I go by RubyJCat or Ruby J Shilan and I'm an indie/non-union voice actress. I've been voice acting on/off since 2014.My voice can be described as feminine, soft-spoken, youthful, nasal, and soothing. My base voices are "high, shy" and "low, awkward" which cover a wide pitch range. Character traits that suit my voice include reserved, timid, sincere, kind, sweet, naïve, playful, haughty, sarcastic, blunt, and serious.My biggest challenges with voice acting would be enunciation as I used to slur a lot, and sounding natural as I used to try to imitate other people's voices. I have learned to just be myself. :)I'm grateful for the opportunities I've been given and am always happy to participate in a passion project.

I DO NOT do any canon character impression VA work anymore. (Like, if they have an official VA and its fandub or whatever type of stuff)

The reason for this is because I have had MANY experiences of people (specifically in the hazbin hotel community, but others too) where people did not like that I tell them what exactly to work on, and didn't like that I told them my opinion on their auditions for my project(s). So they (most of the hazbin hotel fandub servers) have 'soft blacklisted' me from actually getting any auditions in. As in, they will let me audition, but they refuse to actually update me or contact me or anything about the audition, while telling and updating everyone else.

So, I will straight up refuse to VA ANY character that has an official VA already. Do not come to me asking for it unless you are going to actually update me and be transparent.
