Fire Emblem Ladies Skill Quote Dubs
Project Overview
Ladies and significant others, so in other words there will be some guys in this casting call too!
A sequel to the Fire Emblem Lords Project I cast for a little while ago, this one will look at those characters who are;
1. Either married to the Lord,
2. Their adviser or close friend,
3. Play an important part in the story,
4. Their sibling
5. Any others who I want to add!
And here are our groundrules!
1. Good acting! - Now if you've played Fire Emblem Heroes you'll know that the skill quotes are very poorly done...it's embarrassing to listen to professional voice actors and actresses sounding so bored. So please, really go for these quotes and don't give us a half-a**ed attempt.
2. Accents! - As fun as it would be to give every series a different accent, I'd like all the characters to have nice North American accents. If you aren't American, fear not! As long as your accent is convincing enough I'll be happy.
3. No time wasting! - Ok, saying "Hey [insert name] here and I'm auditioning for the role of [insert character name] enjoy!" No, no, no! Let's get straight to the audition and not waste any time with boring intros!
4. Feedback! - If you'd like feedback can you please send me a PM.
5. Be nice! - This is to be a fun project. Don't be rude or disrespect one another, or get salty if you aren't cast.
And lastly, although all the characters have English voice actors, I''d like you to give an original take for the characters and not try and impersonate the English VA's. There's no point doing a fandub if we're just going to be impersonating the characters is there?
Also, with regards to casting - no limit to how many characters you can be cast as. Audition for as many characters as you like!

I would rather you go for something like her OAV voice, more tomboyish, rather than the sweeter voice she has in Heroes/Warriros.
Shiida is portrayed as a kind, patient and a forgiving yet headstrong and stubborn individual, a fact that is evident through her interactions with various characters. Her base conversations with the Avatar, for one, sees her patiently guiding them in the art of cooking, choosing to tactfully console them instead of chastising them when they display a disastrous ineptness in making candy. These traits of Shiida's are ones that extend towards her being able to overlook a given person's past and grant them chances to make repatriations. Shiida's relationship with Ogma best illustrates this point, as she, in spite of her reservations over his past life as a barbaric gladiator with an unquenchable thirst for mindless, meaningless battle, chooses to grant him a second chance at life by knighting him as one of her personal guards. When the situation mandates a need for Shiida to be serious however, she can be gravely so, a fact that sees her risking her safety in many a battlefield in order to seek reinforcements to turn the tide of battle in her favour, as is the case when she escapes her home castle in Talys during a Galder Pirate invasion. Bolstering her battlefield tactics, Shiida has been portrayed to be extremely perceptive and to possess a sharp memory.

Faye is defined by her crush on Alm, something which has been present since they were children when he saved her from being killed by Slayde. Her whole world revolves around Alm, and she is always concerned for his safety. The reason she joined the Deliverance was purely to stay close to him as long as possible, and she often remarks that she will "grow however she can" to protect him. Despite this, she knows that Alm's affections are for Celica alone, even before Alm himself knew. While she knows that her love for him will go unrequited, she still dreams of a future where she is together with him and remains as a constant supporter to Alm's ideals and goals.
"I'm not really one for fighting, but Alm joined the Deliverance... so I did too!"
"Oh, Alm... Can't you see how much I love you? "

A headstrong and fearless young noblewoman, Clair has an overbearing nature, which is her one big flaw, not that she pays it any mind. She is also a cheery and sociable individual who loves to interact with any and everyone. She values her impression on others and speaks in an extremely formal and often eccentric manner. In the past, she was somewhat childish and impetuous, and while she has matured since then because of the war, she misses the carefree days of the past.
"I should write letters to everyone back at our family manor. To Father and Mother, of course! But also to all our servants, the maid, and the nursemaid... Oh! And our private tutor, too."
"I just couldn't be prouder of my brother."

Deirdre is humble, kind-hearted, shy and naïve. This unassuming personality of Deirdre's is due to the isolation she has been put through for the most part of her life, a safety precaution put into place to prevent her from being influenced by the outside world. She is aware of her cursed blood and as such is forbidden from being with a man to prevent Loptous's return.
"You want to know more about the world I come from? I'm sorry, but I can't remember much."
"The trees here are very beautiful... There's something mysterious about them. I find it familiar, somehow..."

When she first appears in Chapter 6, Julia seems to be shy and quiet, due to her losing memories of her family. But as the story progresses, she gains confidence in her magical abilities and the courage to fight. It is also noted that she is capable of selflessness by increasing Seliph's magic resistance despite the fact that the spell is known for taking a toll on the caster.
"The Book of Naga...has always seemed both familiar and mysterious."

