Fallout New Vegas Companion Mod|| Minor roles and others [WIP]

Project Overview

Some of these voice lines will contain profanity and violence, this is why I request you to be at least 18 years old if you want to audition.

Hey, everybody! I need some voice actors for some minor roles for a custom companion quest I'm making.

This mod will contain optional romance. Both male and female couriers can romance Penelope. But you can also decide to couple her with someone else. There will be several candidates from which you can choose from. You get an additional perk if you decide to romance her or matchmake her with someone else.



Storyline
As I don't want to spoil the whole story I will describe where you meet Penelope(the companion). You can find her at the Tops Aces theater without any caps. She will ask you for her help and after a quick quest, she will be your companion. 

Not wanting to spoil it is also the reason why a lot of them have 'improvise' as one of their lines. But that's also because most of their scripts aren't written yet.

  • Deadline has been pushed back several weeks

    Hey everybody! Thank you for your patience! However since suddenly there has been more interest in the mother character I decided to give her a bigger role. But because of that, the other roles had to be given more lines too. Which is why I decided to push back the deadline to give myself more time for the lines, this way the people who get roles can get their lines faster after they've been picked. As I said before thank you for your patience!

    Hey everybody! Thank you for your auditions. But because there are several rolls that still don't have any auditions and the fact that I still need to add a roll I have decided to push the deadline back for a couple of weeks. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Quest

He's a small part of the main quest. Joe is the vendor outside of the Tops. He's a kind man who cares about Penelope despite not knowing her for that long. 

Background
Since he's such a small part you don't have to know a lot about him other than the fact that he's a kind and caring man and that he should sound like that.

  • ''How can I help you?''

  • ''Yes, I know her. Lovely girl. She sold me basically everything she had. Told me that she wanted to make her dreams come true. And what can I say, I’ve always been a sucker for a happy ending.''

  • ''Oh, in that case, she’s lucky. Just a second ago some woman asked me if I sold her things but I said no. It didn’t feel right to sell them. I actually planned to hold onto them until she had enough money to buy it back.''

Background:
She's Penelope's mother and she wants her daughter to come home. Her voice should be motherly and soothing.

  • ''Happy birthday, honey! I hope you have a wonderful day. I'm sorry that I can't be there, but mommy has to do some important business. I love you, sweetheart.'' [Seeing as this is an old holo tape her voice should be younger, make her sound like she's in a hurry. As if she's recording this right before leaving for work.]

Background
She grew up in Freeside and is friends with the Kings. While she tries to not think about the upcoming battle if you asked her she would support an independent New Vegas.

Side-quest
She's one of the people who you can couple with Penelope. Daisy would the tomboy to Penelope's girly girl. Her voice should be a little rougher, but not ghoul-like.

  • ''Come on, princess! It's going to be fun, don't worry about it. And I promise if something does happen I'll be there to protect you.''

  • ''You're not from around here are you? Most people don't go around asking strangers if they need any help. But since you asked, I could use some help.''

  • ''Well, I heard the White Glove Society are cannibals. While I don't believe it, I wouldn't be surprised if they were. Those masks give me the creeps.''

Background

You can find him in the Ultra-luxe as he's a member of their society. He was born into it and he hates it. Luke tries to fit in with the rest of them and normally that works but whenever Penelope is around he fails to put on his mask. 

Sidequest
One of the people you can couple with Penelope. His voice should be just as snobby as the rest of the White Glove Society, except when he's talking to Penelope. When he talks to her he should sound nervous.

  • ''Trying to elevate your status by being seen with me? It won't work.''

  • ''The Kings? They're not bad from what I heard. With that, I mean what I heard from some of the gamblers around here. Seeing as the White Glove Society sees them as nothing but filth. So don't tell them what I just told you. I will never hear the end of it.''

Background.

There isn't much that you need to know about Bill other than the fact that he's a grade A asshole. For that reason, he should have the most obnoxious voice you can think off.

Bill is a small part of the main quest. He has something that he stole from Penelope and you will have to retrieve this from him.

Alexander is Daisy's best friend and a member of the the King's. He's a laid back guy and very friendly. Try to let that reflect in his voice.

This is very minor role and he isn't involved in any of the quests.

Background
The King is an Elvis impersonator who leads a gang called the "Kings," operating out of the School of Impersonation located in southern Freeside in 2281. As he's part of the game he should sound like this.




Side-quest

If this part is filled it will be for a romance side quest for Penelope. The courier will play matchmaker for them.

While she does have a voice actor in the game she doesn't say anything significant. So she doesn't have to sound like how she does in vanilla New Vegas. She should sound feminine but not too high. Her voice should be smooth and seductive.

Jimmy works for the Mojave Express just like the courier once did. For a quest, you'll have to convince him to hire someone. 


He's a happy man so reflect that in his voice.
