Heroton Productions Casting Call

Project Overview

Hello everyone! Due to unfortunate circumstances, many actors have quit either projects and their roles are now open to be filled. Bellow are the following characters that are available, more may be added depending on if the original actor returns or not, but these are listed in terms of both priority and longevity.

Just as a forewarning; certain characters are either a copy or the same person as another role, so if you audition for one, you will also need to audition for the other.

Secondly; you MUST have a discord account. Joining the server isn't a requirement, but it'll be the main source of communication.

Lastly; the roles you are auditioning for are not for one project, you will be auditioning to play the character in all of their appearances, so please keep that in mind that you will need to be readily available.

Latest Updates

  • Extended Deadline for specific characters!

Hello everyone, and thank you for all the people that have auditioned so far!

Due to adding on a few characters, and also a lack of auditions for the BlazBlue cast, I will be casting roles for the auditions submitted so far by the original deadline of February 1st, while every other role will be receiving one additional week.

Please spread the word around if you have anyone interested in auditioning!

Lastly: In regards to the original characters for the Sonic series, I understand the hesitation, but they are major characters and will be needed ASAP!

Young Sonic the Hedgehog

Role assigned to: Noah D.

Sonic around the ages of 12-14. He is far more relaxed at this age, almost to the point of being lazy. He is also overconfident to a fault, believing that his speed is enough to handle any situation. Being younger. also, he is very shy around girls, and tends to talk back to authority figures. His motto of "Way past cool" is the credo he lives by.

Classic Sonic was once voiced by Jaleel White, HOWEVER I am looking for anyone that can either pull that off, OR a young-kid version of Jason Griffith will also be accepted. Example of his work can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HBBEiSlpcQ

Anyone can audition for this role, though an actress is preferred!

  • I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog, and this is way past cool!

  • You may know everything that I'm going to do! But that won't help you because I know everything you're going to do! Strange, isn't it?!

Tails the Fox (Also known as Miles Prower) is an 8-year old Two tailed Fox and also Sonic's best friend, the two of them have a brotherly relationship and have known each other for years after Sonic rescued him. Tails is extremely intelligent, known as the tech guy for Sonic's team, as well as the best flier, both naturally (Using his two tails as a helicopter), and mechanically with his various machines, one of which being his famous play, the Tornado. As a kid, Tails is somewhat of a coward, relying on Sonic for everything, but when he grew up, he learned to stand up for himself, despite still being overall shy.

I am looking for a voice similar to his 4Kids actor, Amy Palant. No need to be 1:1, but you get the idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwqCkyd82MA&list=PLKBe7Xkz64u827rKxSL9eo3smgNkpsnic&index=2

Cream the Rabbit

Role assigned to: Kitty Lynn Rose

Because of her mother's teachings in the importance of manners, Cream is a princess-like figure; she is very polite and well-behaved,  speaks courteously (often referring to people as "Mr." and "Miss") and does what she is told. With her politeness being like second-nature to her, Cream acts out her teachings with a cheerful smile on her face and a soft voice. Regardless of the situation and being used to getting what she wants, Cream never forgets her manners, even offering a polite curtsy before attacking Eggman, with extreme prejudice.

While I'm being lenient on this, the voice I am looking for a voice similar to her actor, Michelle Ruff, here is an example of her voice work. (As well as the other actresses since Cream's voice is very samey)

Role assigned to: Kitty Lynn Rose

Rouge lives a double life as a jewel Thief, and a secret agent of the military organization G.U.N.. Rouge uses both her skills in stealth and combat to get what she wants out of her enemies, as well as being able to hold her own in a fight. She's also well aware of her looks, and uses it to her advantage against her foes as well. Despite her double life and her looks, Rouge is very kind-hearted towards her friends, and shares a rivalry with Knuckles the Echidna. She also shares a deep friendship with E-123 Omega and Shadow, the latter of which she is implied to romantically have feelings for.

The voice I am looking for a voice similar to her current actor, Karen Strassman, here is an example of her voice work.

Role assigned to: Jsaking11

E-123 Omega is the last of the E-100 series robots created by Dr. Eggman. Due to him abandoning the project, Omega felt betrayed, and rebelled against his creator out of revenge. He teamed up with Shadow the Hedgehog and Rouge the Bat, and the three have been close friends ever since. Omega loves destruction and battling, to the point of being egotistical in his own abilities. He thinks little of others that aren't Shadow and Rouge, though he does have respect for his former robot comrades, especially his "Older Brothers". One of those Older Brothers was E-102 Gamma, who, while not the first to gain emotions and rebel against Eggman, was the first to turn good as a result of seeing his brothers die, having to fight those who remained, and ultimately sacrificing himself in the process. Despite it being revealed that Omega possesses the memories of the previous E-100 series, his motivation of destroying Eggman is unchanged.

