This project includes major themes such as gore, violence, and profanity. Danganronpa: Twist Of Fate is a fangame based off of the Danganronpa series made by Kazutaka Kodaka and Spike Chunsoft. We are in no way, shape, or form trying to promote Danganronpa: Twist Of Fate as a part of the canon series. Viewer discretion is advised.
Summary:
Hope's Peak Academy has just opened a new system called the "Failed Ultimate Rehabilitation Program" tailored to Ultimates who have proven that they're not as good as they used to be. Vanessa Maynard, the Failed Ultimate Model, enters the program in hopes to gain back the popularity she once had. When entering the facility said to "rehabilitate" failed Ultimates, Vanessa loses consciousness and wakes up in a cell with 15 other failed Ultimates. As confusing as the situation already was, a mysterious mechanical doll calling itself "Sally" announces all 16 will be forced into a killing game. As more confusion and uneasiness settles in, Vanessa has to work with the other failed Ultimates to combat despair. Will she succeed or will she fail? Find out in Danganronpa: Twist of Fate.
Casting Call Criteria:
As this is a fanmade project, all roles such as voice actors and artists will not be paid. I'm looking for passionate people with a similar love to Danganronpa as I who want exposure and experience. The minimum age I will allow to audition is 14. If you are auditioning for artist (either sprite lining, color, bg, execution, what have you), you must show at least 3 pieces of work you have created by yourself. If you are auditioning for a voice actor role, don't use the mic built into your computer or headphones. Quality is of utmost importance.
Workload:
Voice actors will receive a workload of voice clips to fully voice trial segments. As this is like a Danganronpa game, some characters will die off more quickly than others, thus, less voice lines are required.

Vanessa, the protagonist of this killing game, the Failed Ultimate Model, is a cheerful gal, always looking for a person to talk to. She's in the program to learn how to gain true fame and to be liked by people. Despite her good looks and booming personality, many seem to dislike her, saying she comes off as annoying and "too much to handle." Seemingly always chipper and ready for anything, she never hesitates going into the action. She has a low-mid pitched voice, like an excited older sister.
(excited) "Hey there! You must want to know who I am right? Well, I'm Vanessa Maynard, the Failed Ultimate Model! (uncertain) Ahahah...despite how excited I am, I'm pretty nervous about this whole 'rehabilitation' thing."
(sad) "Am I really that annoying? I'm sorry...I'll just stop talking then."
(trying to remain calm) "A-alright...I just have to prove that I'm not the killer Vanessa...shouldn't be hard..."
Adam Buckner, the Failed Ultimate Quarterback, had a glowing future as a football quarterback. However with one strong misthrow at a cameraman, giving the cameraman a blind eye, Adam has received much backlash from the media. Adam's quite a chill guy, with a typical "bro" attitude. He likes having a laugh or two with his pals. He becomes cocky and proud when talking about his career as a quarterback, but often cringes when talking about the event that lead him to being a Failed Ultimate. He's a good guy at heart, but he sure has some flaws. He has a low-pitched voice.
(greeting) "Wassup? My name's Adam Buckner, Failed Ultimate Quarterback. (regretful) Yeah...I'm the guy the news has been talking about for weeks. I'm quite famous for the wrong reasons."
(confused) "Woah, what's up with the weird choice of furniture in this place? Isn't this place supposed to be just an extension of the school? Why's it look like a mental asylum?"
(proud and loud) "Oh you wanna know how good of a quarterback I am, eh? I have about 20,000 passing yards and I've only been a quarterback for 3 years! Pretty impressive, huh?"
Sandra Norman, the Failed Ultimate Game Show Host, is quite the talk alongside Adam. Due to controversy saying that Sandra flirted with contestants and rigged the game show in order for the contestants she likes to win, she's been deemed a failed Ultimate. Sandra claims otherwise, but with the media's large amount of evidence supporting it, she can't say anything about it. Sandra's charming, kind, and always willing to lend a hand. She's a calm person, but knows when to loud. She has a motherly tone with a low pitch.
(friendly) "Oh, didn't see you there. My name is Sandra Norman, the Failed Ultimate Game Show Host. Let's not dig into my most recent controversy and just be friends, alright?"
