Hello! My name is Michael, and I have a small YouTube channel called MikeandAMic (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJlTf9h9XqnLRNAsrRRVaKA), where I have recently uploaded my second Anime in Minutes for Call of the Night and was a success! And this time I will be working on a parody version of Chainsaw Man!! It's pretty much a parody that also works as a summary of the series. It used to be a popular series called Anime IN MINUTES, inspired to me by a famous YouTuber named 'Gigguk'! And now I'm just trying out my own version of it.

IMPORTANT:
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is January 23rd, 2023 (11:30 PM EST). However, there is always a chance I may extend the deadline depending on how this goes! I will notify voice actors cast in roles within 24 hours of being selected and send scripts to voice actors the same day. Depending on the characters, I will request voices to be submitted within (roughly) 1-3 weeks.
NOTE
I am prioritizing voice actors who can show emotion and energy more than sounding like the original VAs. After all, this IS just a parody video! Although of course, similarity to the originals will be a bonus.

First all, let me just say WOW this was the most difficult decisions I've ever had to make, and it's not even close. After all, I did spend like 3 days just picking everyone lol.
I was expecting 200-250 auditions, but a resounding 620+ is beyond me...

I was expecting somewhere around 200-250 submissions but to think it'd surpass 600 is beyond me...
Really glad to see so many interests in this project! And I have already listened to a few and I can already tell it is going to be incredibly difficult to choose from myraid of you talented folks.
Can't wait to starting working with the selected few, and I do hope that you guys will be there for the finished product! Should be done around early March.

The main protagonist of the show.
Denji is poor. Like, sell-your-body-parts poor.
He is a brash and naive high-schooler who works as a Devil Hunter to pay off his father's debts.
Widely regarded as one of the crazier characters, Denji is willing to do just about anything to achieve his goal(s). He is also very infatuated with Makima.
Denji will likely be screaming frequently, so please take good care of your throats!

Aki generally appears to be a very stoic person. He acts mature and sometimes blunt to the point of rudeness when he is with his fellow Devil Hunters, but he is actually fairly softhearted. He takes his job very seriously and gets annoyed when he sees someone who does not.

Maybe my kindness isn't getting through to you... Ones who go into this job for shallow reasons end up DEAD, kid. The only survivors are those who have strong conviction. (Trying to convince Denji to quit)

Deuteragonist of the show.
Power is childish, greedy, and almost entirely self-motivated. Power also enjoys the thrill of a fight and enjoys showing off her strength and proving her own superiority. She is also rude, unkempt, and a compulsive liar.
Power is, however, very afraid of Makima and obeys her without question.

A beautiful woman in her twenties that is also a high-ranking Public Safety Devil Hunter.
On the surface, Makima seems to be a nice, gentle, social and friendly woman, she is seen almost the entire time wearing a smile on her face and acts relaxed and confident even during a crisis, speaking in a professional tone to her workers.

Did you forget? You're my pet. Only answer with "yes" or "woof". I don't need a dog that says "no". I heard from an acquaintance that useless dogs get... euthanized. (Slightly threatening, smooth voice)
If Denji ever quits or disobeys orders... he'll be put down as a 'devil'....... It means we'll be working together until death do us part. (Explaining Denji's role)
Denji. I think... naughty things feel better the more you know your partner. First, take your time studying her hands... how long are her fingers...? How are her ears shaped? Memorize it, so even if you lost your sight, you'd recognize me by touch. (Trying to teach Denji about romance)

Himeno is a very happy-go-lucky person who is shown to be a mature and experienced superior to the new recruits working under her. She generally carries herself with upbeat body language and was capable of staying calm under extremely stressful situations. She is also however very pessimistic of the world and can be stern around new recruits.

Kobeni lost her damn mind and tried to drink toilet water... that poor girl... so I knocked her the fck out! (Sound worried and then progressively "happy" at the end)

Kishibe is a stoic, straightforward individual. Due to his immense strength and skill, he often undertakes his work with a calm formality, displaying little emotion as he does so.
Though he sometimes expresses emotions such as surprise and sadness at certain events, his face and voice remain entirely neutral.
His voice mostly should sound like he's bored or depressed. Maybe both?

A minor but pivotal antagonist. He is a member of the Yakuza who uses Denji as a devil hunter in order to offload his debt due to his dead father unable to pay it, and is a scummy old man who sold his soul to the Zombie Devil and betrayed Denji just to get what he wants.
