Hello beauties! This is Artsythesecond, the Head Director and VA of Haruhi Fujioka of "OHSHC-The Manga Dub!" here!
The cast and crew are so immensely grateful to find so many people enjoying our dubbing of Bisco Hatori's series so far, and we want to keep making more! But in order to keep producing episodes, we need more unique voices for minor characters and extras!
Males, Females, anyone in between and all ages! We need you!!
If you've never heard or seen us before, the most recent episode is up at the top!
Here are a few rules to read before auditioning:
1. Please make sure you have good audio quality! Make sure to minimize background noise, and little to no peaks, please! We can always edit your audio, but it makes it easier in the long run!
2. We here at Ouran pride ourselves in a very nice, congenial atmosphere. If you're cast here, please be expected to be treated as family and to treat others as you would treat yourself! There is no competition (Except in who loves each other the most...platonically.)
3. Be prepared to revisit your part! Minor characters pop up everywhere in Ouran, so even though your work might seem done, SIKE! It probably isn't!

Our extra awesome Co-Director and Head Audio Engineer, MintMonsterVA, is desperately looking for some assistance with the audio!
Your job is simple: Mint will assign you parts in the episode along with the chunk of the actors audio for you to work with. You will level them properly and put the lines together accordingly!

First Appearance: Extra Episode- Daily life in the Fujioka Family
Voice Range: Medium/Low
Besides being a kick ass cross-dresser, Ryoji "Ranka" is an ever-doting father to his beloved Haruhi. Widowed while Haruhi was only 5, he was the sole provider for his daughter, and is understandably protective of her. Ain't no boys hurting his daughter on his watch!
(Talking about Tamaki) "What is this GROSS, DISGUSTING BUG I found on the floor, Haruhi?"
"You sure are a gorgeous group, I wonder which boy should I choose... haha, just kidding!!"
"It's either that she doesn't know how to lean on someone, or she's simply that selfless. She won't give me a space to worry about her....beyond that, she'll protect others instinctively."
First Appearance: Extra Episode The Story of Haruhi's Mother and Father
Voice Range: Middle/Low
Haruhi's late mother. While she was alive, she was a lot like her daughter! Highly intelligent, somewhat clueless, and super cool. She was an amazing lawyer.
"You here again? What is it today? Beef bowls? Curry?"
"Your carefree attitude is really starting to worry me!! If you quit your old job at the bar because of the testimony you provided revealed that your co-worker was the criminal, it was completely necessary!"
"HE'S SO CUTE!! Is this my punishment for keep it secret that I'm not indifferent to beautiful things?! That I'm incredibly attracted to them?!!"
First Appearance: Episode 23
Voice Range: High/Medium
Tamaki Suoh's father. On the outside looks very serious since he's the chairman of Ouran, but on the inside is much like his son, flamboyant and romantic!
(Serious, demeaning) "I believe I'm pretty well aware of what's going on, Tamaki. Indeed you were busy looking for the perpetrator during the race, but to what end? All you did was show how incompetent you are."
(Starting off serious, but goes into him teasing Tamaki) "Tamaki. You are truly... a very silly boy~!"
(To Haruhi) "I'm also quite aware of the reason why you're hiding the fact tat you're a girl! What a horrible boy Tamaki is to do that to such a darling girl. I have an idea. How about if this Daddy buys you a pretty dress!"
First Appearance: Episode 54
Voice Range: High/Medium
The mother of Tamaki, and the wife of Yuzuru. Had a very bad illness that almost cost her life, and was shunned by the Suoh family for falling in love with Yuzuru and having Tamaki while Yuzuru was married.
(Talking to Kyoya) "Hello. Are you awake? Even if it is a safe town, it's dangerous to sleep out on the sidewalk."
"Look!! These are potatoes we harvested from our fields. You're hungry, aren't you? I'll make you something to eat."
(Serious) "And the most important thing to me... I had to give up because of this weak body. I was receiving aid from a certain place...and it was possible to continue living like I had before... but there was no way I would be forgiven. A person who would sell her son..."