(flirtatious) "Are you sure you don't want to come with me? I can give you a good time, you know~?"
(angrily rejecting) "Hey! I may have interacted with him, but I didn't kill him! Why doesn't anybody believe me?!"
Jason Pittman, the Failed Ultimate Prisoner, has considerably one of the oddest titles. He was deemed a failure due to being figured out as the leader of many riots that have occured in a certain prison. He's in the program to be better at being more discreet and unknown. Jason is quite the ticking time bomb, lashing out at anybody who he considers to be "wasting his time." He's quite tough and smart for a teen, knowing tricks even the most skilled of prisoners don't know. He's quite cocky when it comes to his intelligence and isn't afraid to tell people if they're dumb or not. He has a mid-high pitched voice.
(angry) "What do you want with me!? You clearly see I'm busy- (calmed down, still pissed off) Oh, you just want my name and talent. Jason Pittman, Failed Ultimate Prisoner. Now leave me alone."
(condescending) "Hoooooold on, you seriously think that the murder weapon was a knife? You must be either blind or stupid. The cause of death says blunt force trauma you nimrods."
(cornered) "What do you want from me? I have no information on what this place is nor where we are! Just because I'm a 'bad guy' doesn't mean I'm working with them!"
Michelle Allemand, the Failed Ultimate Tour Guide. Her failure stems from the fact that she has short-term memory loss and has a hard time remembering things the small things. Due to this, she's been unable to answer many a tourist's questions and once she even forgot where to go. Michelle is childish and kooky. She says whatever's on her mind without thinking first. She has a particular interest with historical places, which is why she became a tour guide in the first place. She has a high pitched voice.
(happy) "Bonjour! I am Michelle Allemand, the, regrettably, Failed Ultimate Tour Guide. I hope you don't think of me less because of that!"
(confused) "Oui, I agree that we should search the area, but why go in a group? Isn't it better to spread out?"
(thankful) "Merci, merci! I am not the killer as you all claim me to be! I could do no harm..."
Tremon Burnett, the Failed Ultimate Rapper, or as people know him, NCAA Icey is an interesting case. He got into the rehabilitation program due to a conspiracy where he was using the vocals of a different rapper rather than his own. Even at live performances, he's been accused of lip syncing. Hope's Peak Academy didn't know what was real or not, so they put him in the program. Tremon's a pretty chill guy but he can get quite aggressive. He has a modern-rapper way of speaking with a low-mid pitch. (you don't need to be able to rap but if you can, it'd make a good addition)
(uncaring) "Hey there...Tremon Burnett, Failed Ultimate Rapper. I'm also called NC double-A Icey. You got what you came for...you still wanna talk some mo'?"
(angry) "Ey man as rappers, we don' take shit like that lightly. If you think you can come up in my face and start roastin' me you best believe I'mma knock the shit out of you."
(rejecting) "Killa? Maaaan you trippin'. I have an alibi dude. Even if I wanted to murder his ass I couldn't."
Dolores Beasley, the Failed Ultimate Waitress, was deemed a failure for a variety reasons. First she was said to have stolen tips that other waiters and waitresses were supposed to receive, second she's argued with customers, making the image of the restaurant she worked at look bad. The list can go on, but those were the two main reasons. While respectful and kind at first, Dolores is bashful and ignorant. She will start arguments to whoever says she's wrong. She has a mid-pitched voice.
(greeting) "Hello there, my name is Dolores Beasley, the Failed Ultimate Waitress. It is a great pleasure meeting you. I hope we can be...good friends."
(angry yelling) "In case you're blind, stupid, or possibly both, I'M PULLING ALL THE WEIGHT OF YOU STUPID IDIOTS! YOU'RE ALL DAWDLING WHILE I'M ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE!"
(cocky) "Me, a killer? Pah! Vanessa, you already why I'm not the killer. Do show all these numbskulls the evidence."
Alpha-1, the Failed Ultimate Hitman, is in the rehabilitation program for classified reasons. Nobody, not even Hope's Peak Academy staff know why he's in there. Cool, calm, quiet, and collected, Alpha-1 is a man of little words. When he does talk though, he often sounds tired and unmotivated. He has a mid-pitched voice.
