    THE STORY 

    "Crimson Waltz" tells the story of Valerie, a young girl victimized by her culture that is now presented an opportunity to become more and change her lot in life for better or worse. Do you care to Waltz in the Crimson?

  • INTRODUCTION

    Honestly, I got tired of trying out for others projects on Casting Call Club (CCC). So I decided to just make my own project and give the community more original work to see and jobs to help elevate stars in this field of entertainment. So hello, everyone! I'm Cardinal001 or the small time twitch streamer known by AlphaBirdCardinal. I run Cardinal Entertainment on YouTube and a Role Play Lobby in a game called "VRchat" by the name Bed Rock City. Just remember to read the channels they tell ya what you have to do. Other wise just DM me and I'll help you get acquainted with it. Anyway back to the topic at hand this is a casting call for the project "Crimson Waltz. This is for fun, but if this gets enough attention and I can get enough funds donated to this project from other sources I'll take it to a different level and have more story reveled and payed roles for a team to really bring this world to life.

    DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS

    The deadline for auditions is December 30th, 2021. There are currently no plans to extend this deadline. The full pilot script is ready to be release to voice actors. We'll notify the voice actors who have been casted in roles by January 7th. The script will be available in the discord if you have been casted.  We need to receive all lines back from voice actors between January 30th and February 20th. This is a hard deadline. The sooner all lines are turned in the sooner the project is finished and you all get your credits and a new thing to add to your belt of EXP.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    Expect to be warmly greeted by me, Cardinal001 in my Discord server. I have already built channels and put them away in to its own private category. Just read the rules or DM me directly and I'll give you the permissions you'll need to communicate with the team. At this point, you'll be part of Cardinal Entertainment and have the renown of kings (Not really, but it sounds cool). 

    We communicate primarily through Discord. If you are unfamiliar with this application don't worry I'll help you. You can still audition, however, we strongly, strongly recommend participation through Discord so that you can collaborate with your fellow voice actors. We've used Discord with other projects and it has been of immense value. 


    WHAT WE ASK OF YOU

    • First and foremost, have fun. Also don't worry to much about the voice pitch for the characters just do your own take on the characters.
    • Please submit clean recordings on XLR or USB mics (no background sounds) Too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice. Also please let me handle the post-production. Don't add effects to your lines -- leave that to my audio genius. Thank you. This doesn't mean don't clean up your audio I just don't want voice mod in the takes.
    • Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes. Three is the gold standard. We have a few voice actors that would rather give us more takes, and that's okay, too.
    • Please submit your recordings as one .wav. If casted a new destination will be given later.
    • When I start a new project, I plan to return to voice actors I worked with in the past so keep me in mind.

  • Deadline Notice + Friendly words

    Hey VA's! It is getting closer to the closing of this here project and it's casting call. I am grateful for all of you who have auditioned for my project's roles and the support of the projects development this far. There's still time for anyone to try out and earn a spot on this project. I Plan to make more projects and expand this one. So keep in touch with this crew by joining the discord and using it to grow your own project maybe. I have built channels and categories for that cause. More roles will open up in the future. Until then Like share commit and just find ways of making this and everything else I do a big deal. The bigger we grow the bigger the splash we make for creators everywhere. I might make a video to say hey on twitter and announce the project again to remind people it is in production. any way. Lets do our best and make it something to be remembered.

  • The improvements to be made to the Webtoon

    I plan on reworking the Story's character lines, redrawing the art with some expansion and giving color to it as well. Plus I maybe adding a few extra surprises in the mix as well, but I'll keep that a my big secret. Please continue to audition all and remember every character is important to me and the story. She is a person who has been mistreated for a long time, but keeps an optimistic view on life. Her curiosity gets the better of her and she is quick to latch on to any kindness as an invitation to be immediate friends. She is a very tough little lady. She is a bit of a tom boy in voice and is expressive so she shouldn't be mute in tone when speaking.

Voice is more Tomboy. So not high pitched, but medium.

  • (Calm and up beat. The feeling of after meeting a new friend that just helped you out of a tight spot.)

    Line: My name is Valerie, but the town calls me Val.

  • (An out burst of panicked emotion. This is from someone who is in a flight state, but has been cornered on all sides.)

    Line: Why!?

  • (A calm and honest question to someone you believe in.)

    Line: Calin, what happens now?

Very short dirty blond hair with a tall and slender appearance. Has a memory problem after waking up like 100 years later. A very innocent person and has a huge moral compass. Voice range can be medium to low.

Calin is a firm individual. Very Straight and to the point. Never joking. Super protective of Peter. Always focused on having the advantage and gets very agitated when not having the high ground. Voice pitch is open on this one.

    Line: Words escape me. (Short pause) Even though our own tragedy; as painful of an ordeal as it was, this thing was beyond fear. If Cruelty had a form it was laid bare for all to see. I wish I didn’t. I wish I didn’t see.
