What To Expect

The Last Trip is a story-driven roleplay series focused on survival, mystery, exploration, and character interaction.

Participants will take on the role of ordinary individuals brought together by a unique opportunity. While traveling to the destination they were promised, a powerful snowstorm strikes as the group makes its way through remote mountain roads. During the storm, the driver loses control of the vehicle, leaving the group stranded deep within a snow-covered wilderness far from civilization.

With little hope of immediate rescue, participants must work together to survive the harsh conditions, establish shelter, gather resources, and uncover the mysteries surrounding the mountain and those who came before them.

As the story unfolds, players will discover that not everything is as it first appears, and the decisions they make may determine not only their survival, but how the story ultimately ends.

Throughout the series, players will:

  • Explore the world and uncover its secrets

  • Build shelters and establish a place to survive

  • Search for resources and supplies

  • Investigate clues left behind by those who came before

  • Make decisions that affect both the story and other participants

  • Shape the ending through their actions

The story is designed around player choice. While there is an overall narrative, participants are free to make their own decisions, form their own opinions, and determine how events unfold.

Expectations
  • Remain in character during sessions whenever possible

  • Be respectful toward fellow participants

  • Be willing to engage with the story and roleplay

  • Consistent attendance is strongly encouraged

  • No unnecessary drama or harassment

Character Creation

Accepted participants will be required to create an original character for the series.

Characters should be ordinary people with their own personality, strengths, weaknesses, goals, and fears. Detailed backstories are welcome but not required. The focus should be on creating a believable character who can naturally interact with others and respond to the situations they encounter throughout the story.

Upon being accepted and added to the project Discord server, participants will gain access to character creation resources, world information, and other materials designed to help create a character that properly fits within the setting of The Last Trip.

Character development is encouraged, and the events of the series may shape who your character becomes by the end.

Out of Character Conduct

Conflict between characters is expected and encouraged when it serves the story. Characters may disagree, argue, form rivalries, betray one another, or develop conflict naturally throughout the series.

However, any drama, hostility, grudges, bad blood, or behavior that creates problems outside of the roleplay will not be tolerated. Keep conflict in character and leave it there. Participants are expected to treat one another with respect regardless of what occurs within the story.

Modpack

This series uses a custom modpack which will be required to join the server.

The modpack can be found here:

[Modpack Link]

Please make sure the modpack is installed and working before the first session. If you need help with installation or encounter any issues, feel free to ask for assistance.

Death & Consequences

Due to the nature of the series, player versus player deaths will be considered canonical deaths.

This decision has been made because it best fits the setting and story being told. Participants are expected to be ordinary people attempting to survive a dangerous situation, meaning violence between survivors should be treated seriously and not as a casual solution to disagreements.

While conflict between characters is allowed, participants should understand that choosing to take another character's life may permanently affect both that character and the story moving forward.

Think carefully before resorting to violence. Actions have consequences, and some decisions cannot be undone.

Recording

Sessions will be recorded for YouTube, and participants are encouraged to record or stream their own perspectives as well.

Latest Updates

I will begin contacting applicants before the application deadline. Rather than selecting everyone at once, I will likely reach out to 1–2 people at a time whenever I have the opportunity.

This does not mean applications are closed.

If you have not been contacted and the deadline has not yet passed, please do not assume you have been rejected. Applications will remain open until the deadline, and available spots may still be filled throughout that time.

I do this so accepted players can begin preparing their characters and getting familiar with the project while I continue reviewing new applications and considering additional applicants.

Expect to be contacted on discord: ivan2837_