While there is no specific voice I want for these roles, they all basically sound the same. He was voiced by John St. John in the originals and Vic Mignogna currently, however the filter is heavy enough that you can't tell the difference. Regardless, here is a voice example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsTb6t_aumQ

Espio the Chameleon

Role assigned to: Jsaking11

A straight-laced detective, Espio is serious, practical, intelligent and wise. He has a militaristic discipline despite being quiet and laid-back. Espio is additionally portrayed as being stubborn, opinionated and self-obsessed. Despite this, he has an excellent drive to all that he does and flourishes off of peril, getting himself into threatening situations to flex and polish his ninja skills, and, due to his extensive training, he can confront these troubles head-on unconcerned by danger. Espio values his freedom more than anything else, and in the wake of being caught in Dr. Eggman's Combi Machine, he looked to stop the evil scientist no matter what. This is due to his reserved demeanor, which hides a burning sense of justice and a refusal to let evil have its way.

I'm not particularly picky on the voice used for Espio, however it must be similar to any of the actors listed in the reference below. Additionally, I would prefer a performance similar to that of Troy Baker/Mather Mercer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_CMu2kbSZg

Blaze the Cat

A noble soul, Blaze is normally calm, solemn and level-headed, but tends to conceal her true feelings. She is often described as elegant, which is demonstrated through her body movements and her ballerina-like fighting style. Being royalty, Blaze is quite mannerly and typically maintains a relatively quiet, stoic and formal air among others. Despite being a princess, she doesn’t liked to be called as such.

While Blaze gives the impression that she keeps her emotions in check, she is inwardly highly emotional. She possesses a fiery temper, and when she loses her composure she is quite frightening, aggressive, harsh, and prone to making bad decisions. This is due to the demon, Iblis, being sealed inside her and amplifying her powers when not in check. She also lacks in social skills and has a hard time opening up and talking to people.

In the original timeline, she acted as a Big sister to Silver the Hedgehog, sacrificing herself for him to seal Iblis away and leading to her current state. While her memories of that timeline have been wiped clean, she easily gets along with the new Silver after they meet, albeit it’s debatable that how she feels towards him has changed from sisterly to more intimate.

While any voice reference for Blaze works, here is an example of them all:

Role assigned to: JespoVoices

The only surviving robotic copy of Sonic, who has developed both an inferiority complex towards his original, as well as a messiah complex due to his status as the only android capable of individual thought (outside of Omega, as Tikal and Omochao are souls inside of mechanical vessels). He strives to be what he believes is “The REAL Sonic”, who is a free spirit that takes what he wants and defines right from wrong. While he is very arrogant, his inferiority complex causes him to usually resort to underhanded tactics, such as copying abilities from other characters in an attempt to gain the upper hand. He has a complicated relationship with Dr. Eggman, though the two mostly seem to get along.

While Metal lacked a voice outside of Sonic Heroes, he has an active speaking role in this series. He mimics Sonic’s voice and annunciations, but lacks the vocal range. For example, he would try to sound like Jason Griffith’s Sonic, but not exactly on the same pitch. Any voice would do so long as it’s mimicking his speech pattern. Role assigned to: Mac!

While frail in appearance, Maria was strong in spirit. Eternally cheerful, optimistic and positive despite her condition, Maria could see the good in almost anyone or anything. She was likewise a very kind, caring and thoughtful soul who always put others before herself, supported her friends, and held an unconditional love for the people of the world, even showing compassion towards her enemies when they were distressed. Because she never got down to earth, Maria was very interested in the planet and wished to see it. She was as well very encouraging as she could make others accept themselves and calm others down when in stressful situations, including Shadow.

Always thinking about others before herself, Maria was one who found it easier than most to forgive and forget, not to mention trust. Even after GUN violently raided the ARK and shot her down, Maria did not hold any ill will against the people on earth and only wished for them to live happy lives. She was also was utterly selfless as she sacrificed her life for Shadow's sake, having faith he would carry on her dreams for her.

Despite her youth and frailness, Maria was brave, determined, and had a strong sense of righteousness. When the Artificial Chaos were on a rampage, Maria wanted to stop them to save the innocent, and during the GUN's raid on the ARK she refused to leave the injured researchers behind. Even on her deathbed, Maria remained undeterred and only wished for Shadow to fulfill his purpose.

