Welcome to my longest dub creation EVER! This dub is the beginning of a large casting call for VOICE ACTORS in...
Hickman's X-Men run titled "House of X / Powers of X" (12 ISSUES)
Story Summary: Professor X, Magneto, and Moira unite mutants on Krakoa after learning mutants always face extinction across every timeline. As humanity and machines move toward inevitable war, the X-Men fight to break the cycle through resurrection, political power, and mutant unity.

AUDITION EXPECTATIONS:
Send your takes in AABBCC format.
An XLR mic is preferred, as this project aims for high-quality comic dubs. Strong performances may outweigh minor mic issues however.
Major issues like echo and muffled audio are not acceptable. Feel free to process your audio — EQ, cleanup, whatever helps you sound your best.
PROJECT EXPECTATIONS:This casting call covers PART 1 of 2 casting calls. A second will be made to acknowledge the last batch of characters needed.
If cast, please be ready to submit lines quickly — production moves fast.
Communication matters. If delays come up, keep me updated.
Be open to retakes if needed. No full script will be provided; actors will read directly from the comic pages featuring their character. So try your best not to miss lines.
BONUS: If selected for any role, there’s a strong chance you may be considered for additional characters later in the project. Some voice actors may also have the opportunity to portray multiple roles when needed.

This character appears in the far-future timeline in Powers of X - the X2 TIMELINE - Year 100. You learn in the story that he is a fusion/chimera mutant created from the genetics of multiple mutants with Nightcrawler being one of his primary genetic templates.
He should sound calm, spiritual, poetic. Think like a monk who also happens to be an elite warrior.

Scene context: This character appears in Powers of X #1 during the Year 100 timeline, where the surviving mutant resistance attempts to rescue Cylobel after her capture because of the valuable intelligence she possesses on Nimrod and the machine systems.

Cyclops is the leader of the X-Men and one of the more consistently recurring characters throughout HOX/POX, though not the central protagonist of the story. He primarily appears in Issues #1, #4, and #5–6 of House of X.
For this role, I'm seeking a voice that feels authoritative, controlled, confident, and naturally commanding without sounding overly aggressive. Cyclops is a seasoned leader who speaks with precision and conviction.
Scene Context:Cyclops arrives to retrieve Sabretooth and offer him amnesty for his crimes under Krakoan law. However, the Fantastic Four strongly disagree with the decision, leading to a tense standoff where both sides ultimately agree that the Fantastic Four will take Sabretooth into custody instead.

This is probably the most IMPORTANT role in the entire dub. This role requires CLEAN AUDIO and a good performance! She has most of the lines in both narration and traditional dialogue. She essentially is the hidden central character acting as the real foundation of the entire story. Her mutant ability: reincarnation.
If you're auditioning, you will be expected to carry this role with varying emotions for majority of the series. The lines have been structured to explore different emotional moments this character is experience.
Line 1 Scene: Moira has been captured by Destiny and Mystique. The lab is on fire and all of her friends have been killed. Moira should sound angry and exhausted.
Line 2 Scene: This should read like someone revealing a truth that terrifies even them. Moira is speaking to Xavier and Magneto, revealing her mutant ability and the knowledge she carries from her past lives.
Line 3 Scene: This should feel quieter and more intimate sounding. Moira is being "observational here". Pretend your someone who already knows how history ends & trying to pretend normal conversations still matter. Moira is here speaking with Charles Xavier before he has formed the X-Men.

This is a major role, as the character appears frequently throughout the Powers of X side of the story.
Delivery Tips: This character should sound intelligent with a dark, villainous tone — calm and inviting on the surface, but always hinting at betrayal. Think MCU Ultron. The delivery should feel calculated, manipulative, and crafty, with a slightly gravelly voice. Light robotic processing is encouraged, but the performance should remain clear and easy to understand.

A moderately important role with a decent amount of dialogue overall. The character appears briefly in Powers of X #1 before returning in Issues #5 and #6 with a stronger presence. While not a frequent character throughout the series, this role is heavily tied to the philosophical and story-driving elements of the narrative.
The Librarian was a member of the Man-Machine Ascendancy who preserved the last remaining mutants following the near-extinction of mutantkind during the Human-Machine-Mutant War.
Scene Context: The story shifts in Powers of X Issue 1 to the Year 1000. This is just a small scene for worldbuilding and philosophical setup of the future timeline.
Audition Tips: The Librarian should sound highly educated and emotionally restrained. He’s documenting history rather than participating in it. Avoid sounding overtly villainous or theatrical.
