Tacape: a Brazilian Folk Card Game
Project Overview
Hi Folks,
I'm part of Really Long Birds, a group developing their first commercial game. We are looking for voice actors for the first 2 campaigns of Tacape, a card game with a Brazilian folkloric theme. There are 3 roles available at the moment.
Description of the project
Tacape is a deck-builder card game with roguelike elements that uses characters and themes from Brazilian folklore to create its mechanics and stories.
Each campaign have a few short and compact cutscenes. The stories have sort of a gloomy felling, telling how each character deals with their own fears and threating situations.
Lines for each role
Our 3 roles are Lorena, Lucas and the Living Nightmare.
In our current script Lorena and Lucas have a maximum of 200 words each. Living Nightmare will only have a few lines.
We plan to have more stories in the future, so we would like to contact the actors chosen to re-play these characters again if needed.

Lorena is a black 14-year-old teen, living in a rural zone in Brazil. Confident, courageous and a little hot-headed, she cares deeply for her little brother Lucas and is very worried about his disappearance but determined to find him.
The day was so calm and beautiful that I allowed myself to take a nap before starting any of my tasks.
When I went looking for Lucas to play a bit I noticed he wasn’t in his room. I thought maybe he had another one of his nightmares and hid somewhere in fear.
I couldn't be more wrong…
Are you out of your mind?! We need to go home right now! Mom must be so worried about us…
Lucas is a black 10-year-old kid, living in a rural zone in Brazil. Naive, curious and playful but easily scared, he looks up to his big sister Lorena and misses her. He's very afraid of the whole situation he ended up in but uses his imagination to deal with his fears.
I have been having these really bad nightmares… They feel too real and make me wake up covered in sweat.
Lorena, mom and dad tried to convince me it’s just in my head.
But one day I woke up….
You have seen the visages around the forest, haven’t you?
Keep calm Lucas, try to slow down…
I think hard enough maybe I can find my way out of this forest…
Living Nightmare is a ill intended shapeshifting monster.
