Lea Lawson
>Aussie VA who is keen to voice (and pcap/mocap) for interactive, audio drama, animation, narration and commercials. With a home booth, Rode NT-1 5th gen, and reliable internet I can collaborate from anywhere in the world!
>My website and socials can be found here https://lealawson.net/ + https://linktr.ee/lealawson. And I regularly voice Athena Hellier (amongst others) in an ensemble actual play podcast https://ishouldroll.com - check it out if you love Mass Effect, TTRPGs, friends clearly having fun creating together, and professional voice acting! :D I also currently star in the audio drama Appalachia: A Fallout 76 Story https://linktr.ee/appalachia76 as Kitt, the Pip-boy! (and additional voices)
>Timezone is in Canada, CT (GMT -5)
>Quite often I play english and american characters, so am flexible beyond native australian :) Am mixed-race, bi, she/her, and am a part-time hearing aid wearer x
>I do require an AAVA (NAVA based) anti-AI rider to be signed for any project I am selected for. It protects me, is good practice for any voice actor, and also promotes trust between producer and client ;) Cheers!
Non-union. I do occasionally take on unpaid passion projects if they seem fun! But I obviously prefer paid roles as we creatives have to keep roofs over our heads. If you've listed an amount on a paid project and I've auditioned for it, that is what I will take :) If you have not listed a rate but have stated the role is paid, I will defer to the GVAA Guidelines https://globalvoiceacademy.com/gvaa-rate-guide-2/ or the Indie Rate Guide https://voiceactingclub.com/rates/ And if I am requested to edit audio, that should be reflected in the rate. Thanks for your time, let's work together and create something wonderful!
Ultimately I want to specialise in interactive (video games), audio dramas, and animation.
Have dabbled in audio dramas, improv, narration, and announcements.
Currently training at SkillsHub! https://acting.skillshub.life/actor/lealawson
And currently unrepresented, so am looking for Aus rep as well as international rep.

Lea Lawson is a fantastic voice actor. I originally chose Lea for my project based on the emotionality she was able to express through her voice, and it was the best decision I could have made. Her delivery of the lines for all the characters assigned to her was exactly what I hoped it would be in my mind's eye. It was a surreal experience to hear my words spoken and brought to life by her. She was always prompt to respond and happily worked with me for revisions and retakes. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a talented voice actor, and I will be calling on her for more voice work in the future.