I'll leave it up to you to determine what voice best fits Maria, however remember she's a 12 year old girl and has a terminal illness

Role assigned to: Whispering VA

The main antagonist of the Sonic Multimedia Universe, hailing from a timeline where the entirety of Jackal squad became their own version of “Infinite”, but were defeated when Sonic sacrificed himself to destroy the Emperor Ruby. Attempting to start his life over, Infinite, who’s real name is Genesis, would settle down and get married to the Nightopean, Hiro, in the world of Phantomile. While he made new friends, his peace was cut short when his past caught up to him, killing his wife and sending him into a downward spiral in an attempt to bring her back to life. As of now, he is working in the shadows to build his “Infinite Force”, with an end goal of bringing forth “Heaven”. In contrast to his previous self, he is mostly calm and collected, and can be very friendly, even to his foes. He rarely loses his cool, though he can fly into a blind rage whenever he deals with his checkered past.

Infinite in the main canon was originally voiced by Liam O’Brien, with an example of his voice found here: Sonic Forces | All Infinite Voice Lines It doesn’t need to be 1:1, but try to match the way he talks at the least.

Hiro Remiel

Hiro is the twin sister of Lephise, though unlike her sister, she ran away from the lifestyle of a Nightopean. Upon learning the truth about her creation, as well as the reason behind Nightopia and Nightmare, she had been living in the mortal world of Phantomile in hopes of having what she considers a “Normal” life. She would eventually befriend and marry Genesis (formerly known as Infinite), though later die in the Battle of Necromorte. She is very headstrong and lacks a filter when it comes to speaking her mind. While she cares about her loved ones, she can often unintentionally come off as rude or harsh as a result. This mostly stays the same after she is revived, though now she has grown an obsession with staying alive, making her ruthless and cold towards anyone who would stop her and Genesis’ goals of obtaining “Heaven”.

Hiro speaks in a mid-pitched voice with an english accent, similar to Caitlin Glass’ portrayal of Cammy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ny72miEIGeM

Lephise, more commonly known as the Diva, or “The Songstress”, is a well-respected figure in both Nightopia, and the living world of Phantomile. She lives a isolated existence, being the one who sings the song of rebirth, as every mortal creature loses their memories upon hearing the song. Despite this, at one point, she had traveled with a few companions and even fell in love with a Breezegalean boy named Venshiro, though this wouldn’t last when it came time to sing again in response to the Battle of Nectromorte.

Lephise, in contrast to her sister, is reserved and doesn’t often speak up on her true feelings even when directly asked. She has trouble opening up to new people, and is a firm believer that no one can change their fate. She also harbors a strong racism for Nightmaren, believing all of them to be evil, even when proven otherwise.

  • N-n-no! Of course not! I'll always be with you... It's just... Well... I'm a Nightopian, just like Hiro... I'm not going to age like you do, Ven... The thought of not growing old with you... That I'll outlive you... It scares me... So much...

  • I'm YOUR family?! You make me sick! Don't you dare talk about family, you stupid Nightmaren! I lost my sister, and a future with the man I loved! Yet you ACTUALLY think you had a chance to start a life with someone?! Nightmarens can't love! They can't even understand feelings! All you people do is take, and take, AND TAKE! Stop crying! STOP IT! How DARE you pretend to have a heart! It should've been you! If only YOU died instead of Hiro! Then... Then my REAL family would still be here!

Role assigned to: vannamontana106

An orphaned traveler from Mira-Mira who is accompanied by her Nightmaren protector: Ghadius. Not much is known about her past, other than her father sacrificed his soul to Ghadius so he could save her from her deranged brother. She is a natural born leader, and never lets anyone talk down to her, though most of the time she doesn’t feel comfortable speaking to people she doesn’t know. She has somewhat of a hero complex, taking on herculean tasks that often get her hurt, much to Ghadius’ chagrin.

Tails (Sonic Boom)
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: Noah D.

Tails is a friendly young fox with a plucky "can do" attitude and an inherent optimism. The most creative in his group, Tails is a proficient tinkerer with a big imagination. He is constantly furnishing his mind with big dreams of epic inventions to not only give his team the edge but also make life easier. While some of his creations are brilliant, however, some are questionable and not always reliable. Nevertheless, Tails takes pride in his creations and is very emotionally attached to them, as seen in the case of UT, the Tailsmobile and his plane, whom he will risk his own well-being for rather than leaving them to an unfortunate fate. He has a similar attachment to his tools, which he refers to as his "babies". Tails' love for his creations is also his folly however, as he is extremely unwilling to harm them; even after his robot Hypnobot turned evil and sought to destroy the world, Tails could not bring himself to destroy him, which in turn led to Sonic getting injured. It was first when Hypnobot threatened to kill Sonic that Tails finally overcame his inability to harm his own creation by destroying Hypnobot.

For all the mishaps he may cause, Tails can always be relied on to come through for other people. Logically oriented, Tails is skeptic and relies on facts and science over questionable theories, and believes that every occurrence has a logical explanation. However, Tails can get so caught up in what he believes to be fact that he can overlook other important or obvious truths. Also, unlike Sonic, who runs headlong into trouble, Tails plans out the best possible approach to take on a challenge. He also puts a lot of attention into keeping his house orderly, although Sonic has pointed out that it makes him a bit uptight and a neat-freak.

