Female Voice Needed for Webtoon: Wake the Will
Project Overview
Nin auditions are now closed. There were a ton of great submissions! Thank you all very much for giving it a shot and showing interest in my project! This is a long story with tons of characters, so there will be many more casting calls! Many, many opportunities to come!
Introduction:
Wake the Will is a webcomic series on Webtoon. I write and illustrate for the story. This is an ongoing project that I am doing for fun as a hobby, as the general idea for a card game-based series has seen numerous drafts over the years. With this, I'm telling the final, definitive version of the story I always wanted to tell.
-Summary taken directly from the Webtoon series hub: "To avoid the harsh reality that is life, individuals escape into a virtual reality game based around a trading card game named Wake the Will. One girl enters this world in order to set things right and stand against this false utopia. However, her plans derail, as she immediately encounters a boy around her age, whom is one of many that has given up on life."
What's going into the project:
-I am looking for two voice actors to play these major Arc 1 antagonists. They will have big roles to play in the story's first arc. Please note this.
-This will be a video posted to my YouTube channel, where we will be dubbing over shots of each panel from the webcomic. This will be used to promote the Webtoon. I'm looking to put my own voice work out there in a unique way, with your voice work joining it.
-We're planning to do every episode of the Wake the Will Webtoon. The Webtoon currently has 13 episodes released, with the 14th in production.

This story focuses around players in a VR game playing a trading card game with each other. Players will dramatically play out and announce their moves, as done in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight!! Major Role (Arc 1): (Age 24) Nin is one of the major antagonists of the first arc of Wake the Will. He's always seen side by side with Vishia, who is also a major Arc 1 antagonist. He flirts mainly with Vishia, who he actually has the hots for. He also serves as a "minion" to Arc 1's greatest antagonist, Varzo. Though, Nin uses his connection with Varzo to obtain fancy accessories. His Hack ability enables him to steal cards from other players. He steals in order to unlock a special accessory. once he's collected enough S-Rare cards.
Personality: On the surface, Nin is an arrogant, smooth-talking, flirty guy looking for fancy accessories in the game. Underneath that surface layer, Nin can actually be a caring guy. He's very easygoing as well, usually just going with the flow regardless of what happens. He's always raring to go, constantly looking for battles.
Voice: I'm looking for a mid-range adult male voice. His voice should have arrogance, but still have a sense of warmth to it. Major Role (Arc 1): (Age 22) Vishia is one of the major antagonists of the first arc of Wake the Will. She's always seen side by side with Nin, who is also a major Arc 1 antagonist. Nin often flirts with Vishia, with Vishia secretly liking him back. Due to this, she can't help, but stay by Nin's side, even if Nin irritates her. She also serves as a "minion" to Arc 1's greatest antagonist, Varzo. However, when Varzo tries to order Vishia around, Vishia will usually give him attitude. Her Hack ability enables her to force her opponents to battle her.
Personality: Vishia will usually speak harshly to others. She looks as though she is always in a bad mood. She also thinks highly of her own skills in Wake the Will, sometimes using her Hack to force a battle with someone if she's in a particularly foul mood over something.
Voice: I'm looking for a young adult female voice with a twist of harshness and sounding as though you're in a bad mood. This is a voice I'm much more open to hear what you got otherwise.
