Project Overview
A short yuri comic fandub video shipping Blemishine and W from Arknights. Two comics will be dubbed, which you can read here: [1] - [2]
For an example of how the final product may look like, you can refer to this Jean x Eula Genshin Impact fandub I made with other voice actors.
NOTES
- Must have decent audio without background noise.
- Being familiar with Arknights and the characters are a plus, but not mandatory if your performance matches the intended role.
- I recommend submitting your audition lines in AABBCC format (2-3 takes per line is fine).
- The audition lines are from the comic itself, so once casted, I may use your audition lines as the final audio clips for the comic dub if it's already perfect!
RATES
- Rates are calculated at $3 per line based on the number of lines each role has in the comic (some short lines like single words and nonverbals are merged). Final rates are negotiable!
- Payments are made through Paypal.
- Once casted, correspondence can be made through CCC messages, or Discord.

INFO: W is a battle-hardened ex-mercenary who recently joins Rhodes Islands (the protagonist faction). She is from a race called Sarkaz, a disenfranchised people sporting devilish horns and tails, who had to become a soldier-for-hire in order to survive.
PERSONALITY: Due to her backstory, W embodies the "bad girl" trope - she's jaded and cynical from years of staring war and death straight in the eye, and masks this with her flippant, rebellious personality, making snide comments and teasing others in order to push them away from her.
RELATIONSHIP: W values her life very little, because her life as a soldier taught her that she's only an asset to use and throw away. It's through her roller coaster relationship with Blemishine that she learns not only to start valuing her own life, but to open up emotionally to others and entertain the idea that even someone like her can find happiness.

She has a playful, callous personality, with a constant air of brattiness and disdain in the way she speaks. However in this dub, a range of emotions is needed to show her softer, more earnest emotions.

[W meets Blemishine for the first time. She is casually dismissive and thinks nothing of her.] "Tell me, baby Nearl, do you intend to measure up to half of that sister of yours? ...I don't see much."
[Tender voice. Realising her growing feelings and amused at how much she's opened up] "God damn it. This isn't me at all..."
[Impatient and nearly panicking, knowing that Blemishine is seriously injured] "I'm not kidding, Ears! Let me through, right the hell now!"

INFO: Blemishine (real name Maria Nearl) is an operative of Rhodes Island and a knight from Kazimierz. Raised in the noble Nearl family, she's a pure soul with a simple, good heart that does not stand for injustice.
PERSONALITY: Maria has a very "girl next door" vibe, being pleasant and well-mannered. However, being a knight also means she is brave and steadfast when called to action, never hesitating to do the right thing.
RELATIONSHIP: Blemishine enters a rough partnership with W due to her noble background and popularity at Rhodes Island clashing with W, the resident outcast and former antagonist-turned-ally. However, through a combination of her uncomplicated personality and self-sacrifice, she eventually gets through to W in a way that few others in Rhodes thought was even possible.

She has a clear, bubbly voice that shows her sense of innocence, but also the purity of her character. She sounds unapologetically joyful in a way that can seem overbearing, but eventually wins you over.