Despite his intelligence and general fearlessness, Tails is still somewhat childish and can be a bit naive at times when dealing with things he does not fully comprehend. He can be shy in the face of the unknown at times as well, although his friends will always help push him out of his comfort zone. Not liking to be thought of as adorable, Tails wants to be recognized as serious and formidable. Also, when competing, Tails does not take personal losses very well. If pushed too far, he will pursue victory with such maniacal zeal that he tends to overlook crucial details. Tails has a bad case of astraphobia as well; the slightly rumbling and flashing makes him cower in fear and look for cover.

While he may bicker with his friends at times, Tails nonetheless tries to present them as well as he can (especially Sonic), so much that he sets up pictures in his house that show them in the best light, even when they get the best of him. Tails also does not like to disappoint others, one time to the extent of outright lying so he would not upset anyone. When he thinks he has let others down (usually when his well-intentioned inventions backfire horribly), Tails gets really hard on himself and will go to extensive lengths to do better in the future. Along those lines, he sometimes feels like he has to prove himself to his teammates, like when he worked hard to become Sonic's sidekick again after Sonic fired him.\

He is voiced by Colleen Villard, her voice work can be found here: https://youtu.be/ciE1iR7E2jA?t=28

Knuckles (Sonic Boom)
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: Lucas Bradley

Knuckles is described as a "punch-first-and-keep-punching-until-you-need-a-punch-break" kind of echidna, and the best solution to a problem for him is to smash it to pieces. He is determined and strong of character, but tends to be rather cocky and get into trouble.

Knuckles has shown on several occasions to have a huge ego: he clearly thinks of himself as his team's leader and most capable member, and fancies himself very heroic. Also, as a result of his self-pride, Knuckles feels great about himself all the time. However, his self-admiration makes him exaggerate his own recollection of his accomplishments and endeavors to the point of absurdity, leaving him convinced in his mind that he, for example, has various ridiculous superpowers. Proud of his manliness, Knuckles has a very macho-orientated attitude which at times makes him sound somewhat archaic. He is also very blunt when expressing his opinions, which makes him come off as insensitive.

Despite his tough personality, Knuckles is a softy on the inside with some noticeable preferences in particular: he loves nature and is very loyal to his friends. He can also be protective and even gentle as displayed by his dedication to the Fregosi Sapphire and Ms. Tomatopotamus. Also, after reevaluating his status as the last of his kind, Knuckles began feeling the kind of loneliness that comes from knowing that you have no relatives, making him both vulnerable and long for the love only a family can provide. However, he has since come to realize that his friends are his family and that their love is just as good.

Knuckles is the opposite of Sonic: he is stubborn, likes to take his time and is very naive. He is likewise far from intelligent, having admitted himself that he is "as dumb as a rock." Having trouble keeping even the simplest facts on his friends straight, he is a little slow on the uptake, particularly when it comes to elaborate plans and math problems, as even simplified explanations takes him a long time to process.

He is also a bit goofy at times and easily distracted to the point where he is drawn to things as simple as shiny objects. Knuckles is not entirely dim-witted, however, having on a few occasions shown some surprising insight, cunning, witticism, sarcasm, and even resourcefulness in different situations. Sometimes he can even tell when he is in over his head. His simple-minded view on things likewise lets him find answers to questions that would otherwise confuse more intellectual individuals. Knuckles can also be quite the charismatic rallier, as he has the grounded and simple (if not selfish) ideals that the common man find very relatable; most noticeably, he was able to convince the villagers of Hedgehog Village to help Team Sonic fight an army of robots by inspiring them to protect their possessions.

Knuckles is a little sensitive when it comes to his intelligence. While he accepts he is not the smartest, he takes great offense when being called stupid and will go to extreme lengths to prove otherwise. Also, when Knuckles got his team into trouble with a half-baked plan, he sunk into a depression over his imposed stupidity until his friends restored his confidence.

Noticeably, Knuckles also has a habit of saying "not cool" to others when they do something he disagrees with. He also has feelings for Amy, but never addresses them externally.

Knuckles is voiced by Travis Willingham, example of his voice can be found here: https://youtu.be/c_qp2mg94EY?t=47. The voice doesn’t need to be 1:1, but it must match the energy

Amy (Sonic Boom)

Role assigned to: Mac!

Amy is smart, independent, strong, and confident. She is a natural leader and organizer, but also a perfectionist who needs everything to be just right. She also tends to take charge of everyone around her, though she cannot help it since she knows what others want before they do. She is overall sweet and has ballerina-like gracefulness, but also a capable and tough cookie. Amy similarly takes great pride in her expertise in archeology, and thus hates when people show her up in that field. For all her confidence though, it is hinted that she has insecurities which she covers up by bossing others around. She is also sometimes shy about admitting her true feelings for others.

