Enigma of Amigara Fault Manga Dub
Project Overview
Looking for fellow VAs, preferably versed in the horror genre, to help create a fan dub of the horror manga "Enigma of Amigara Fault" by Junji Ito. I will be voicing the role of Yoshida. This dub will be in English and no accent is required.
Before applying, please be aware that this manga has elements of body horror and claustrophobia (do not apply if you find the material uncomfortable or triggering). I'm asking for applicants to be age 15+ to be on the safe side.

Thank you for auditioning, everyone! The deadline for the project has been extended to allow auditions for roles that still need to be cast.
Owaki is the lead protagonist of the manga. He is highly curious and enthusiastic, but skeptical about the strange phenomenon surrounding the fault. He takes it upon himself to reassure others. Owaki also serves as the narrator. This character could be a teen or young adult.
(Narrating) The fault was deep and went on for miles. This was a sign that even stranger things were about to come...
It's what a lot of people would call a freak of nature...it's got the country, no, the entire world transfixed.
(Alarmed) Someone help! This guy just went into a hole! I don't know if he can get out!
Nakagaki is a man who has come to the fault to find his hole. He is utterly willing to give himself to the fault in order to prove that the phenomenon is real, and eagerly disappears into his hole--the first in the crowd of people to do so. Nakagaki's voice should reflect his eagerness--he has no hesitations about entering, regardless of the danger--but he should also speak calmly, without raising his voice.
So I'm not the only one...
Everyone here is looking for their hole. And...I've already found mine.
I'll prove to you that this is my hole right now. Just watch!
The university professor is present with a team to investigate the holes. He should sound professional and contemplative; he is terribly curious as to what is happening, but can't seem to put a finger on what it could possibly be. This character is an older adult, somewhere between middle-aged and senior.
Even our 30 meter fiber scope can't find the end.
It seems unlikely that these were formed naturally. It also seems unlikely that these holes were dug by humans.
Just what exactly created these holes?
The television reporter should have a typical reporter voice/tone.
More than three hours have passed since a man disappeared into a hole.
It's dangerous, but we have to try.
It's been a full day now since the man's disappearance.
This is the kid from all the memes about this comic (ha). This kid enters his own hole, but unlike Nakagaki, he is terrified and desperate, as if he has no choice. He knows what fate awaits him, but cannot stop himself. The voice for this character should be young (teens), and shout in a shaky and stammering manner. I need an actor that can capture the kid's terror in just a few lines.
This...this hole...this hole was made for me!
I-I have to go in!
Male extra needed for a university student researcher and a rescue squad worker. Slightly different voices preferred, as each have multiple lines.
(student) There's no trace of him within thirty meters!
(rescue worker) Get down before you hurt yourself!
For this role, I'm looking for someone versatile that can do several different voices for members of the crowd.
Hey kid, get down from there!
Help! Over here! Another person just went inside!
Here, too! Quick! Get them out!