Voice Range: Low
The Head of the Suoh Family. She is stone cold, hard, and has a deep rooted hate for Tamaki and Anne-Sophie. She cannot accept him since he was born illegitimately and was only excepted into the family because he was the only heir. She does warm up to him at the end, and learns to love him and his mom.
(To Tamaki, coldly) "Don't touch me. You're filthy. A son of a Harlot who vanished, deserting her own child... shameless."
(Sweetly) "Tamaki. You may go. Go see your mother. Apologize for my past rudeness. And then...come back and play your piano a bit more for me...?"
First Appearance: Episode 23
Voice Range: Medium/Low
The mysterious head of the Ohtori Group, also is Kyoya's father. He treats the people around him, even his family, like business pawns for him to use. At first, he sees Kyoya as lesser than his older brothers and does not take him into account, but soon he realizes that Kyoya has the potential to take the top spot in the family business.
(To Kyoya) "Are you getting on well with young suoh as always? Be sure to keep it up. In the future... the Suohs will most assuredly become of even greater use to our family."
"It was right to let the chairman's son take the spotlight in the end. Well done, Kyoya."
First Appearance: Episode 23
Voice Range: Medium
Kyoya's dreamy older sister. Unlike the rest of her family, she is happy-go-lucky and floaty. She wants Kyoya to be happy above all else, and wants to see him shine like she knows he can.
(Sweetly) "Kyoya! Welcome home."
"Don't you think they might actually want to gaze at the stars with you? How romantic!! Intensifying your friendships under the starry sky!!"
First Appearance: Episode 24
Voice Range: High/Medium
A world renowned fashion designer and the president of her own brand. She is highly critical, but can't even tell her two twin boys apart. Very spunky.
"This looks like fun. The interior is pretty nice too."
(To Haruhi) "Oh, so you're the one? Hmm... Stand up straight. You should trim your hair a little more. Oh dear, your ribbon is tilted. Your vest is too big. Hikaru, Koaru, did you measure her properly?"
First Appearance: Episode 29
Voice Range: High/Medium
Little brother to Mitsukuni Haninozuka. He at first hates his older brother because of him going against the Haninozuka values of toughness and manliness, but realizes that everyone needs to be a little selfish sometimes, and to go for what they really want in life. Chika is a tsundere, and a hella cute one at that.
"Mitsukuni...Prepare yourself!"
"Let me be clear. A freak like Mitsukuni could never be the head of the Haninozuka family. "
First Appearance: Episode 29
Voice Range: Medium
An entirely different person from this older brother Mori, he is refreshing and peppy. Literally acts like a puppy and is all over the place, and is best friends with Chika.
"NO SKIPPING OUT ON CLUB!!"
(Happily) "Oh, so he had business with Mitsukuni, then? Here I was, tearing around thinking he was skipping club!! Haha!"
First Appearance: Episode 42
Voice Range: Medium/Low
The spunky daughter of Mizuzu. She's harbored bad feelings towards him ever since Mizuzu left her family to become a full on drag queen. She's also a fashion designer, and looks up to the Twin's mom. Loud, and not afraid to say what she wants.
(Yelling at Haruhi) "I always make clothes in the morning, okay?! I have to finish a yukata before the summer festival, and there's a club fashion show at the end of summer break!"
"You should have seen how kind Tamaki was to the old folks. It made me realize how great he is."
(Laughing) "Oh.. right. That's so true! Pbfft!!"
First Appearance: Episode 57
Voice Range: Medium/Low
The lawyer for the Suoh Family. She looked up to Haruhi's mother like a big sister. Somewhat cold, and highly intelligent.
(Formally) "Please come upstairs. We will begin shortly. The chairman asked me to show you around. My name is Kosaka."
"I have to clarify that I started at that school a few years after Miss Kotoko had graduated. She was a legend... she was an amazing law student."
First Appearance: Episode 10

Ah, Benio. Where to start with you. She's the president of the famous Zuka Club, and is a straightforward, love-perusing woman. She is not scared to share her beliefs or to flamboyantly show the world how gay she is. She is also heavily masculine looking, so bring that masculine punch out, ladies!
I personally can't wait to hear these auditions!!
(Flamboyantly) "Saint Roberia Institute, second year, Benio Amakusa!"
"Using your superficial looks to spread false love to play with pure female hearts is a complete degradation of women!"
"I swear to you... I will rescue you and destroy the Host Club!"

