Another Noxious Soul - Main roles part 1 | Animated series *PAID*
Project Overview
Another Noxious Soul (or AnS for short) is a non-profit animated series that I made for the last 13 years on a French website called "LaCartoonerie" (which unfortunately doesn't exist anymore because of the end of Flash Player).
It's a series of 13 episodes separated in 2 seasons and which lasts more than 4 hours in total. The dialogues are currently in bubble form (in French), because at the time I didn't plan to dub the series. But now, I'm looking for talented VAs to give life to my characters !
What is "Another Noxious Soul" about ?
Manipulated during her sleep, Naelya frees a demon once trapped in a strange book. This mistake will change her life forever... Rule #1: Never listen to a demon.
Genre : Fantasy, Adventure, Action, Drama, Romance.
Note that AnS is not a kid show, I would say it's PG-13 rated (violence, death, mature topics), especially season 2.
About the payment :
AnS is a non-profit series because I have used many OSTs from anime, TV series and movies and I don't have many viewers on YT.
I really want to dub it in English, so I hope the prices I can afford as a student with a part-time job will still catch your interest !
Payment will be made via PayPal, once the job is done. Retakes might be asked if needeed.
Informations :
- Be at least 16 to audition.
- Have time to spare and be serious
- Please use a quality microphone and avoid background noises.
- 2 takes per lines
- Feel free to apply for multiple roles !
- If you are selected for a lead role, I may ask you to play some minor roles as well, as these are the most difficult to fill.
This casting concerns some main characters of the serie, as well as minors roles appearing in season 1 or 2. Future castings will be proposed for other main and supporting characters.

Naelya is the heroine of the story.
She is a smart and charming girl who gets along with almost everyone. But if she doesn't like certain people, she won't hesitate to show it. Besides, she rarely lets anyone walk all over her. Peppy, she seems very sure of herself, but deep down she is a sensitive and emotional girl. She also has a pretty good intuitive understanding of human nature, which allows her to better understand and help those around her. Stubborn and impatient, it is difficult to change her mind once she has an idea. She can also be too outspoken and tell the truths that don't always please...
Note that if you want to apply for her, you must be able to provide a convincing thirtysomething voice for another character related to her : Aedelya (who has in fact the same voice as Naelya but older) . Her lines (464 words) are included in the 7013 words of this role. Naelya has also some lines as a child.
Age : 15
Voice : Medium, medium high. Katara from Avatar the last airbender, or Keqing from Genshin Impact are examples of voice timbre that could fit her well.
As this is a role with a significant number of lines, half of the payment will be made after the validation of the lines of season 1, and the second part after the validation of the lines of season 2.
(Narrative voice, a bit in a hurry and annoyed at being late) Naelya Herrens, 15 years old. I had the good idea of freeing a demon as jaded as he is rude. And here I am, late, because of the "book keeper", who can't even wake me up in time !
(Suspicious and defensive, she is being threaten ) Demons never keep their promises, so forget about it !
Aedelya : (Enigmatic and strangely warm) Don't worry Naelya, I'll stay with you... Like I always have.
Reiz is an enigmatic and malicious character who always has a smile on his face and seems to be one step ahead of everyone else. He often has information in his possession that others do not, and uses it skillfully to achieve his ends. Despite his calculating side, he cares about his loved ones, like Meherian whom he has a crush on.
Note that Reiz has some lines as a child.

Voice : medium high, high. An example of the voice I'm looking for, but in Japanese.

Soren is a cheerful and altruistic person, he is always there when you need him. Courageous but sometimes impulsive, he can be counted on. Nevertheless, he can sometimes hurt others by the harshness of his words when he is angry, but always blames himself afterwards.
Note that Soren has some lines as a child.

Voice : Medium, Medium high. Fret's voice from Neo Twewy could suits him well.

(Defensive, he's around 10, a mysterious woman is on the doorstep) My mother always told me never to let strangers in !
Eos is the most powerful demon and final boss of season 2. Emperor of the demon world, in front of his court he seems to be a charming and magnanimous ruler, but he is thirsty for revenge.
Age : Looks 40 years old
Voice : Medium low, low. An example of the type of voice I'm looking for.
(Talks to his court, charming and charismatic, pleased that his children are back) Today is a great day for the Underworld ! The Gods have given me back my children which fate had deprived me of for so many years...
(Amused and threatening) I thought you wouldn't have the courage to show your face. But I must admit that you have guts to come and challenge me with so few of you.
(Vulnerable, touching) I beg you, is there no way to cohabit ?
Just like her son, Saelyne is mischievous and enigmatic, she likes to change the course of events in her own way. But she will not hesitate to risk her life to help others.
Note that Saelyne has a few lines as a teen.
Age : In her forties
Voice : Medium, Medium low.
(Mischievous) *chuckles softly* This ball promises to be very interesting.
(Respectful but you can hear the amusement in her voice) With all due respect, it is not me who's standing up to you but your brother.
(Embarrassed/a bit timid because she is answering to a boy she likes, she is around 16) I know, we're together for theory classes.
Kristia is a naive and rather immature girl. We often think she is younger than her age, especially with her two pigtails and plush she carries around. Extremely emotional and sensitive, she has difficulty managing her emotions and will act impulsively without realizing the consequences. She is also very jealous and possessive, preventing anyone from touching her beloved and envies those who manage to attract his sympathy.
Note that Krisitia has some lines as a child.

Ivyn & Selyn are twins, they are mischievous and enigmatic. They always hold hands and almost always speak at the same time, like the Hitachiin Brothers from Host Club.

(Puzzled, speak at the same time) This place is protected from the UnderWorld, but that seal wouldn't be strong enough to hold someone from the human world...
(Amused when calling him "warden", then concerned, speak at the same time) Hey warden ! We’re gonna have to hurry out of here.
She's one of Meleah's friend, a a girl at school who doesn't like the heroine very much, she always does what Meleah asks.

(Fangirling, flirting) Are you doing something tonight ?
(Cold and a bit upset) You're on your own Herrens ?
(In her head, Irritated) Jeez, she could ask more nicely !
She is a successful businesswoman who does not have much time for her niece. She is strict and does not show much affection.
Age : Around 40

(Jaded) Is the meal ready ?
(Jaded) Well, I'll call a cab...