Nanna first appears alongside Finn and Leif in Leonster at the start of Chapter 7 as a playable ally. It is revealed through her conversation with Diarmuid that Lachesis came to Leonster after the Battle of Belhalla and thereafter left Nanna in the care of Finn, disappearing later to search for Diarmuid. As a result, she grew up together with Leif, lacking any knowledge of her mother's whereabouts.
"It feels a bit strange to suddenly be surrounded by so many people... I should be happy about it, shouldn't I?"
"Oh, Mother... Might I meet you again in this world?"
"Are you hurt?"
"Please... let me heal you."
"I hope you can forgive me."

Lilina is very kindhearted, outgoing, compassionate, and charismatic, not judging people for their skills, origins, or looks. On the other hand, she is also childish, stubborn, and naive to the point of being slightly detached from reality (mentioned in some supports, like those with Garret and Ogier). Lilina herself is quite aware of her flaws, though, and she works very hard to become a good leader like her deceased father, Hector.
"Thank you for all that you do. I feel like we can accomplish just about anything with you around!"
"My friend Roy and I have known each other a long time. We once went to school together. He’s so studious!"

Florina is very shy around the other characters, especially men and archers, not to mention that in her support conversations with Serra, it is noted she is reserved even when talking to women. Such behavior used to affect her far more in the past, as she used to cry herself to sleep every night, and Farina usually ended up making her cry at every practice.
"I just don't have the words to thank you for all you do, but... Um, well...? Thank you, I guess."
"I'm still in training, so sorry if I...? Ugh. Just a big sorry.'"
"Pardon me!"

Ninian is a gentle, polite, and courteous girl, treating all of the people she can support with recognition, respect, and courtesy. However, it is shown that she can also be very brave to protect those she loves and protects, shown when she gives herself up to Nergal to protect Nils. Her speech patterns are also very slow, meaning that she pauses and thinks a lot before she speaks, most likely out of shyness since she's re-adapting to her old home in Elibe, or out of fear regarding other people.
"I know many dances—those for any occasion and a few for special ones. Care to see some?"
"May the dance move you."
"I'd like to help.""Behold my power."

Due to his past with Ostia, Raven becomes distant and anti-social, coldly reminding Priscilla that he is now Raven, not Lord Raymond. Raven seems to despise everyone at first, though it is possible for him to become quite close to Rebecca, Lucius and Wil through support conversations. In his conversations with Wil, he expresses dislike for Wil's new habit of referring to him as "Rave", "Senior" , and "Sir". In his conversations with Rebecca, he repairs her bowstring and she repays him by cooking him a meal. Raven's conversations with Lucius also lead to them growing very close, and he gains a more personable outlook on life, giving up on his revenge plot against Hector. He also converses with Bartre, who constantly challenges him to "duels of strength", which he finds bothersome and, more often than not, tries to avoid completely. Bartre also shows Raven his family tree after Raven teaches him writing. Raven tells Bartre to rewrite it, because he cannot read it.
"Lucius, I want you to go home—so go back, and wait. There's enough going on around here anyway!"
"I have my reasons for fighting, and pushing myself to get stronger, and for getting flexible with weapons."

Much like Libra in Awakening, I'd be happy for girls to try out for him too.
Lucius is very kind and gentle to the other characters, often expressing the faith of Saint Elimine. He almost never conveys anger towards any of them. This includes aggressive and violent people such as Karel, if he interacts with him in their Support Conversation. Likewise, he tries to help others he deems to be suffering, and sometimes at the expense of his own health; Lucius suffers from the effects of past traumatic experiences (that he calls "a spiritual illness"), which afflicts him when he offers relief to people that are emotionally tormented. This makes Raven no exception, who Lucius tries to turn away from blindly taking revenge on Ostia for the destruction of House Cornwell.

"If ever your mind is troubled, please, speak with me."

Innes is extremely brash, arrogant, and proud. He also harbors an intense rivalry with Ephraim that appears to be fueled by his own one-sided envy. However, he is actually a good and just person at heart. He is also a very capable leader, although he is not necessarily charismatic.
"I am no ordinary archer. I am Prince Innes of Frelia."
"One day, I will be crowned king. When that day comes, I will welcome you to my kingdom."

I'd like Tana to have a higher pitched, more child-like voice, instead of the deeper and mature one she was given in Heroes.
Tana joins the army in order to accompany her friends and older brother to war, having trained under Syrene and Vanessa. The circumstances vary depending on which path you take: in Ephraim's path, she runs away from home and is captured when she was tracking Ephraim's group after they leave Frelia, but in Eirika's path, she directly goes to Eirika and asks to join her troops.
Follow my lead, Amelia. If we work together, everything should turn out just fine."
"My brother will have no choice but to acknowledge my skill now!"
"I am a knight of Frelia!"