Definitely the mom in the Zuka Club. Very sweet and elegant, looking for more of a softer tone.
(Flamboyantly) "Saint Roberia Institute, second year, Chizuru Maihara!"
"A woman's beauty lies in a pure mind... unyielding to superficial beauty, power, or lust..."
(Lovingly) "She's a rose among thorns..."

Voice Range: High
The spunky first year of the Zuka Club. Think of her as a gay diet Renge.
(Flamboyantly) "Saint Roberia Institute, first year, Hinako Tsuwabuki!"
(Cocky) "It seems you have no words for our divine love!"
"Let's have a tea party, just us four~!"
First Appearance: Episode 5 (Episode 27 is dedicated to him, though. What I tell you about comebacks)
Voice Range: Medium/Low
A very dapper and enthusiastic old man! He came from a poor family, and was saved by a goddess one night. He became a teacher and sold soup cookbooks to become as wealthy as he is today.
"Alright, who threw that fork?"
(Irate) "Suoh I'm astonished!! You, out of all people, behaving so irresponsibly! This does not reflect well on the Suoh family name!"
First Appearance: Episode 6
Voice Range: High
A very cute, pure, piano loving, regular seven year old girl with a gigantic crush on Shiro Takaouji, her classmate and friend.
"Shiro... Have you practiced that new piano part?"
(Eagerly) "Shiro, you always listen while I play piano. Let's learn together!"
First Appearance: Episode 7
Voice Range: Middle/Low
These guards will most definitely pop up through all of the manga, and most likely if you even audition for this part, you get the role! We need as many as possible.
"Emergency alert! Mount up!! One of Master Kyoya's friends is missing near the flowing pool!"
(Authoritative) "Put that boy down, sir! Now!"
"He's resisting! If he persists, prepare to fire!!"
First Appearance: Episode 9
Voice Range: Medium/Low
The Head maid in the Nekozawa family household. Very spooky, but quite quirky. We're looking for a smooth, soothing kind of voice.
(Calmly) "Your wardrobe, Master."
"Their opposite nature are at the root of their tragic relationship. And that's why they're called the 'Romeo and Juliet' of the Nekozawa Family."
First Appearance: Episode 9
Voice Range: Low
A very Mori-esque butler. Very stoic looking, but he does love the family he takes care of. He does speak, though, so that's a plus!
"Incidentally, we were charged with escorting Miss Kirimi home. We looked everywhere for you, Miss."
(Sweetly) "Miss Kirimi, let's go home."
First Appearance: Episode 11
Voice Range: High/Medium
Vice President of Class 1-A, very sweet girl, and is a regular at the Host Club! She will also be in the extra girl scenes as well in her own!
"Haruhi, Haruhi! Hikaru and Kaoru seem to be having fun!"
(Talking about the Twins) "Most of us have known each other since elementary school, but those two never seemed like they enjoyed school much. I think it was after the Host Club was established that they gradually started talking to us."

The scaredy-cat class president of 1-A. Has a deep (at first) unrequited love for Momoka, and is very nervous at all times.
" 'The Witch of the Central Wing'... It's a campus legend!"

The sassiest Head Housekeeper in Suoh Mansion #2. Tough love on Tamaki, but genuinely wants to see him grow up well.
"Good morning Master Tamaki, are you going out already?"
"...You're still in your pajama bottoms."
"How unseemly!"

The best boss here from- uh oh shoot, where is Ouran? Ah, anyway, he's a simple guy who does his job managing his store. He also has become close friends with Ryoji and decides to help him out.
"Huh? Haruhi's rebelling? Are you sure that's it? It's not because she has a gay dad?"
"It's called parent-child communication, Ryoji. You ought to give it some thought."
(Talking to younger Haruhi) "Looks like not going to parents day hit him pretty hard. Next time, would you invite him?"
First Appearance: Episode 16
Voice range: High/Medium
The president of the failing Newspaper Club. He reaches out to the Host Club to get his ranking back up by using Tamaki as his main headline. A very sneaky and selfish man.
"Sure, in our quest for readership, we lost sight of the truth, But with the imminent closure of our club, our eyes were opened. Please lend us your aid!!!"
"Tamaki Suoh... I'll wager he's an exceptionally shrewd man. I'm betting he has a dark side!"
First Appearance: Episode 18
Voice Range: High/Medium
The flamboyant drag queen owner of his own pensione in Karuizawa! He is very girly, and loves refreshing young men.
"Wow~! What a bunch of cute boys~! Are you all Haruhi's friends?!"
"10 refresher points to Mori~!!!"

