Project Overview
- Was it so Wrong is a short audio drama that focuses upon the character of Midori Sato and her inner thoughts as she stands atop the Epcot Icon Tower on Epcot Center at Walt Disney World.
The story goes: After being thwarted in her attempt to rid her life of the pain of losing the man she loves to another woman that she deemed as "the enemy". Midori Sato choose to not be apprehended by the police and chooses her own ending on her own terms.
TRIGGERS: Suicide and Heartbrokenness.

Midori Sato is a jealous, vindictive woman that enjoys the torture and pain of seeing others kicked down by life. She believes that everything should revolve around her and that she's better than anyone she meets because of her extreme wealth and good fortune.
Under her cruel exterior is a woman that longs to be loved by a man that has no interest in loving her back. She has gone so far as to force her father to place the man she loves into a loveless marriage. She'll do anything she can to take the man she wants as her "king" even murdering the person in her way.
Note: Midori isn't a good person. She is very much like the evil queen from Snow White. She has jealousy in her heart and thus it becomes her ultimate downfall.

It's not fair that I've lost the man I loved to that...that horrible brat!
(TEARFULLY)

(Note: Naomi sounds a bit like how Terri Hawkes voiced Usagi Tsukino in the Sailor Moon English Dub)
Naomi LaClair is a young woman who can be very trusting and believes that everyone has a better nature. She cares deeply for those around her to the point that it's often or not one of the things that puts her into danger. She is a bit of a crybaby and has a habit of falling into daydreamy states when it comes to love and romance. She is kind-hearted and comes off as a "perfect" girl next door type.
But under all of that, she has a lot of issues stemming from the relentless teasing she received as a child. She has zero confidence in her abilities and has been known to break down and cry if she feels as though she's not good enough. This mentality has been shown to be something that many people worry about the most.
As a foil to Midori, she has everything (or rather is viewed as) having everything that Midori wants (ie: The man she loves and friends.) But she holds no hostility towards Midori and doesn't understand why the latter doesn't like her.

Shotaro Satonaka is a young man that wishes to live a simple life. He can be viewed as a "brave hero" type that cares about saving lives and helping as many people as he can. But that's not the truth about him. Shotaro is a young man that's trying to escape the high society lifestyle that he was born into and the verbal and emotional abuse that his father forced upon him since birth. He went through his college years living under a false identity of Shotaro Shiraishi and working his way through college to obtain a degree in teaching. While he was in college he took up the job of being a firefighter to help pay his bills until he could secure a stable teaching job.
When it is revealed that he is really Shotaro Satonaka the heir to the Satonaka Electronics Empire, many people began treating him differently and thus tried to use him for his fortune rather than getting to know who he is on the inside. However he does have a few close friends that care deeply for him and he is deeply in love with Naomi LaClair who is his college sweetheart.
A chain of events ended up separating the two and thus he was entangled in a forced arranged marriage to Midori Sato, a woman that he had no interest in marrying. When he finally reunites with Naomi and decides to marry her it becomes a disaster when Midori decides to force Shotaro to marry her by means of getting rid of the one obstacle in their so-called happy ending...Naomi.
(QUESTIONING) (ANGER)

(RELIEF)
Naomi, thank god you're ok. I swear I won't let anything happen to you again love.
Wyatt Howell is one of Shotaro's close friends. He is brash, a bit on the outspoken side and has been known to say things without thinking. However, when his friends need him he's always there for them. he enjoys working on motorcycles and has a hog that he rides on a daily basis. Everyone usually tries to get Wyatt to open up more and shed that bad boy exterior but have failed to sway him to drop it.
(REASSURING)
Relax man, we'll get Naomi back.
( AUTHORITATIVE)

