Overview
Heartbeats (previously known as My Little Sayaka) is the first Visual Novel project created by Tsundoku VN, and features beautiful art, an original opening track, and 4 unique character routes/ love interests with optional 18+ content.
Our main character (namable) is a former music sensation who has recently fallen out of popularity due to a lack of motivation. Just as he’s dwindling out of relevance, he runs into a feisty little girl named Sayaka. Along with her, he’s introduced to several characters new and old. This is when an opportunity presents itself. Auri, a rising popstar and childhood friend, is trying to build her own record label after having disagreements with her last label. The main character, along with Sayaka, Auri, Lee and Grace, group together to help each other and create a record label! Along the way the MC is faced with bad crowds, harsh decisions, painful memories from the past, and 4 unique character routes for each individual love interest. Where will your journey take you? Your decisions will help decide.
What we Need
Voice actors for the main and side characters. Although you will audition with full lines, the work done after casting will start off as only partial voice acting. Mainly just doing reaction lines like "oh", "hello", "mhm", etc.
We will consider doing additional lines if our kickstarter campaign for the project allows for it. This would also mean funding for our voice actors so stick with us.
Requirements
Age - Because the final project will have 18+ content (even though voice acting will not be related), we ask that all auditionees are above the age of 18 for safety reasons.
Commitment to the project - Please stick with us as we may request additional lines in the future.
Equipment - If you audition please have a decent sounding mic, this is necessary for casting.

Auri is a childhood friend to the main character as well as a successful musician. She can act cheeky, tomboyish, and devious but is caring and wants to have a good time. Extra points for auditions with adlibbed lines.
(Being cheeky turned to mistake) Heyyy, It would be a shame if I were to lose my balance here... Hehe I know you wouldn't let me- Oh SHI-
(Happy to excitement) Sweet! Sounds like we've got everything we need. Now all that's left is... A PARTY TO CELEBRATE!
(Devious bliss) (Humming) Mmmhmmmhmm, everthing's perfect. I have my own personal assistant for the day who does (slow and drawn out) whatever, I, want. And if not... I'll just tell the others about that one time when you were a kid and we both- (gets cut off)
A lil tsundere who meets the main character after bumping into them. She can be rude, sarcastic, mean (and short) but she really does care about people and tries her best to help those who need it, even if it doesn't seem like it. Extra points for adlibbed lines.
(Chuckle) You know what, you two lovebirds go have lunch. Here’s my number, I’ll hit u up next time.
Alright, guard the bags and wait for me outside the dressing room. And DON’T peek. I swear, if I catch you you’ll be paying with more than just money.
(Slightly annoyed) Well you’ve wasted enough of my time. I wanted to thank you for helping me with my shopping by buying you lunch, but then you insulted me sooo.
Quiet and reserved, but Lee is a gentle soul. Lee is non-binary going by they/them so a kind of gender ambiguous voice would be ideal. Graphic designer and lover of art, they have a hard time getting to meet new people. Extra points for auditions with adlibbed lines.
(Scared and anxious) Umm, no I- I wasn't following you I had just overheard you needed and artist and I- (freezes up) I'M A GRAPHIC ARTIST!
(Exhausted but happy) Hehe no, It's not that I don't like people I just get so anxious around others. It's hard for me to make friends so I really appreciate you being so nice to me.
(Embarrased and uncomfortable) Not my hair! Ehhh Auri, Grace is being... p h y s i c a l. She won't stop touching meee.
An excitable and fun loving woman. 24 years old, videographer and editor for the main character and a fangirl of his previous music work (really adores him). Extra points for auditions with adlibbed lines.
(Deep thought into optimism) I don't think we have to come up with a name yet... Let's just let it come to us and work on making everything else perfect first!
(Pouty into devious "wanting to touch hair" lust?) You never let me touch your hair, it's so luxurious... How about a hug then?
(Overexcited) Let's get this business off the ground! I'll start by making a promotional video of the staff. LEE! Get over here and say cheese.
Easy going and slightly sarcastic best friend to the main character. Business man, model, and a hard worker (though it's not something you'd expect at first glance). Extra points for auditions with adlibbed lines.
(Calm but cautious) Woah there miss. What’s up, you want an autograph?
You know for someone with your recognition I wouldn’t think you’d be so carefree about letting whoever knocks on your door into your home.
(Sarcastic and arguing) Oh right, and if you weren’t the perfect man I wouldn’t enjoy your company as much as I do!