Amy is most of the time the sensible member on her team and the most emotionally mature of them, offering common sense when the rest of the team gets carried away. She is eager to help her friends and takes care of them all, making her somewhat the mother of her group. More often than not, she sees herself as a psychiatrist and tries to encourage the people around her to talk openly about their feelings. She is likewise fair-minded and is the first to give support if someone is in need, regardless of past transgressions or her own dislike, while attempting to understand both sides of an argument to keep the peace and solve the problem. She is also very peppy and an optimist, though it makes her sometimes come off as naïve, and when on a mission she tries to keep the team optimistic as much as she can.

Amy is normally very charitable and thinks of herself as a refined and elegant woman. Underneath her self-described "cute" and "girly" demeanor though, Amy keeps an explosive and scary temperament that is quick to rise up when she feels provoked. This side of her is unforgiving and brutal, especially when she sees others messing with her friends. If pushed, Amy will snap into a vicious, unrestrained and intimidating fit that unnerves friends and foes alike. Contrary to her charitable nature, Amy shows as well occasionally bouts of rudeness, snarkiness and selfishness when looking out for herself. Amy also stands strongly by the ideals of being an independent modern woman and has a distaste for gender stereotypes.

Amy is extremely attached to her hammer, which is her most precious possession. She considers it her whole identity and skillset, and she tends to sink into a hysterical fit and deep depression when she thinks she has lost it for good. Another particular quirk about Amy is her interest in arts and crafts; she can often be found practicing different artforms with elusive materials and has a habit of making decorations out of whatever she has on hand. She also shows a noticeable passion for noble causes such as charities and recycling, which (more often than not) has been exploited by her enemies when they lure her into traps.

Amy is voiced by Cindy Robinson, example of her work can be found here: https://youtu.be/c_qp2mg94EY?t=84

Role assigned to: Bence Valdinger

Ray is a well-known optimist, who often tends to radiate his positivity onto others as a result. Despite being one of the original subjects of Dr. Eggman’s experiments, he never seems to ever get truly upset or give up on anything. It’s unknown how he came to join the Chaotix, but he has been good friends with Mighty the Armadillo for a long time.

While not as intelligent as Tails, for only being 13, Ray proved himself to be an above average mechanic. However, he shows clear signs of ADHD, often being scatterbrained and hyper focusing on one thing before he runs out of steam.

While not a fighter at all, he is a great tactician who can easily escape any situation (Like how he helped Sonic and Mighty escape with him from Eggman when they first met).

The type of voice I’m looking for is something similar to Erica Mendez’s take on Gon from Hunter X Hunter: A medium – high pitched young boy voice with an extremely energetic tone. The example of the voice can be found here: https://youtu.be/dDuD-MQhEKs?t=51

Eggman (Sonic Boom)
closed
Unpaid
Role assigned to: SuperMarioFan Studios

Dr. Eggman is a short-tempered, egomaniacal, outspoken, raucous and pompous evil mastermind with some noticeable sardonic wit. He has all the qualities of a classic villain: he looks, talks, and dresses like a bad guy and has selfish and unmotivated dreams of conquering the world, the destruction of his enemies or both. A would-be tyrant, Eggman has a hunger for power, a thirst for destruction, and as well a desire for attention, adulation and a little respect. Loving to brag, he holds a high view of himself which makes him highly arrogant and gives him a sense of self-entitlement. This attitude has led him to deny his numerous failures (referring to them as practice runs), deem his terrible actions justified, and privatize otherwise public rights. Driven by a constant desire to ultimately enslave the entire world, he is determined to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, even if that means causing meaningless destruction, getting into otherwise awkward situations or joining an enemy more powerful than he is. His uncaring personality is mostly due to his over-inflated ego, as he only views himself with utmost pride.

Complementing his arrogance, Eggman is rather vain. He is very concerned with how he and his robots look and takes great pride in his mustache, which he grooms professionally and would give up his chance at power to preserve. Despite having unlimited resources at his disposal, Eggman can be rather stingy as he refuses to waste more money than needed and always complains when he thinks his money is going down the drain. While sometimes showing the tendencies of a neat-freak, Eggman actually has poor personal hygiene.

Eggman is a complicated guy when it comes to his relationships. While contradictory to his previous villainous exploits against them, Eggman has no trouble cutting loose and having fun with his enemies at appropriate times, whom he can even show a sincere fondness of. In the case of Amy, he remains her enemy on the battlefield, but in their free time they are "Fuzzy Puppy buddies." Though this comradely behavior is sometimes a front he uses to exploit his enemies, Eggman is willing to provide genuine help to his enemies as he believes the "bro code triumphs the enemy thing." Also despite being extremely reliant on his robots, Eggman has a bad habit of mistreating them with his callous attitude and abusive care.