(TRYING TO CONVINCE MIDORI TO TRUST HIM)
Come on Sato! Take my damn hand and we'll get down from here!
Miguel is a passionate, mature and sometimes easily annoyed young man. He is considered as the level-headed one of his friendship circle. He works at the local firehouse as a firefighter and enjoys doing his job. While he is shown to be pretty passionate about doing his job, he is also passionate and crazy about his girlfriend to the point that he'd do anything to see her smile. He spends some of his free time in the gym keeping his body in top physical shape in case there is a fire to be fought. He is very close to Wyatt and Shotaro but spends most of his time with Wyatt as the two get into sparring matches.
She pulled a runaway bride on you. That's kind of screwed up of her.
(GROANS IN ANNOYANCE) (GETTING PEOPLE TO EVACUATE)
That isn't how you get people to clear a path. This is how...HEY! Everyone in the area please evacuate right now! the ride is on fire and will be closing to be put out.
(CALMLY)
Midori, come on you can trust us. We won't drop you out of revenge.
Valentin is a french young man who is a beautician. He is a playboy and a dandy. He's been known to flirt with many women and has been slapped many a time. While he can be viewed as someone who doesn't care for anyone but himself, he isn't. Valentin cares deeply for his friends and his best friend is Shotaro. Whenever anyone is worried or upset he'll do his best to cheer them up by playing the viola or by telling stories of his home in France. He and his younger sister Jerica moved to America when they were six years old but still speak French to one another. Valentin does, however, sprinkle some french in vocabulary when conversing with people.
We have no time to waste, we need to go save Naomi from Midori.
[APOLOGETICALLY]
I'm so sorry mon cherie, but we need to get through. You see it's a life or death situation. But maybe I can make it up to you over dinner?
[SADNESS]
In the end she couldn't see that we held no grudge against her. All we wanted to do was help her.
Lieutenant Terrence Johnson is a Lieutenant in the airforce and one of Shotaro's best friends. Terrence is a pretty laid-back guy when he isn't working but when he is at work he becomes a serious, diplomatic leader to his troops. He is skilled in flying jets and holds a pilot's license. He does spend any time he is home working at the fire station with his friends. He is currently in a relationship with Judy LaClair whom he considers to be the only woman alive to handle him.
(CALMING)
Calm down Judy. Tell me what's wrong. breathe.
We need to get these civilians out of here. If they stay then they may get in the way of our rescue.
Midori, listen to me. You don't need to do this. How about you give us Naomi and then we'll all get down and you'll be taken to a nice padded jail cell.
Angelina's an adventurous young woman. She is one of the firefighters in Station House #23 and also a paramedic. She can be a bit of a worrywart and tends to worry a lot about her friends and people that are close to her. She's known as the group's mature type. She is also best friends with Naomi and is Wyatt's girlfriend.
Wyatt…are you sure you know how to drive this thing?
[CONCERN]

Jerica is a hopeless romantic that believes in all things love. She enjoys spending a lot of time reading trashy romance novels while hoping to one day experience the same love the heroines in the books experience. However, she has a side to her that is rarely seen as she's always happy and jovial. She can be very much a vindictive and vengeful woman when crossed. Many men that have tried getting fresh with her have ended up with her foot making contact with their "happy places".
While she is only 2 years younger than her older brother Valentin, she acts like the more mature of the siblings. She isn't beyond berating her brother in French and will always do it when the situation calls for it.

A pretty sporty tomboy that isn't afraid to display a feminine side to her. She rushes into things without thinking (all the time) and is almost always ready to help whenever she can. She is a talented mechanic. Kaede is often or not the one who keeps her friends focused on a goal. Kaede is oblivious in love and doesn't know when someone has a genuine interest in her and thus she doesn't realize when someone is truly interested in her. She is good friends with Naomi but spends most of her time with Miguel whom has a crush on her.

Jolinne Phillips is the group's wild child party girl. She enjoys walking on the wild side of life and spends a lot of her time looking for the next place to party. On days when she's not dancing in the clubs, she works as an assistant CEO of a fashion Company known as Wild n' Out Swimwear. She is best friends with Jerica and thus the two make an excellent duo who enjoy life to it's fullest. She is known as JoJo by her friends and family and hates being called by her legal name. She hopes to one day find the greatest party on Earth and wishes to one day buy her own private island in which she will call it Kickitopia where the people's right to party shall not perish.

Judith "Judy" LaClair is Naomi's younger sister. She is very much a sporty young woman who loves playing sports. She is currently in college studying to be a surgeon and hopes to one day be able to help assist doctors in many surgeries. When she isn't studying she is known as the annoying kid sister that hangs out at the firehouse bugging the life out of all of the guys. She is currently dating a young man that's in the air force by the name of Terrence.
Hey, we have a problem here, Kaede's barricaded herself in the bathroom. She says she's not coming out in her dress.
Forget that she named it. Let's pry open the door and drag her out to fix her dress.

Janet Kensington is an on the scene reporter who witnesses the hostage situation.
It's a sad day for those who came to this normally family friendly park for a day of fun that has dissolved into chaos and confusion as the police try to diffuse the situation and talk down the perpetrator. Not much is known about motives but we'll keep you posted as more details unfold.

We are following other news today and to the breaking headline in the East this hour. A standoff in Florida. Police say a woman taking an adult possibly an innocent bystander hostage. Barricading herself atop Spaceship Earth in Walt Disney World's Epcot Center. Tourist evacuated and WNZK's Janet Kensington is on the scene for us.
Thank you, Janet. It is a sad situation for all those involved and we must ask ourselves, could more have been done?

I couldn't make out what was being said but I could've sworn I heard the words revenge.
My family and I were next in line when these two chicks cut in line and ran off through some kind of tunnel.
