LODFD Project
Currently working on Episode 8 this Fandub has taken off in storm for the LOD Fandom Community as a whole and has become another way to help push for a remake for this loved title across all platform's. With revised Music, upscaled FMV's and completely new and added battle scenes. We hope to eventually work on introducing this series into the game in a mod package in the future. Working alongside Drew Universe as they work to complete an upscaled version of the game itself and continue to improve upon the amazing "Severed Chains" PC port for LOD. The movement for Legend of Dragoon and Endiness has never been so full of life.

Introduction - The Game
Is a role-playing game developed by Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation in 1999 in Japan, 2000 in North America, and 2001 in Europe. Set in a high fantasy fictional world called Endiness, the game follows a group of warriors led by the protagonist, Dart, as they attempt to stop the destruction of the world. The Legend of Dragoon takes place in a world referred to in-game as "Endiness". Its aesthetic resembles the Middle Ages with fantasy elements such as swords, magic, and dragons.
The world contains a variety of species including Humans, Dragons, and Winglies. Humans live as farmers while Dragons look like winged creatures and possess Dragon Spirits. Winglies are an aggressive species that can fly and enslaved humans 10,000 years before the start of the game. Humans became Dragoons by obtaining the help of Dragons to defeat the Winglies and, at the time of the game's events, live in relative peace.
There are nine playable protagonists in the game.
The main protagonist is Dart, a warrior who is searching for the Black Monster. Shana is Dart's childhood friend and love interest. Rose is a warrior who teaches Dart how to fight as a Dragoon. Albert is the king of Basil, a duchy within the game and Lavitz is his loyal knight who fights with a spear. Meru is a dancer from a flower town and Kongol is the last of his species alive in the game's world. Haschel is an elderly man searching for his daughter and Miranda is a magician.
Scope of Each Role
The game isn't fully voiced, instead, characters have accent lines spoken during certain FMV, Each voice will be dubbed and redone for each role. Previous or Current knowledge of the game and its characters are strongly preferred but not necessary.
Auditioning
This is a Volunteer ONLY casting call and is not offering any sort of payment other than free commercial sponsorship for your voice and traction for the game in hopes get a remake to push it immensely in the LOD community, but also giving this beautiful gem of a game a voiced persona for which it deserves and no less. Current progress is 8+ Episodes in and doing amazing but in need of more interested Extras, and upcoming main roles.
Requirements
* Up to 3 takes for each line.
* Please do not slate your audition.
* Please submit auditions as .mp3 files.
* Please include your email address and Discord username, if you have one, with your audition.
* Please record in a quiet space free of background noise! I'll be using the takes to figure out how the final product will sound.
Getting Casted
Once you've been cast, if you agree to the role, you'll receive a quick contract establishing my rights to use the voice lines commercially, and solidifying terms and conditions. Upon signing the form, you will officially receive the part and be credited in each episode as part of the cast. All information on the Project "Currently in Progress" is updated in our discord. Upon notice of the current auditions for Drake the Bandit I realized some details pertaining to his ingame perceived voice is higher along the lines of Weevil Underwood and is our approach we are now looking for in the description for those interested in Drakes Role.
Arena Contestants Role has been updated to better explain which part you will be auditioning for. As explained before these are side characters that are only in 1 battle per, but still require/include battle effects and dialogue new and old which will be included in the scenes.
Lead Role
Haschel is a talented martial artist with the heart of a kid and a fist of iron. He tends to be somewhat silly and always a flirt.
Haschel comes from Rouge, a fishing village to the west of Endiness that prides itself on its martial arts heritage. Haschel joins the party at a fighting contest early on in the story. Apparently he knows Dart as they crossed roads during their journeys, Dart's being one of revenge, while Haschel was searching the world for his estranged daughter.
Throughout the story, many hints were placed toward the suspicion that Haschel's daughter, Claire, was also Dart's mother. Although never confirmed, it is accepted that this is true. In short, Haschel is Dart's grandfather.
Outside the battlefield, Haschel is upbeat and jovial, even throwing in some jokes while in conversation with his friends. In battle, however, Haschel is serious, calm and collected.
Martial arts is your heart. When you hit, your fist aches, and your heart aches.
"You idiot!! When knights lose self-control, their lord cannot be saved. Only you can save King Albert now."
"Don't worry about it. But can you call me just Haschel? Master Haschel makes me feel uneasy...that includes you too, Shana."
