Retrying the Fangan thing, so here we go! Synopsis and rules for auditioning below.
Synopsis: Game One of the Danganronpa Chaos Series, Danganronpa: Inevitable Melancholy stars 21 Hope's Peak Academy students trapped in the dark abandoned amusement park AsoKage Amusements, kept prisoner by Myanka, the android cat girl who tells them they can only escape if they murder their classmates! Will they escape the park or is this a rollercoaster of death and chaos?

Things to Note Before Auditioning/Rules
- Writing is currently on the chapter one stage!
- This will probably have a bit more voice acting than the average Danganronpa series but I hope it will not be too overwhelming.
- Character Art is all done, CGs will be done as we get to them.
To audition:
- Please have decent audio. I understand that mics may not be the best in the business, but please don't audition with crackly audio, lots of background noise, uneven or popping/peaking audio.
- You MUST have a Discord, all updates will be given on Discord so we kinda need it to go forth.
- Please be committed. This will be a lengthy process, but I hope that you will stick around for the ride.
Azariah Senoue is your typical hipster, with a musical streak to boot. He's got the sarcastic streak down pat and his fashion is justly hipster to match his attitude. He's normally calm and laid back but comes off as easily annoyed just the same. Raised in Britain, he's quite the addition to Hope's Peak Academy. Identifies as non-binary (He/They pronouns)
Voice is mid-range, and seems to have a bit of an edge to it. British accent preferred but not required if you cannot manage it.
My name is Azariah Senoue, SHSL Indie Musician. I understand if you've never heard of me. It means it's working.

Brynja Saito is your average girl who just so happened to get a spot at Hope's Peak due to her talent with AMV Editing. She tries to keep a happy attitude, but lately she's been a bit depressive and anxious, no one quite understands why. Regardless, she'll hopefully be able to get to the bottom of this mystery!
Voice is mid to high range, with a bit of a stammer in some lines. Tends to speak quieter but she is by no means a quiet girl. She's Icelandic but no accent is required for this role.

Daisuke is a very quiet and somber individual. With a sharp wit and a stern gaze, he has an incredible knack for kendo and a level head when it comes to the blade, almost like an actual samurai. Not much is known about Daisuke's personal life, but his kendo abilities are unmatched by any in his weight class.
Daisuke has a calm and deep voice. He speaks softly and with a calm air, even when things get desperate, but he has a breaking point where his voice may shake. No accent necessary.

Hikaru Kobe is optimistic, kind and willing to help at any opportunity. With his varied array of musical instruments he can play, he's considered a musical prodigy, able to play nearly any instrument he gets his hands on. He and Tsuki are definitely HPA's cutest couple and they are nearly inseparable.
Hikaru's voice is mid-range, with an excitable quality to it. Basically a golden retriever if it had a voice. No accent necessary.

Jun Hishida is very excitable, to the point of rambling and seems like he would be a delinquent at first (considering his talent) but really he's just a big dork. Most of his graffiti was done for charity murals and art pieces for important people, so he's highly regarded in his field. He's a demiboy (He/They pronouns) so anyone could realistically audition for him.
Jun's voice is high to a high middle style of pitch, and he tends to speak very quickly and in long winded bursts. No accent required and anyone (male/female or otherwise) may audition but a nonbinary voice actor/ess would be interesting!

Kamiya Kurosawa is a very quiet and very tired individual. She's rather reclusive, often spending hours at night coding for her various MMO RPG games, patching bugs and the like. She ought to sleep more, but she probably will not. After all, thousands of people play her games, she can't let bugs slip through the cracks. She is a trans girl, so I would appreciate it if a trans actress could audition for her.
Kamiya's voice is quiet and tired sounding, and sometimes a bit scratchy from late nights and HRT shots. She can sound a bit whiny sometimes when mentioning needing sleep or if anyone gets too loud around her. No accent required but a trans actress would be preferred.

