Broadway Broadcast Radio - A Fallout New York radio mod
Project Overview
Broadway Broadcast Radio – A Fallout 4 Radio Mod
The Broadway Broadcast is a lore-friendly Fallout 4 radio station mod set in the ruins of New York City. Like other stations, it mixes classic pre-war music with commentary from two unlikely broadcasters: a sarcastic human survivor and a surprisingly warm-hearted super mutant, offering news reports and PSAs that cover the strange dangers of New York with grim honesty, alongside the music. The station balances bleak atmosphere with flashes of humor and unlikely camaraderie between its two hosts.
The station features:
A selection of 53 songs, focused on classic big band, ballads, and Broadway selections
News and PSAs from the two hosts
Random discussions between the hosts, often comedic in tone
Requirement:
mostly listed in the roles
some way to communicate (preferably Discord)
some way to arrange payment (preferably Paypal or Venmo)
high quality audio
a way to send audio files

Description:
Eliot is the human host of the Broadway Broadcast, broadcasting from post-war Staten Island. Born post-war, they drifted through settlements until stumbling onto enough gear to run a radio station. They hate Manhattan and New York in general and avoid it, but broadcast from Staten Island—just close enough to see the glow. They feel that someone running the station is required, simply to warn others of the wasteland. They claim to just run the station as a means of filling the air, but sometimes their genuine affection for the music and their mutant co-host and friend, Harker, sometimes bleeds through. Still, Eliot (known as El by listeners) at the surface level is sarcastic and dismissive, often sounding flat and cynical, but never more than just moody.
Voice Type:
Gender-neutral (or female), human, mid-20s to 40s. Flat, sardonic, a little weary, but not monotone. They undercut sentimentality with biting humor but sometimes slip and reveal real care beneath the cynicism
Requirements:
- Main host of the radio
- Around 200 lines as of now, mostly intros and outros for songs, news and survival PSAs
- Eliot's voice is sarcastic and has obvious bad blood with the area, but they still seem to enjoy the station
- High quality audio, akin to other characters in the Fallout games

If you’re in Manhattan, good luck. If you’re not in Manhattan, better luck - don’t go there.
Here’s ‘What Should I Do.’ by the Paulette Sisters. Good question. Around here, the choices are usually bad or worse.
Your gun is going to save your life. Or it won’t, because you were too lazy to clean it. Rust, sand, even dried blood can jam the action. Oil it if you can. If you don’t have oil, a few drops of Brahmin fat will do. If you can’t even manage that, you might as well tape a sign to your chest that says, ‘Please shoot me, my gun doesn’t work.'
Description:
A second-generation super mutant and a member of the Spear Shakers mutant clan, who follow bizarre Shakespearean philosophy and are friendlier to humans than most. Originally sent to parley with humans, but ended up hanging around the station with Eliot. He isn’t a “co-host” so much as a presence - sometimes he comments on news, sometimes he shares PSAs, sometimes he just drops by. While still dumb, he's smarter than most mutants and often offers his own insight on survival in the New York wastes. While Eliot won't admit it, he's also their close friend and a welcome presence at the radio.
Voice Type:
Male super mutant. Deep, rough, but calmer and more thoughtful than most mutants. He’s still a little slow and blunt, but smarter than the average. His humor is warm and a little awkward.
Requirements:
- Co-host of the radio
- Around 100 lines as of now, survival tips, and his own mutant themed news
- Harker has a typical super mutant voice, deep, slow, and a little lax on grammatical sense
- High quality audio, akin to other characters in the Fallout games
- english
- video game
- radio
- deep
- male adult
Hello, humans. This is Harker. Don’t worry - me not bite. Unless you bite first.
Northwest sneaks, they fight bad. Last night they stab Spear Shaker in dark. No fair fight. Then vanish, gone like smoke. We look, we sniff, we find nothing. Cowards with shiny toys.
Me am mutant. Me feel cold, me feel hunger, me feel when cut, same as you bleed. When fire burn, me scream. When joke funny, me laugh loud. When poison in cup, me fall dead same as you. So why, when men wrong mutant, mutant not take revenge? Me am less? No. Me am same.