Major Role
This is an Important role as part of the original band of the Seven Dragoons of Rose's party 10,000 thousand years ago.
It is noted in writings that Shirley was the glue that held together the disparate band of seven original dragoons. She was the kind mother who loved all and hated war; for this reason Belzac, the Gold Dragon Spirit Dragoon, fell deeply in love with her. Whether her feelings were mutual is left unknown. Her standings with Rose were better than most, as the two women clearly respected each other in the time of war and in the time of her afterlife.
Shirley is not a person anymore, but in fact the spirit of the old White-Silver Dragoon. She died at the end of the Dragon Campaign.
During the battle with Shirley, she asks deep personal questions to Dart, Rose and Lavitz, peering into their hearts and transforming into their loved ones. When talking to Dart she will transform into Shana; the voice during this attack is not Shana's but a much younger sounding voice. While talking to Lavitz she will transform into Albert; as with the Shana form, the voice is not Albert's.
"Drake...it's okay now. People with Dragoon Spirits. Why are you disturbing my quiet moment?"
You are.... Rose, aren't you...? Oh...I understand. You have been on your sad journey since then."
"A Dragon's poison can be removed with the Dragoon Spirit of a White Silver Dragon, which is filled with healing magic. Now, I will challenge you to see if you deserve this Dragoon Spirit. Shall we begin? Try to overcome me. If you cannot do it, the girl's fate is to die."
Side Character \ Shirley's Guardian
Important: Looking for a Weevil Underwood voice take to this specific character.
Was known as a great bandit who could open any lock with a wire. He caused quite a bit of trouble in Lohan a few years prior and vanished shortly after that, having left to protect the Shrine of Shirley from other bandits.
Dart, Lavitz and Rose go beyond the "odd plant" in the Nest of Dragon to arrive at the Shrine of Shirley in search of Dragoni Plant. Once they make it to the main area of the shrine, they are attacked by Drake. He claims they are here to steal whatever is in the shrine. Dart tries to argue, but Rose says that it would be easier to kill him and the battle begins.
"It's amazing you made it through the traps! But your luck is over! 'Cuz I won't let you go further! Come on! Draw your sword!"
"You want me to believe that!? You must be after the treasure, aren't ya!?"
"You thieves!! Now you reveal your true selves!! Prepare yourselves!!"
Side Character
After fighting Greham and Feyrbrand in Nest of Dragon, Dart and friends reach Lohan where they take the unconscious Shana to a doctor. After Shana has been examined by the doctor, "Sanator" reveals that the only cure is a Dragoni Plant. Dart, Rose and Lavitz must travel back through the Nest to the Shrine of Shirley to find Dragoni herb. The malefic plant created by the poison of the dragon is still a problem though; they decide to pour some of the pure water from the cavern onto the venomous vegetable to make it disappear.
"I couldn't believe it was Dragon's poison until I saw it with my own eyes. I have never seen such symptoms. There is nothing wrong with the body...at least that's how it seems. But her consciousness has closed inward after she arrived here. It seems the mind is poisoned, not the body. I don't think the clinic can help her. I'm sorry, but in this condition, it could be a week, if she is lucky."
"I read it in a secret heirloom book. The problem is, as with Dragons, Dragoni Plant exists only in legend. I cannot say for sure if it really exists."
Side Character
Pelpee is an uncanny Mininto first encountered in the Commercial Town of Lohan, enthusiastically spouting about the special Hero Competition ticket he was selling for 50 gold. When Dart questions how it was different from any other ticket, Pelpee realizes that had been had, revealing that he was an unfortunate victim of the scamming street vendor.
Minintos are a diminutive, intelligent species of Endiness. According to myth they were the 99th fruit of the Divine Tree, created soon after Gigantos, the 97th. A domain in which Minintos live and which they govern is one of the slightly surreal areas on the Moon That Never Sets.

As the Fandub progresses into larger city's and crowds with multiple characters of all personalities, We will be needing multiple of each accent, gender and age to help bring these towns to life in Endiness. "Male Adult" I asked my dad to take care of the store! I'm gonna go take a look at the Arena! The slow economy is only in your mind! You can still make it rich! These market cycles always pass.
"Female Senior" There are too many people in this town. Living quietly is just a dream, unfortunately. This town is too noisy. It's hard on old people like myself.
"Male Child" I lost my pa again. I told him to follow me. He's such a troublemaker.