For all his smarts, Eggman is deranged, immature and buffoonish in behavior, and his schemes are usually more zany and petty rather than threatening. Also, despite being a self-proclaimed "man of science," he can just as easily believe in the supernatural, and shows signs of phasmophobia.  Possessing an overly obsessive focus on achieving whatever goal comes to mind, Eggman tends to overlook crucial details in his plans, having more than once risked the entire existence of the world in order to nudge a victory over his enemies or concocted evil schemes that would ultimately mean nothing in the long run.

It has been stated that Eggman used to be full of hope in his youth. However, his years of failures have left him with a more pessimistic attitude. Also, even though he refuses to give up on his ambitions, no matter how many losses he has to endure, Eggman has been known to sink into depression after a particular painful streak of losses. Even if he should be at his lowest however, Eggman is quick to pick himself up once he is struck by inspiration.

Despite his self-proclaimed status as evil and powerful, Eggman's acts of villainy can be rooted from a childlike desire to be acknowledged; if Eggman snagged an legit invite to Sonic's next sleepover, he would consider it a victory. In fact, Eggman is a very lonely man who suffers from an emotional void that he tries to fill out by involving himself in others' lives. This is best exemplified in the complex relationship he has with Sonic. He has also had several less-than-malevolent hobbies and passions that he has enjoyed outside of his villainy, hinting he is not all bad. Most noticeably, he was willing to save the life of Beth the Shrew after the girl had showed him nothing by kindness. It has also been pointed out that Eggman is quite fickle; in the case of D-Fekt, Eggman shifted almost instantly from boasting proudly about D-Fekt's abilities to berating him for being made a failure when his abilities did not work as intended. Similarly, Eggman tends to make mountains out of molehills over the most measly or mundane things when he feels he has been wronged, which he justifies on the grounds that it is the "principle that counts." He also never forgets any grudge he might have.

While Eggman's pride and arrogance are his core parts, they are also his greatest weakness, as they make him far too overconfident and prone to announce his plans prematurely which ultimately leads to his downfall. Excessively self-delusional, he thinks others secretly admire him and only mock him out of jealousy. Also, when feeling upstaged by greater evils, Eggman will devote himself to overthrow his contenders and establish himself as the top villain around. When in situations over his head though, he is willing to abandon his pride to get help, even if it means demeaning himself. He is also laidback and is noted to be somewhat of a doofus as he misses out on great opportunities to eliminate Team Sonic. He also prefers tactics that involve as much destruction as possible (despite how much better a subtle approach would be) and he can pretty much only handle situations in a villainous manner. Because of all his flaws, no one really considers him a true bad guy; however, this also works in Eggman's favor as people tend to underestimate him, which makes him an unpredictable opponent. Eccentrics aside, Eggman is still a highly intelligent, deceptive and manipulative individual under the right circumstances who can play his foes right into his hands and make some very dangerous devices. Also, while things might not always work out for him initially, he is always working behind the scenes to get the upper hand and come out on top.

While I know Mike Pollock also voiced Eggman in Sonic Boom, I specifically want a performance similar to the original actor that portrayed him in the project prior, an example can be found here: https://youtu.be/MhT2OT5KkMQ?list=PL9oiOL0nzOqbSVFHpcG4w6zGGJi0aU36A&t=88

Jet the Hawk

Role assigned to: JespoVoices

Jet is highly arrogant, confident, conceited and holds high standards. He has a massive ego, considering himself the fastest, and holds everyone else in low regard, often bragging about his skills. While he is willing to praise others, he usually makes his compliments short and follows up with an insult. Over time, Jet has matured slightly and become more of a sport as he gave Shadow and Rouge genuine compliments on their skills.

Jet is usually very rude and disrespectful, and has a snide sense of humor. He enjoys insulting others and rubbing his victory or other's losses in their faces. Even when dealing with his own teammates, Jet cites both Storm and Wave with insults and ignores them. Also, when listening to Wave's long-winded talks, he either tells her to shorten her information down and put them in simple terms, or ignores her completely.

Jet is extremely prideful and protective of his reputation, not wanting to look bad. He is also a sore loser and refuses the pity of others as he considers it a direct insult to his character. Regardless, he stands by his losses, even if it was because of unexpected events, and will work hard to overcome them. He also despises those who are faster or more confident than him.

Mostly, Jet is laid-back and nonchalant, though he chooses not to show this to people he does not explicitly know, as he is too prideful to show his less-likable traits. While he knows his duties as leader of the Babylon Rogues, he does not takes his responsibilities very seriously and remains unconcerned in the face of issues. However, he knows when to assert his authority. As a team leader, Jet is strict, has little tolerance for failure and dislikes showing any sign of weakness to anyone. Over time, Jet has become a better leader and leads his team with a better attitude.