Kin Takada is rough and tumble but doesn't speak much. When they do, it's often sarcastically witty and will go for the kneecaps. They're extremely interested in history, and their main focus is on Ancient Egyptian Culture. Their very well known in the field and have made significant finds that have changed the scope of history as a whole. Their gender identity is a major plot point in their arc so I won't be revealing pronouns but anyone male/female/otherwise may audition.
Kin's voice is higher but with a coarse edge to it, often with a biting taunt to some of the words they say. No accent is required, and anyone of any gender may audition.

See that's where you're wrong. Tut didn’t die in war, if anything he died a horrible sickly painful death with his ugly cleft palate, crippled leg and other inbreeding problems on top of the many illnesses he got.
Kohaku Miyamoto is very timid and stammering, which is surprising due to his tall and thin stature. He's rather jumpy as well and does not do well being touched. He seems to have quite the past but will not open up to anyone about it. Many fans of his current story Neon Boy theorize that he has been hinting at what he dealt with through Kazu's character arc but that remains to be seen. After all, the story is such a departure from Haru No Jinsei, it can't be a coincidence can it?
Kohaku's voice is mid to higher range (with a bit closer to middle), is rather soft and has a bit of a stutter to it. He often trails off in sentences as well. If panicked, his voice can get much louder and shake quite a bit.

Kou Beckett is a small and timid individual. With a big heart and a therapy dog by his side, he hopes to make people feel better with his various herbal blends, whether you're suffering from illness, fatigue or just a bad day. He seems to have quite the past as well, but maybe it's best you don't ask. Kou is a trans boy so a trans actor would be preferred.
Kou's voice is on the higher end and is rather soft but quietly optimistic, even if he's scared easily. British accent preferred but not required, and a trans actor preferred as well.

Kyoko Togami is rather timid but still has a sarcastic spit to her words, even if it's surrounded by stutters. Think the Fukawa treatment but a little softer. Her poems are widely celebrated by millions of readers, so it's no surprise she's great at creating words. She just.. can't speak them aloud that great.
Kyoko's voice is mid-range with a stutter. Her voice often has a sarcastic bite to it, but she can still be easily frightened. No accent required.

Madoka Watanabe is short and to the point, in more ways than one. They don't tend to speak without thinking and are often level headed. It's a wonder how they see through that mop of hair though. But the amount of acclaim they've gotten from their designs cannot be wrong. Madoka is agender so anyone from any background may audition.
Madoka's voice is mid-range with a biting quip to it. No accent is required.

Meghan O'Reilly is loud, coarse and full of spite and vinegar, sure to kick your ass if you get on her bad side. And those legs are sure to kick anyone's ass, she's not the Ultimate Irish Dancer for nothing. Her trophies and blue ribbons are nothing to sniff at. Just be careful about messing with her. Meghan is a trans girl so a trans actress would preferred but if you can't do that AND the accent it's understandable.
Meghan has a mid-range kind of gruff voice, and is often loud and angry. An Irish accent is preferred but not required (as is the bit about a trans actress, as it's okay if you're not both).

Ryo Asahi is a grade a bastard, with a cursing streak and a loud mouth to match. He might have a height complex but it's easily overshadowed by his talent on the court. He's simply unmatched at free throws and is one of the best point guards in his age range. He's definitely on the scope for being drafted for the NBA! ... If he can get that attitude sorted out anyhow.
Ryo's voice is mid-range to deep, and he yells and curses a lot. A Canadian accent is preferred but not required.

Ryoichi Takara is nosy, sarcastic and ready to get down to the bottom of whatever scoop is happening! Journalistic integrity is high on their list of important traits and they will not tolerate lies and slander, that's for the tabloids, he's here for the NEWS. He's broken many top rated and hard hitting stories, from political corruption, to riots in South America, to famine in Africa, he will get all of the details out.
Ryoichi's voice is mid-to-high-range and can be a bit nasally. My friend sees John Mulaney and if you can do that, I may just cast you because it makes me laugh. No accent required.

