In Powers of X #1, Nimrod’s machine forces rule the future, forcing the remaining mutant resistance into hiding as characters like Rasputin IV and Cardinal fight a desperate losing war against the machine civilization he leads.

This is a major role, as the character appears frequently throughout the Powers of X side of the story.