I would prefer Elincia to have a softer, more gentle voice than the tougher one she was given in Heroes.
As a result of being sheltered from both the court and the community since birth, Elincia has thus picked up an assortment of manual-based skills at the villa she is raised in, such as that of basic household chores. She is also rather respectful towards everyone she meets, regardless of their rank and class. This may be observed through her habit of addressing others with "my lord" in Path of Radiance. This habit of hers is different in the Japanese version of the game, where she adds 様 (sama), a suffix that is used to address individuals of higher social classes, to the names of the individuals she speaks to. Elincia also accentuates a deep loyalty to Crimea as its ruler, as can be observed when she makes the painful decision to sacrifice Lucia in order to retain the country's dignity and honor.

"Could I perhaps ask for your help in practicing in battle? I must do my fair share out there."

Sothe shares a protective, close, and brother-sister type friendship with Micaiah. Due to his childhood life with Micaiah he has an unshakeable faith in her, even to the point he can be a bit of "Micaiah's boss", though that could be due to her leading the army or due to their childhood friendship because she looked after him when he was little.
" I don't care who you are. If you do anything to hurt Micaiah, you'll answer to me. Got it?"
"If you hold strong to your feelings, you will get what you want."
"I've made up my mind."

"I'm fighting for survival!"
"I'll defeat you!"
Because we need more males and Lon'qu is my favourite Awakening character.
He has a cool personality and tends to keep things to himself. His way of talking is direct and somewhat unwieldy, likely from his lack of social grace or his foreign origins of Chon'sin.
Due to the events in his childhood involving Ke'ri, Lon'qu developed gynophobia out of fear of having another woman who becomes too close to him get killed. As a result of his gynophobia, he often gets nervous when speaking with female members of the army; his Event Tile conversations with a female member also support this.
"Would you care to spar? If you have no combat training, you could always throw rocks at me."

"You're no challenge."

The Avatar's history is shrouded in mystery, making them the greatest enigma of the Shepherds. Despite this, the Avatar's skill in war tactics is unparalleled, allowing them to guide Chrom's army to victory over opposing forces greater in number and possibly even experience. They are highly ingenious, creating strategies on the fly and even whipping up "crazy" plans or new war tactics out of pure inspiration. Because of their strategic mindset, the Avatar is highly perceptive to the others' feelings, and can figure out the source of most people's inner turmoils in a matter of a few important conversations. Tiki notes that the Avatar is surprisingly similar to Marth, due to their charismatic nature and ability to befriend everyone they meet.
"Is everyone here a Hero summoned from somewhere else?."
"Do you have a moment to go over tactical options? I'd love to hear your thoughts."

The Avatar is an avid reader of books. They have a penchant for history, but they're also a fan of reading novels as well. While friendly, they have a tendency of getting exasperated over the antics of some of the more colorful cast members. They generally care about the well being of everyone in army, and not just Chrom. For instance, the Male Avatar is deeply concerned about Basilio's well being when the latter admits to venturing outside of the castle walls alone. Though modest to a fault, they are somewhat prideful of their tactical abilities. When Virion repeatedly bests them in a strategy board game, the Avatar is absolutely dejected and then suggests that Virion should be the one to lead the army. They firmly believe in the concept of forming bonds within the army, believing that these bonds make them stronger than if they were to fight separately.
Come, let's discuss tactics together. How would you advance against an enemy formation such as this? Please share your thought process as you go."

Described as a "colourful" character by Lucina, Owain has a habit of speaking in an overly theatrical fashion that most find tiresome and some find endearing. Always eager to engage others in duels, Owain attributes this to his sword hand craving battle, even though this is, in actuality, due to his desire to prove his mettle and improve his combat skills. Moreover, when facing people with actual bloodlust, such as Navarre, Owain quickly drops the act and desperately tries to diffuse the situation upon realizing that he went too far with it.

"Where is my excellent Lord Leo? I ought to be by his side!"

Kaze is my fav so yeah,,,he's here too!
Unlike his more passionate, hot-blooded older twin brother, Kaze is much more cool-headed. No matter the situation, Kaze remains unfazed and calm, even in the face of danger or against some of the more abrasive members of the army. Kaze is also known to be deeply loyal to the people whom he respects. This is best evidenced through his relationship with the Avatar, where, as a result of admiring their vision to reign peace upon the continent, he swears fealty to them and becomes their retainer in their A support conversation. On the Conquest route, this fact is best exemplified through Kaze's radical decision to pledge his allegiance to the Avatar upon learning of their idealistic vision, despite being well aware that he will be branded as a traitor by Hoshido.
