Lyria Uprising Pilot Episode
Project Overview
Lyria Uprising is the first season in a three-part animated series. This specific casting call includes all the voices that will be needed for the pilot episode that will be published on youtube. The series is a fantasy world set in the far future where most mythical creatures have been hunted to extinction and the only remnant of their existence is a new form of technology that some people can use. These people are called "Bright Eyes" because the implants in their eyes glow. The implants let them transform into either animals or mythical beasts that match their personality. Most of the Bright Eyes are forced into the military with very few escaping. Some of these people that have escaped have formed a rebel group that is trying to overthrow the queen for her totalitarian ruling practices.
The pilot introduces the main character as a child and shows how he escapes from the military to eventually form the rebel group.
This project is going to be a long-lasting one and there will be a need for more voices as the series goes on. The purpose of this casting call is to get all the voices we need for the pilot. Everyone here will be needed for the full series, so expect this to be a long-term project. This is unpaid as of right now, however, we plan to monetize the videos on youtube and get add revenue from there so there may be payment in the future.

Drako is an incredibly serious person who is the leader of the rebel group. He is often deep in thought and doesn't move too quickly on plans. In essence, he is cautious and serious but he knows when to make a joke and when he can relax a little.

Atalanta is 23
Atalanta is someone who is fierce when it comes to protecting the people she cares about but has a heart of gold when talking to them. She takes on a sort of mentor role like an older sister to Draco.

Victoria is 24
Victoria is someone who in this story is a hybrid child between a human and a fairy. Soon after her birth, her mother left to go live with her people and the queen scouted her to join as an informant.

Jack is 19
Jack is someone who is very bright and bubbly but with a sense of mischief to his voice. He's someone who on the surface seems very upbeat but harbors trauma relating to an accident earlier in his life.

Kane is 38
Kane used to be a top soldier for the queen, to the point where he had obtained the rank of admiral. However, when given the task to kill a child, he was unable to because his morals forbid him from doing so. Picture a good-natured grandfather war vet for his personality.

Bennet is 33
Bennet is reserved and thinks his words through before he speaks. He often comes off as shy because of this, but this isn't really the case.
[Say this as if you're guarding someplace and some random hobo is attempting to enter] Stop! Where do you think you're going Bright Eyed? Leave here and never come back!
[say this as if you're lecturing someone] Well you aren't the brightest either.
[Say this as if you're concerned about your partner and trying to stop them from being overbearing] Kane, we need to give him space. I know you're just worried about what happened 17 years ago, but he's not stupid enough to get himself killed.

Amira's age is hard to guess but sounds like she's somewhere in her 30's to her 40's.
Amira is the fairy queen who appears to be a tyrant with no other motives than to be as controlling as possible. However, hidden under that cold and calm demeanor, she is full of sorrow over a recent loss that she experienced in her life.

This person is someone who works to identify probably bright eyes children. Because of this, they work for the queen.
[Say this as if you're partially concerned but still have to do your job] Yes, thank you for coming. I have received a message from the queen herself that she needs us to get rid of someone.
[Say this as if you're surprised but not exactly angry] He's alive? I thought the guards murdered him!
We have 4 animators at the moment and we have an agreed-upon style. However, the more people who can help out, the better.

Currently, we have one person composing the music for the entire studio. They would appreciate the help. The music style we are hoping for is somewhere along the lines of electronic mixed with fantasy with another possibility being synth.