(uncaring) "Alpha-1...Failed Ultimate Hitman."
(explaining) "I'm not a bad guy...I just get requested hits from bad people...I'm just trying to help my family..."
(tired, but still trying to refute) "You accuse me as the killer...? Just because I have the skills to do it...doesn't mean I would. I'd need money to execute the hit."
Sarah Atchley, the Failed Ultimate Pyrotechnician, got into the rehabilitation program for the reasons you'd expect them to be. Her pyro-work on a large event got out of hand which ended up getting many hurt. That, however, was intentional on Sarah's part. How she's not in jail is due to Hope's Peak Academy putting her in their rehabilitation program. Cynical and insane, but quite childish, Sarah claims she won't stop setting flames until everything burns in front of her. She believes that the world is a playground for her to toy with, and that nobody can stop her fire from spreading. She has a mid-high pitched voice, like a child. (do keep in mind she's a teen so don't sound entirely like a child)
(controlled insanity) "Nyahahahah~...Oh, hello there! My name is Sarah Atchley...Failed Ultimate Pyrotechnician, though, I wouldn't call myself quite a 'failure,' nyahahah~."
(angry) "Boring, boring! Why won't you let me get a hold of that gasoliiiiiine! I just need a cup or two!...or more depending on how much it'll take to burn Sally to ash!"
(slowly becoming more and more insane) "My my...you finally have come to accuse me, (fake cutesy voice) the innocent little child, (back to regular voice) as the killer? You're all so SO stupid...if you wish to choose me, then go ahead! I will laugh as you ALL PERISH FROM THE HELLFIRE I WILL RAISE FROM MY HAND!
Marcus Danielson, the Failed Ultimate Factory Worker, has a pretty minute reason for being initiated into the rehabilitation program. He didn't follow dress code set by the factory owner at the factory he worked at. Marcus is an honest hard worker with a strong work ethic. When he does something, he won't stop until he finishes the task. He won't let anything or anybody get in his way. He'll put off events and meetings just to finish his work. He has a low-pitched voice, and acts as the dad character of this Fangan.
(greeting) "Ah, good to meet you! My name is Marcus Danielson, Failed Ultimate Factory Worker. My reason for being here is quite stupid but...well, here I am."
(pushing someone off) "Sorry, but I'm working right now. Can't hangout. Maybe try Tremon (trey-mon), he looks to be in a good mood."
(confused) "Hey, why am I the killer again? I haven't been paying much attention. All this trial stuff is making my head spin."
Cherlynn Waters, the Failed Ultimate Jazz Musician, was initiated into the rehabilitation program due to her unfortunate unlucky streak. She had been carrying the art of jazz for 8 years just to lose fans over Failed Ultimate Rapper NCAA Icey. Her playing had been getting worse, and she was placed in the program to prove herself worthy again. Cherlynn is a generous and caring person. She wants everyone to feel loved even if she herself isn't being loved. She believes that what goes around comes around and that her good deeds will reward her in the future. She has a mid-pitched voice with a sassy tone.
(greeting) "Hm? Oh hey there! The name's Cherlynn Waters. Pleasure to meet'cha baby. I'm the Failed Ultimate Jazz Musician. It doesn't roll off the tongue well, I know."
(raising the spirit of someone else) "Hey sugar, don't let that buffoon insult you like that. You're better than what he said, alright? Tell him what the deal is!"
(desperate) "People, I'm not the killer! I was just playing some jazz in my room! Vanessa, you heard me play, right?"
Lucas Vaquero, the Failed Ultimate Romance Novelist, was initiated into the rehabilitation program due to his novels being a little too erotic for the common reader. His interest in the chemistry of love along with his incredible writing prowess makes his novels an incredible read. It's best to overlook the erotic parts because the details are astoundingly specific. He's a charming young man who holds himself to a high standard. He's very flirtatious, often shooting his shot with every girl he interacts with at some point. Deep inside, he's a huge coward. He has a mid-high pitch with a slight Spanish accent.
(greeting) "Hola, my name is Lucas Vaquero, the...Failed...Ultimate Romance Novelist. (cocky) You should read one of my novels sometime. I'm sure you'd enjoy one.