Jet is shown to have a very short temper, throwing a fit when a portrait fell on top of him and even twitching with build-up anger. While Jet has become more level-headed in some fields, such as ignoring Wave and Storm's frequent arguments, he is still prone to make angry outbursts at times.

Jet has a defined love for money and treasure, which he likes the most besides himself. His primary motivation in life is to acquire as much wealth as possible, even having daydreams of stacks of gold, and if it turns out there is no profit to be gained from a heist, Jet quickly loses all interest in the matter. When it comes to acquiring wealth, Jet is very greedy and selfish, given that when he went after Eggman to get the Key to Babylon Garden back, it was because he wanted the Treasure of Babylon, rather than stopping Eggman from using it to conquer the world.

Jet enjoys Extreme Gear racing as well as any activity that requires extreme stamina and skill, and takes enormous pride in winning. While extremely competitive and only wanting victory, Jet opposes cheating and strives to win fairly. If he cannot win using his own skills, his victory is meaningless to him, and he will actively seek a rematch to achieve absolute victory. While he may not always show good sportsmanship, Jet enjoys racing worthy opponents and can be content with whatever the outcome may be after a good race.

Cubot

Role assigned to: SuperMarioFan Studios

Compared to Orbot, Cubot is described as the "funbot" and has a rough-edged personality. While not perfect of character, he is loyal by default, though he will only obey orders after being threatened as dictated by his programming. Gruff and gritty like a beat cop, he is very dim-witted and slow on the uptake, having trouble solving a puzzle meant for babies and gets even the simplest of instructions wrong. Nevertheless, he still has his moments of reasonable insight and common sense. Cubot is normally easy-going, though he has shown a violent and aggressive temper beneath his otherwise bumbling exterior; after several failed attempts, Cubot took charge of getting Eggman out of jail "his way", which involved blowing the jail up with a Disintegrator Ray. What separates Cubot from his prototypes is that he learns from his mistakes, allowing him to grow progressively wiser with each experience (if only slightly).

Cubot has at times shown a lot of self-consciousness and low self-esteem. He is somewhat depressed about being a soulless machine, often longing for more in life beyond his service to Eggman, and ponders over whether he has the making of a good minion or is just a redundant comic relief.

At his core, Cubot is a mindless servant. While capable of making his own choices and forming his own personal opinions, Cubot is weak-willed and unable to be alone as he is extremely dependent on others, and having total freedom overwhelms him with anxiety over the concept of choosing for himself. Fearing as well that he will get send to the scrapheap without a role to fulfill, he will ultimately come groveling back to his employer and gladly demean himself as much as he can in order to resume his duties whenever he is left without someone to serve, showing a complete lack of dignity on his behalf. Supposedly, Cubot also has "Bot-holm syndrome" which makes him ultimately agree with anything Eggman says.

Ragna the Bloodedge is the main character of the Blazblue series. Though indirectly, he is responsible for most of the events that caused the timeline loops, including becoming both "The Black Beast" and the legendary Hero "Bloodedge". Ragna's personality is similar to that of a stereotypical Anime delinquent, as he comes off as rude and abrasive to everyone he meets. However, he does have a softer side, as he possesses an extreme amount of empathy, such as refusing to kill anyone, including Terumi, the man that ruined his life. In Central Fiction, Ragna suffers from amnesia, but his personality mostly remains the same.

Despite this, she was able to enroll in the military academy, where she was initially cold towards everyone, until the day she befriended Noel Vermillion and Tsubaki Yayoi. Ever since, one would describe her as a "Loose cannon", she's very extraverted, always speaks her mind even if it lands her in trouble, and fiercely protective of her friends. She isn't one to let her fears get the better of her, proffering to punch first and ask questions later. She is also somewhat of a hopeless romantic, having been in short-lived relationships with men and women before, the only one being close to serious was with her superior, Kagura Mutsuki, which, despite them staying friends many years later, ended when he refused to commit. Kajun Faycott is one of the main characters of the manga BlazBlue: Remix Heart, the manga BlazBlue: Variable Heart and also appears as an NPC in BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Extend and BlazBlue: Centralfiction. She was Mai Natsume’s eccentric roommate at the Military Academy. In reality, she was an undercover agent from Sector 7 that was sent by Kokonoe to obtain the Crimson Grimoire. Kajun recruits Mai to join Sector 7 and they both work for Kokonoe after leaving the academy.

