Paul Hikari

About Paul Hikari

All his life, Paul Hikari had a habit of acting out things he saw and heard from animations, video games, audio dramas, movies, and commercials, but it wasn’t until college that he discovered that he could put this habit for good use. Ever since, he has enjoyed immersing himself in the secondary realities of the aforementioned media as an LA-based voice over talent with his warm, powerful voice, dynamic emotional range, and penchant for screaming.

Along the way, he has continued to hone his craft under the tutelage of such greats as Crispin Freeman, Tony Oliver, Mary Lynn Wissner, and Richard Horvitz, as well as on his own. His services are available 24/7 from his home studio and are sure to meet your needs, whether it’s the next great animated movie or an indie horror smash hit.

Outside the booth, he enjoys writing, dancing, editing videos, cooking, and playing video games, both alone and with others. Also, he can eat a whole slice of pizza in one bite.

I have known Paul for quite a few years right now, and I have received plenty of voice work from him. He has worked with me on the Empyrean Pirates, The Golden Pirate, The Adventures of the Vampire Prince, SuperBirds X, and Hurricane Ivan. In The Golden Pirate, he played as the Lookout, the Cook, and the Spanish Captain. In the Adventures of the Vampire Prince, he played as Lucian and the butler Mortimor Lorimor. In Hurricane Ivan, he played as Andrew and Warling. In SuperBirds X, he played as the infamous Serpent King. Overall, he provided all of this characters in some very unique voices ranging from a 13-year-old vampire boy, all the way into a middle-aged Spaniard, then an old Russian cook, and a fantasy villainous character. Not only did he provided some unique voices over the years, but he is also very efficient in maintaining two-way communication and staying well ahead of deadlines which gives ample time for any corrections needed. This guy is great to work with any project, and I would highly recommend him for absolutely any role you would have in mind for him.

    Kind regards,