(flirtatious) "Hey. How about you and I go out for dinner sometime? (nervous)...Once we're out of the program though, I don't think they let ditching off lightly."
(scared for his life) "Me, k-killer!? No! I'm not the killer! What can I do to prove it? I-I'm sure there has to be some evidence proving otherwise, right?"
Tanya Fahrenbach (fair-en-back), the Failed Ultimate Army General, has built up quite the reputation due to getting into the army at the mere age of 7. Now 11, and currently the youngest in the group, Tanya's total body count and seemingly impossible to beat strategies are hard to overlook, especially a girl at her age. Her analytical skills and views of every human having a "level of excellence" has made Tanya pick out the best soldiers in any given situation with every enemy plan being shutdown due to Tanya's readiness. She was deemed a failure due to being way too harsh and pushy on everyone, making some recruits resign and having the military leader nearly discharge her. A bossy, blunt, confidently mean girl, Tanya isn't afraid to tell you how bad you are at what you do. Acting quite like a hateful adult, Tanya doesn't act like a child whatsoever. She does have a sweet spot for those she somehow befriends. She has a slight German accent with a mid-pitch.
(serious) "Attention all you maggots! I am Tanya Fahrenbach, known as the Failed Ultimate Army General! I implore you all listen to what Sally has to say. It may prove useful in our escape."
(angry yelling) "Stupid! You're doing it all wrong! You're not supposed to hold a gun like that you einzeller! Must I say it one thousand times to you!? You hold the pistol's trigger with your main hand, then use your other hand to grip the bottom!"
(calm/cocky arguing) "Oh, you say I'm the killer? I made sure I had all my bases covered both yesterday and the day before that. I was with people every hour, every minute, and every second of those days. I could not possibly have an opportunity."
Cole McKnight, the Failed Ultimate Comedian, rarely gets any laughs nowadays. He used to be famous for his stand-up comedy but recently his jokes have been recycled and overused. It's hard for him to find a captivated audience. Cole is a generally fun guy to hang around. He knows how to humor people, start conversations and be an overall great friend. Loud and boisterous, he just never knows when to stop talking. Like Vanessa, many say he's annoying, but he gets publicly humiliated. He has a mid-pitched voice.
(greeting) "Hey, you seem like a nice person. My name's Cole McKnight, Failed Ultimate Comedian. Now isn't that ironic? An Ultimate Comedian that's unfunny...oh irony..."
(telling a joke) "Oh, I have a good joke. Why do we tell actors to break a leg? Because every play has a cast. Eh? Ehhhh? C'mon, not even a pity laugh?"
(rejecting) "Woah, woah woah woah, woah! Did you just accuse ME of being the killer? What could I possibly do besides swing my arm and then hit the wall?"
"Joy" or HSB-V12 (Human Simulation Bot Version 12), the Failed Ultimate Artificial Intelligence, was designed by a company that would like to be anonymous. She could perform daily tasks a human could, but much faster with the built-in tools she has. She has a self-defense mode for criminals and intruders with many non-lethal weapons. She was deemed a failure after going rogue and ever since, she wasn't found, until Hope's Peak Academy grabbed her. Joy just needs friends to help her go through life. She's very impressionable, picking up personalities, mannerisms, and speech patterns very easily. The VA has to have a wide range in terms of pitch.
(monotone mid-pitch) "Greetings. I am model HSB-V12. Please register name. 'Joy.' Are you sure of this name selection? Confirmed. Initiating human system version 12.
(high-pitched/child-like, excited) "I'm so glad I get to be a part of this group! You all look so fun! I hope we get to know each other more!"
(low-pitched, dramatic/sad) "Oh, you think I am the killer? You are wrong. Wrong I say! I couldn't do any harm...despite my laser cannons and buzz saws."
Scarred by the effects of war, Scott Galloway, the Failed Ultimate War Veteran has been gotten into the program for several unfortunate reasons. Scott was an amazing soldier for his time in the army. After his resignation however, Scott grew intense paranoia of the people around him, to a point where he shot someone running straight at him. He was sent to prison and during his time there his house was robbed completely, leaving Scott homeless. The rehabilitation program was his only place to go. Scott's normally a chill dad type character, being the oldest in the group. He loves cracking jokes and he tries to help everybody he can. He gets quite angry when you bring up his dark past. He has a low-mid pitched voice.