Kajun has a princess-like attitude and an extreme thirst for knowledge. She tries to learn as much as possible, and has developed a habit of collecting information on anything new. The urge to know sometimes drives her into doing odd things, or making others do odd things for her; she even carries a small handbook around to write down everything she ever recorded. This fact does not mean that she is insensitive towards others’ feelings, however. Despite having an odd habit, she is actually good-natured at heart, willingly ate Noel’s death cooking with Mai and created a chance for Tsubaki to be together with Jin, being aware of her feelings.

However, while Kajun does care about her friends she has no compunctions about manipulating them in order to help her with her mission even when those actions put them in danger. Examples of that include convincing the other girls to break into a school building she suspected housed a grimoire while claiming it was to just to investigate a rumor, planting a fake clue during a school contest in order to make the group search for another grimoire and saying that the Azure Grimoire might be able to help Mai to get the other girls to accompany her to a restricted level of the academy.

The Truth Grimoire shows Kajun bearing a grim expression, dressed as a scientist and standing next to Kokonoe, which shows how loyal she is to Kokonoe and suggests that her eccentric behavior might partly be an act.

Hades Izanami is a Major Antagonist in the Blazblue series, and is using the body of Ragna's sister, Saya, as a vessel. She is devoid of all emotion and extremely literal-minded, only smiling when it regards her goals and when her opposition is struggling against her. This being said, she does harbor inklings of friendship towards people she respects, such as Relius Clover. While she sees all living things as beneath her, she often enjoys conversing and casual gatherings, as she views it as a distraction from her role as Death.

She is obsessed with making the world die, a permanent end to the time loops, and will stop at nothing to accomplish her goal. She has little to no concern for her comrades, even to the point of offering Ragna Terumi's head in exchange for joining her side and eventually discarding both Terumi and Relius when they were of no further use to her. Izanami remarks that she can "feel" the strong attachment that the real Saya has towards Ragna. Throughout the series, she constantly mocks Ragna with Saya's voice in a playful manner.

Izanami speaks in a very cold, almost monotone voice, yet still sounds as if she is looking down on everyone and everything. She rarely shows emotion, and speaks with a very slight English accent (Akin to mid-Atlantic). However, she had lost her mind after becoming the phantom, and now wishes to destroy the world, seeing it as the only way to stop the time loops and having to watch everyone die over and over again. Despite her supposedly evil nature and her antagonizing her former loved ones, she only still treats Celica the same.

  • "Ah, Celica! I missed you so much! Come...let's escape this world together!"

  • "Me? I'm already dead. I am but a mere phantom that lingers on in this pointless world. But know this; No matter how many sins you have committed, I will be the one to save you all."

  • "Ragna the Bloodedge. Out of all of the men I hate in my life, I hate you the most. What does Celica see in you that I can't? All I see is a monster that needs to be put down. Yet no matter what I do YOU JUST WON'T DIE!"

Hibiki Kohaku

Role assigned to: Herringbowne

Hibiki is a very complex character, initially introduced as Kagura Mutsuki's right hand man (Who rarely puts up with any of Kagura's nonsense). Being raised in a family sworn to serve under the Mutsuki's, Hibiki hated Kagura at first, and stopped at nothing to one day assassinate him, something the Kohaku family line were masters at. Over the years, the two of them grew a mutual respect for each other, and have a complicated relationship that tips between the edge of platonic and romantic. It's hinted at during the new plot threads of Hibiki not being born male, but he has the respect of most of the cast that they treat him equally.

While he can be cold and uncaring during his time alone, he can have meaningful conversations with those he finds tollerable, and even share jokes.

Hibiki is voiced by Steve Staley in English, with an example being found here: https://youtu.be/3sukaZuPtmc?t=20

However, due to his implied past, this role is available to either actors or actresses alike.

  • "Please, excuse me, sir, but I have the work orders from last night that you oh so neglected to fill out, leaving me to sign each and every one. I hope you realize that your position is no laughing matter."

  • "...And THIS wouldn't be a problem if you didn't always drink, commander Mutuski. You run away from your problems faster than you are in bed. And, yes, before you ask, I do know this fact because you are VERY loud."

  • "A man with confidence shall not lose; only doubt will bring defeat"

Bullet

Likely due to her upbringing, Bullet behaves in a very militaristic and literal manner, taking an aggressive approach to almost everything. Underneath her icy and militaristic attitude, Bullet is actually good-hearted; being able to become relatively close with Bang Shishigami. However, since her usual demeanor is unusually ill-tempered and antisocial, most of the cast are generally unaware of her softer side.  Bullet has very little experience in anything that isn't related to combat, warfare or her own personal history. She doesn't feel ashamed of her outfit even when other characters consider her costume to be very revealing, this is mainly because Bullet doesn't even know what is 'normal' attire and is loyal to wearing her military uniform. Bullet also seems unaware about her attractive figure, even when rude characters make direct references to her.
