How to Greet a New Pal Comic Dub - Vocal Casting
Project Overview
Introduction
Hello there! I am TheTVBunny and I am working on a comic dub on the comic known as "How to Greet a New Pal" written and drawn out by Poetax. The actual comic here.
The comic is a small comic based around the two Underfell skeleton brothers finding the normal Sans in their universe.
Requirements
- Please at least be the age of 13. This is important as you will need to contact me through email or Discord and... they only allow thirteen and up to create an account.
- Please have good equipment, despite you not being paid. I am still requiring you to have good equipment for the dub, so it's easier to make everything work together in post-production. This means no excessive background noise, peaking/clipping, and room reverb.
- When you audition, please give me an mp3 file or, if you need to, a wav file. This is due to compression problems with wav files.
- Comply with any changes asked of you. This is going to more likely get you cast into a role rather than if you don’t.
- Try to give two or three takes at a minimum to get an idea of your different inflections for the lines provided.
- Channel emotion into the voice you produce. This if not achieved well can ruin your chances at the role.
Deadline
There is a set deadline of July 16th, 2021. I will most likely not change this deadline unless absolutely needed. I should have everything done by the 17th in terms of casting.
What to Expect
As I mentioned before, I will be contacting you by email or Discord. It would primarily be Discord but everyone will be sending their lines onto a Google Drive.

Matthew Scott
Underfell Sans should have that tough-guy persona to him as well as really hot-headed and at times rude or evil. He may also be a clown from time to time by cracking a pun or two at points. His voice should be much more of a New York or Manhattan accent with a low scratchy tone to the voice, baritone.

Underfell Papyrus is a pompous and egocentric person and when his ego is deflated, he will get mad over it. He is also a lot of the time... loud and bossy a lot from his ego extending a little too far. I don't care if you go British or American as I don't have a preference, but I would like his voice to be higher in pitch from the Sanses being somewhere in the medium to medium-low tones. His voice should also have a rasp to it.
"Obviously I didn't, but I can't have you wasting away on the job. What if a human comes through here and you are nothing but a pile of worthless starved dust?" [Serious, Putting Someone Down a Tad]
"SANS! If you don't want to be thrown into the torture chamber as well, then you will shut your mouth and take this seriously!!" [Angry, Threatening]

Sans is just... a clown. He is good at reading the room only making a pun when he can and doesn't when he can't. He isn't above being serious either with making serious talk with Underfell Sans from time to time. Go more on the djsmell side of the voice with the baritone slight... slight Patrick tone.