(greeting) "Hey there, my name is Scott Galloway. I'm the Failed Ultimate War Veteran. Try not to think of me as your superior, but as a fellow classmate."
(confused) "Wait a minute, you're nominating me as group leader? I mean, sure I may be the oldest and have the most experience, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't consider the rest of you."
(breaking down, talking to self) "I'm not the killer...I...I couldn't kill someone...after the incident with the man on the street I couldn't...I couldn't have killed anybody, right? Please God...I didn't kill anybody, right?"
Sally, the "Headmaster" of the Failed Ultimates Rehabilitation Program and conductor of the killing game is quite the oddball. A real life doll, masterminding a killing game isn't something you see everyday. Despite her child-like appearance and voice, he's quite sarcastic and rude, cutting people off in the middle of talking and intentionally patronizing the Failed Ultimates for their failures.
(cheerful) "Hello all! Welcome to the Failed Ultimates Rehabilitation Program! I am your wonderful headmaster, Sally. Please report to the main room and take a seat!"
(patronizing) "You actually thought you'd be 'rehabilitated?' What a joke! You're all failures who deserve death, hence why you're all going to be in a killing game! Isn't that fun?"
(angry) "Oh stop whining! You knew the consequences of murdering so why are you still crying!? (mean) You humans never cease to make me disgusted...well, off to the execution you go~!"
Yui Nakashima, the Failed Ultimate Strategist, is in the rehabilitation program for a good reason. In a recent war between two nations, Yui was sent to give the Japanese army a flawless strategy to attack the opposing nation with. Yui, carefully devised a unique plan, but sent it in too late as the opposing nation had already come in for the attack. Yui is a serious woman, to a point where many jokes and sarcastic comments fly way over her head. Being a military woman, she values respect and dignity the most and would rather die honorably than live disgraced. She has a low-pitched voice.
(serious) "Hello, my name is Yui Nakashima, the Failed Ultimate Strategist. As a failure, I promise to improve myself and to try and assist others in their improvement."
(explaining) "To put it simply, you should attack the enemy when they're at their most vulnerable, but your attack plan must still be unpredictable to assure success."
(passionate) "I would rather die honorably than live disgraced! I did not kill them or will I ever!"
Kentaro Shibata, the Failed Ultimate Jujitsu Master, was sent in the rehabilitation program simply because he lost a match. He believes that loss strengthens a person, but Hope's Peak Academy still decided to put him in there. Believing that sticking to moral code is the best way to live life, Kentaro trains daily in order to perfect his jujitsu. Some practitioners of jujitsu say practicing more from the level Kentaro at is useless, but he doesn't really care much for what they have to say. Calm and alluringly humble, Kentaro is a strong believer that a man is made up by what he believes in, and the things he does in life. He has a mid-pitched voice.
(greeting) "Ah, greetings. My name is Kentaro Shibata, the 'Failed' Ultimate Jujitsu Master. I do hope our bonds may strengthen in this enlightening journey."
(speaking words of wisdom) "As a wise man once said, if you let a man hurt your skin, you will break his bones. Patience is everything after all."
(regretful) "I...have nothing to say against these allegations for I have nothing else to prove."
Amy Holcomb, the Failed Ultimate Robotics Engineer, has had many problems in the past. All her inventions seemingly malfunction for odd reasons. They were all crafted with care and delicacy, but in the end, they just don't function. She's quite the shut-in girl who doesn't like interacting with people. She has major anxiety and tries too hard to look good. However, she does have a sweet spot for her friends who she talks very happily with. She has a slight Russian accent and has a high-pitched voice.
(scared) "D-dah...hello...my name is Amy Holcomb, F-Failed Ultimate Robotics Engineer. I hope the fact I'm a failure doesn't make you think less of me..."
(happy) "A-are you interested in the field of robotics too? Machinery is just so interesting, isn't it?"
(desperate/very sad) "P-please no! I'm not the killer...I-I'm too weak to even throw a punch! H-how could I kill them? *crying*"
