At first, he sees Kyoya as lesser than his older brothers and does not take him into account, but soon he realizes that Kyoya has the potential to take the top spot in the family business.
(To Kyoya) "Are you getting on well with young suoh as always? Be sure to keep it up. In the future... the Suohs will most assuredly become of even greater use to our family."
