A fiery young boy who swims free. He wants to get better so he can beat his friend who moved away. He appears in the first of the four episodes. As he's voiced by a woman using a deeper voice in the original language, the same would be preferred for those auditioning here, especially if he shows up in the upcoming third season. If adult-age men want to try for the role, it's fine, but screechy fake voices aren't acceptable as he needs to sound genuinely of elementary school age.
Before he left, he told me he was gonna show me a way to swim even faster.

Aoba is a first year from Soufuukan High School. His nickname is "The Capybara of the Raging Rapids." His voice should be deeper and intimidating. He's loud, tough, and ready to fight. Gets in a ping pong battle over a capybara plush. He appears in the second of the four episodes.

While he only has a few lines in a short scene, he has to scream a bit at the end. No specific voice type except for adult man is needed, though he should still sound like a normal man to not give away the reveal.