San Molynuex is huge, and intimidating and can curse up a storm if he feels like it, but he has a softer side and tends to look out for the little guy. His band Winter Graves has monumental success, said to rival some of the big names in Punk like The Buzzcocks and The Ramones, though what really sells is their use of multilingual lyrics, integrating Japanese and French into their lyrics.
San's voice is lower with a bit of gravel to it, and he seems intimidating just from his voice. A French accent is preferred but not required. (His singing voice canon in my head is the lead singer of the band Fame on Fire from Youtube)

Shigeru Kazuhiro is a bit of a scatterbrain with his head in the clouds, and is definitely the oldest one here having been held back a couple times. Regardless of his lack of spatial awareness and perhaps some would say brains, his knack for archery is unmatched, and he's able to hit bullseyes with record finesse!
Shigeru's voice is on the lower end of the range with a bit of a laugh to it, as he doesn't take things very seriously. But when things get real he gets scared very easily. Like Hagakure but maybe not so weird. No accent required.

Shiiria Murasaki is very high and mighty when it comes to her outward appearance but underneath is an anxious girl not ready for the weight of being Queen. Her country may be small but the impact that it has on the neighboring countries is high, so her anxiety is not to be discounted. It must be hard being royal.
Shiiria's voice is high pitched with a scoff of dignity. Kinda World-Is-Mine Miku but not QUITE that high. An accent similar to Sonia's would be nice (since they're both vaguely European) but it is by no means required.

Tatsuya Harada is excitable and caring, but also very anxious at times and a bit more tired than he lets on. He always seems to be working, but it's in the name of science. He's made leaps and bounds in the world of robotic technology, though it's rumored he's planning a project that might shake the core of the medical technology field!
Tatsuya's voice is mid-range with a bit of excitable geek to it. He rambles a bit at times when he's excited, and seems to be a bit more tired than he lets on. No accent required.
Of course, I'm Tatsuya Harada! SHSL Robotic Technician! Are you familiar with any of my work? I was behind that huge breakthrough that made robots be able to show emotion like qualities! It's still a work in progress of course...

Tohru Sawamatsu is stern and to the point, albeit a bit cold to her fellow classmates. She's utterly unmatched when it comes to her precise knowledge of the inner-workings of the mind and acts with precise movements, thinking what she says thoroughly before speaking and is always there to get to the bottom of what's going on. However, she doesn't seem to be as willing to address the issues she herself is going through, and that puts a rift between her and anyone who tries to get close to her.
Tohru's voice is low to mid range and soft but calculating. Similar to Kirigiri but with a bit more emotion to it. No accent required.

(a pause) Don't be alarmed by my knowledge, Saito-sama, I've done extensive research on our classmates prior to entry at Hope's Peak for any criminal activity that might be troubling. You've come up clean.. for criminal behavior I mean.
Regardless, we should calm down and think about this more rationally. There’s no need for us to panic.
Saito-sama I simply cannot face what has happened back then, the current situation is not a conducive environment to focus on former traumas. We must focus on the current situation, and maybe once things are more calm we can delve into the past. But it is not my current goal.
Tsuki Kota is loud, proud and totally confident in herself! She's unmatched in making people who come to her happy, and she's happy with Hikaru just as much. She's always there to listen when you need a shoulder to cry on and will totally back you up if you have boyfriend troubles.
Tsuki's voice is higher but not super high and she always has a bit of a grin to her voice unless she gets really scared or stressed. It's hard to break her but it could happen. (I do also kinda see her voice claim as Panty from Panty and Stocking (English Dub) but this is not required at all.)

Usagi Yasuhiro is very calm and collected but also excitable and bright, just like her many paintings. Her watercolor pieces stun and bring joy to critics and the casual fan alike, and create words when she herself cannot. Being mute doesn't stop her creativity and she hopes to bring joy to everyone around the world. After all, art is a field that can be enjoyed no matter the language.
Since Usagi is mute, the 'voice' that she gives is through her sign language, so the words should be spoken as if it's being translated through her signing. As such it's more of a focus on the style of voice rather than the actual sound of voice, but if I had to give an actual vocal range, it'd be higher but soft in tone.
