Captain Jeremy (Full title TBA) is a point-and-click psychological horror game, with gameplay inspired from the classic 90s adventure games such as Pajama Sam, Sam and Max, and The Secret of Monkey Island.
The story follows Jeremy, a lonely young boy living with his divorced mother. His only companions are his beloved toys, Mr. Winslow, Silly Abby, Lazy Humphrey, and his favorite, Private Bugsy. Together, they embark on imaginary adventures, with Jeremy proudly taking on the mantle of Captain Jeremy, forever battling his nemesis, The Mad Scientist.
One night, after playing pretend and being sent to bed by his mom, Jeremy wakes up to find Bugsy missing, and a stranger in his room. This stranger tells him that Bugsy was stolen by the Mad Scientist and taken to his lair deep in the woods.
With his friends in hand, and being led by this mysterious stranger, Jeremy goes on an adventure to rescue Bugsy. However, this is far from a normal adventure and is much darker than it seems.
This is a short project in terms of voice acting, with some characters only having a few lines of dialogue. Payment for these characters are lower than the regular rate and will be indicated in their role description.

You have to be 18+ to apply.
Payment for the role will be through Paypal.
Please submit the submission in a suitable file format (mp3, wav, etc)
Along with submission please provide your Discord username. This will be used for communication.
Make sure there is no background noise in your audio submission and that the audio is clear.
Dialogue has been provided for each role.

Hello everyone.
This is a reminder that the application for submissions will be closing in 2 days, on November 1st, 12:00AM EST.
Currently only 3 roles remain, the main leads for Jeremy, The Stranger, and Mr. Winslow. Unlike the side characters, these roles will be chosen after the 1st.
All 5 side characters have been chosen. I had a really hard time choosing as there were many great submissions. I want to thank everyone who auditioned, it's really appreciated.
The main protagonist of the story. A young and naive child with a very imaginative personality. His main friends are his toys and he likes to dress up as a superhero calling himself Captain Jeremy.
This is a lead role and the character the player plays as. The entire game is seen through his eyes, as he pictures the world as a vibrant and cartoony place. However as the game progresses, that mask slips as Jeremy starts to see that something is very wrong with this adventure.
That’s right you evildoer, we’re here to stop you once and for all! Right, Private Bugsy?

BUGSY WAS MY FIRST FRIEND! He has been there since I was a baby! Every argument mom and dad had! Every bad day, I... I was never alone because of him!
A random stranger that appeared in Jeremy's room claiming he witnessed Private Bugsy being abducted by the Mad Scientist. He leads Jeremy out into the woods to save Bugsy.
This is a lead role and the antagonist of the game. He has a forced squeaky high-pitched voice, as if he's trying to come off as a nice, trust-worthy person. That forced voice sometimes slips to reveal a deeper and more hostile personality.
Hey relax, don’t be too loud now. Your mother is still sleeping.
Well of course. It would be silly to stick a lab in a shack. This is just the facade, you see?
Oh for- We really don’t have time for this. We need to get going to save Bugsy.
One of Jeremy's toy friends. A frail ball joint doll that is mostly a scaredy cat who fears the worst, but acts as a voice of reason for Jeremy, telling him that this adventure is a bad idea and to turn back. He is the only one in the group that calls Jeremy by his first name.
This is a lead role and the deuteragonist of the game. He has a trembling voice and is inspired by the character Fear (Inside Out) and Edd (Ed, Edd, Eddy). While timid, he will stand his ground to support Jeremy.
I-Is it true? Is Bugsy really gone?
I hope this won’t take long, these woods sure are scary...
No Jeremy, I didn’t trust it before and I one million percent don't trust it now. I don't trust this guy!
One of Jeremy's toy friends. A super energetic dog plush that always tries to pick a fight with the other toys, however she does care for her friends and has a hard time showing it. She calls Jeremy, "Cap'n."
She has a southern accent and is similar to Sandy Cheeks (Spongebob) or a classic cowgirl.
Oh can it already wart. I'm sure he’s back home busy stuffing his- OH MY GOSH!

(To Humphrey) I told you to stop midnight snacking!
One of Jeremy's toy friends. He is a short, fat, plushy who is very slow and lazy, but will always lend a hand when his friends are in trouble. He calls Jeremy, "Boss."
His voice is similar to a mafia goon and being very deep and slow.

A military soldier and Jeremy's most cherished friend. A sterotypical soldier who always calls Jeremy, "Captain."

A classic evil scientist and the main rival to Jeremy. Inspired by characters such as Dr.Eggman (Sonic) and "The Mad Doctor" (Disney).
This is a minor role with very few lines of dialogue. Payment is much lower than the base rate.