Voice range: Medium/Low
Was actually given the nick-name "Miss Morse" because she sounds exactly like morse-code. Little to no expression in the beginning, but we gradually see her real self later on.
"Either way, this is far beyond a CERTAIN LEVEL of noise. You say you want to help Fujioka study, but your actions don't match your stated intent. This is the kind of hypocrisy I detest. Now will you kindly shut up?"
"I don't understand!! Why is a harebrained guy like this ranked second while I'm third?!!"
(Heartbroken) "Stop twisting my feelings around!!"
First Appearance: Episode 19
Voice Range: High/Medium
A refreshing delivery boy in Karuizawa who just so happens to be a middle school friend of Haruhi's! He had liked her in the past, but was sorely rejected, but still keeps a bright face about it.
(Surprised) "Haruhi Fujioka? Wh-Why are you here? And your hair!! Did you get a haircut?!"
(Sweetly, to Haruhi) "Actually, I was worried about you going that school... I thought you'd have a hard time. I'm glad you're okay."
"Haha! It's okay, I got over it. The fact that you didn't get it meant you weren't interested in me. That's all!"
First Appearance: Episode 21
Voice Range: High
The little sister of Nekozawa, in contrast to him, she is full of light and pureness, even though she was born into the creepiest family alive. She longs to meet her big brother that she sees in paintings, who looks like a prince.
"Male Harem...?"
"There's debauchery here!!"
(Crying out) "Big Brother, save me!!!"
First Appearance: Episode 22
Voice Range: High/Medium
The captain of the Ouran American Football Team. Has a hard grudge against Kyoya, and a weird addiction with oranges; he is always seen eating one.
(Condescending) "Oops...Excuse me. You're only the third son, so no matter how much you try, you never can be the heir to the family, can you? No wonder you lick crumbs of glory from the boots of the chairman's son."
"That jerk. He trampled on my good will... I will never forget that time in Kindergarten..."
(Angry) "You were so sure I'd lose..?"
First Appearance: Episode 22
Voice Range: High/Medium
Secretary of the student council, and the fiancee of Takashi. She is very straightforward and is calm and collected.
"I thought it would be painful to see Takeshi pointlessly beating himself up after losing against Kyoya yet again... *sighs* but that side of him is what makes him cute..."
(To Takeshi) "I love you even if you can't beat Kyoya. So instead of fighting him... just pay more attention to me."
First Appearance: Episode 22

The president of the student council for the third year in a row! A quiet and nervous young man, He also gets wicked tummy aches when anything remotely exciting happens, poor guy.
(To the Host Club) "Excuse us for intruding on your conversation, I'm Matsudaira, student council president... We've come to let you know we chose to withdraw from the race this year."
First Appearance: Episode 38
Voice Range: High
The princess of the Monar Kingdom, and alsmost exactly looks like Tamaki's mother. Sweet on the outside, but selfish and vain and lies about her kingdom and brother. Her Mother and Father died suddenly, and now her brother is all she has.
"It sounds so lively in here. And those costumes... Is this a play of some sort?"
(To the Host Club) "They'll do. During the two weeks I'm at this school... I'll assign you as my menservants."
"What's so pretty about these stupid blossoms??!!"
First Appearance: Episode 65
Voice Range: Medium/Low
The spitting image of Tamaki's dream version of Haruhi. Sweet, caring, and is an amazing cook. Her voice should sound like our Haruhi, but a little bit softer and higher.
"I just moved here from Kobe. My name is Megumi Kanoya. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"It seems you have many sides to you, master Tamaki. In that case, tomorrow I'll bring you a bento with heart-shaped and teddy bear-shaped food~"
(Desperate) Please don't leave me alone!!"
