Project Overview
When someone suddenly dies during a psychological experiment, Delora becomes entangled in a conspiracy reigning above everything she could ever anticipate.
Weary of being impoverished, Delora Davis decides to enroll herself in a social psychology experiment regarding the Agency Theory. However, when a participant suddenly passes under bizarre circumstances, she's suddenly drawn into a web of conspiracies involving urban myths, feuds, and the very psychological code they were all here for.
How can Delora find the truth when everything seems to be a lie?

Welcome to the Casting Call for the audio drama, Ward-X!
We are looking for talented voice actors to be in our project! The description is listed above. For audition details and requirements, please keep reading.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be 14+. This audio drama will have some adult themes.
- Have a decent microphone with little to no background noise.
- Please have access to Discord. This will be our main form of communication.
- Be punctual, timely, and have a good attitude towards the cast and crew.
- Have lots of fun!

Discord Server
Hello everyone! As the deadline is reaching a close, I have created a Discord server for both cast and spectators. I will be posting a special announcement there later, so if you're interested in the project please feel free to join until I cast everyone (even so, you're welcome to stay even if you don't get cast). There will be other important information for everyone there too. I can't thank you all for the overwhelming response. It hasn't even been 2 days and we almost have over 70 auditions! Because of this, the deadline may be extended in order for me and my partner to cast, but that is still undecided. Everyone here is so talented, it's such an honor <3 - Meg

Delora, 19, is the main character of Ward-X. Although she lives in a low-income household, it does not restrict her from being happy. From books to podcasts, Delora loves learning about the paranormal. Although her ambition and curiosity have helped her learn, they are also always getting her into trouble.
She has a medium-pitched, feminine tone. She speaks very passionately of the things and people she loves.
"I can do this... w-we can do this! We just have to avoid them at all costs. No ifs or buts."
"That's... pretty drastic. I was thinking of being maybe a cook? A babysitter? Something a bit less psychotic?"
(sadly) "I can't believe it. We were so close. So, SO incredibly close. And now she's gone."

Vincent, 22, turns out to be the main love interest of Delora. He’s always been grateful for the things he owns and is very family-oriented, especially towards his little brother. Although he’s dorkishly charming, he’s never had much luck with any other females. He is normally very conservative about his feelings and uses his head more than his heart.
He has a low-pitched, masculine tone. He expresses his emotions through his actions rather than words, so most of the time, he speaks calmly despite the situation.
(quietly, and serious) "I'm thinking, maybe we shouldn't do this. I can't stand thinking of the possibility that things will go wrong. And the consequences will be... dire. I can't lose anyone else."
(melancholy) "It's for me... for us. It's for the family."
"I love you. I love you more than I could love anyone else. Please, just for me, stay here and take care of mom. I promise I'll be back home safe and sound... soon."

Lane, 21, is essentially a loner. Derek likes to call him “Lame” instead of “Lane,” (poor guy). He’s always lived a life of solitude and enjoys being by himself. His friend made him join the experiment as a dare.

"H-hey. Don't do that. You shouldn't project yourself onto others like that, it's psychologically damaging."
"I don't know if I should be nervous or excited. A mix of both, or, perhaps, none?"

Mei, 20, befriends Delora in the ward. She is engaged to her fiance, Derek Johnson, and has a 3-year-old son. She grew up quickly, getting pregnant at the young age of 17. Mei does not have much connection with her family, specifically her father, due to their lack of blessing. Because of this, she has mental health disorders and often hides the pain behind her bouncy, cheerful personality.
She has a medium-high pitched, feminine tone. She expresses her emotions very clearly when speaking, and often remarks quickly.
"How could you not love them? They're so soft, and keep me calm no matter the situation!"
"I love you, Derek. I know you're scared, but I can't do this alone. I need you here with me."
(angrily) "As if! I don't need you looking over my shoulder like that."

Derek, 22, is affianced to Mei, and is the father of their child. He’s often worn from work, as he is often doing so to keep his family happy and healthy, but he does find time to spend with them. He is hardworking and stone-willed, and is often the “funny guy.” Keep an eye out for a poorly timed joke, or a silly nick-name.
He has a medium-pitched, masculine tone. He often keeps his emotions to himself and his fiance.
(baffled) "Are you serious? You can't just rope me into all your crazy endeavors!"
(angrily) "I'm not doing this! Not anymore! I'm leaving this facility and I'm never coming back! And no, you do not have permission to use my data for anything!"

Dr. Wolf, 43, is the organizer of the experiment and leads it throughout. He comes off as kind and understanding but is obviously sleek and sinister.

"I will not ask again. We quiet or be killed, for all I care."
"Subjects, please return your papers before the crack of dusk. I will be accepting them no later."
