Casting Call for 2nd Year Animated Film
Project Overview
Hello, this is for my 2nd year independent animated film at SVA. The plot follows a girl trying to get to school, but strange obstacles get in her way.
If you get the role, you'll be credited and I can send you a copy of the film if you want! Also, the lines will be given in the form of the storyboard w/ the lines highlighted due to the lack of a proper screenplay.

Morgan is the protagonist, a middle schooler trying to be on time to avoid detention. She is a perfectionist and people pleaser, but frustrations show a new side to her.
Mom, could you give me a ride to school today? If I'm late, the teacher will... (pause) Nevermind...
(excitedly) I made it! I'm here!
(defeated, desperate) Noooo!
Morgan's strict teacher that expects her to arrive on time. Stern with a strong belief in order and appearing the best. Has an androgynous appearance, so open to a wide range of voices.
(scolding) Your grades are perfect, but your punctuality is lacking.
(stern) Morgan, you are a model student, and it pains me to say this, but if you are late one more time... You will get a detention.
You're late.
