Project Overview
New Orbit is a sci-fi top-down hack and slash/shooter game. This story is about a crew of smugglers on their journey to exploring a new solar system. These are auditions for the first level, a tutorial level which includes a short cutscene and gameplay.

The Captain is stern, reserved, with a somewhat soft voice. Approximately 50 years old. He is Polish, but educated in a universal academy, (Speaks with either no accent or a very light accent).
"Captain Speaking, all specialists report to the nav deck immediately"
"If anyone wishes to be released from their contract, I will give you one opportunity to do it right now."
You heard him. Be ready, we board in 15 minutes. *shouting* Full speed to the Ark.
Alina is a young specialist who has joined a smuggler crew to escape the authorities, being wanted for stealing property. In spite of being a skilled sniper, she is unsure of herself, and struggles with mental issues, having an alter ego that constantly abuses her and is a constant negative presence. She outwardly attempts to be cocky, but lacks genuine confidence in herself.

Sketchy cargo runs and watching this mind numbing crap on TV! HA! You got tricked again! And now you’re stuck here, wanted by the governorate. *laughter*......”
Dr. Daniil practices science and medicine, much of which is outside the realm of approved and safe practices. He speaks with eccentricity, and is a bit Crazy. He is also Polish (an Eastern European, German or Scandinavian accent is preferred).
Captain didn’t sound mad… I wonder what he wants
Grigor is rough, hardy and large man with a deep voice. He is good natured and kind, and is good with machinery. He is Polish but universally educated. Ideally, he would have a light eastern European accent, but don't force an unnatural accent as North American, Australian and English accents can work as well. The vocal mannerism is more important than the accent to me.
Well, like you I had a few petty crimes on my record and got blacklisted from any Governate approved employment.

Keep this between you and me. Here's some sleep meds doc mixed up for me. Pretty strong stuff, use it sparingly.
Anton is first mate on the crew. He is generally not talkative and speaks softly, albeit clearly. He is Russian, and can be voiced with an eastern European accent or a native English speaking
The Ark leaves in 10 hours. We are headed back there now, it is advised you prepare for departure immediately.
Our Captain has already been chosen to be a pilot general for the starlane jump, so We’ll be helping fly the ark ourselves. Come prepared, our lives may depend on it.
