Val Serano - Skyrim Mod - Additional Roles
Project Overview
This project is an original Skyrim custom follower mod that has been downloaded by hundreds of thousands of people (Val Serano - Pirate Follower and Quest Adventure at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community). Val is an unreliable narrator who will lie by omission to the player shortly after their first meeting. Over the course of game, the player will uncover the truth behind the lies and evaluate what it means for their friendship. Spanning multiple quests and new locations, the player will experience Val's personal storyline, friendship arc, quest-aware commentary and dialogue, and an optional romance.
This audition is for a recast of the existing supporting character Fathis Indaryn. It includes all of his existing lines and a commitment to do a future expansion of similar scope. Voice actors auditioning are encouraged to provide their own original voicing of Fathis; it is not desired to match the prior style, accent, or delivery as I'm looking for a fresh interpretation of the character.
Please submit audition files representative of your best audio quality no later than November 10, 2025 at 0800 EST. The overall project contains mild swearing, mature themes, and a romantic component (not related to Fathis), so voice actors must be 18+.
The role will be paid in the "suggested/high" tier from http://www.voiceactingclub.com/rates/. A set fee or an hourly session rate is proposed, but this could be paid at a per-line rate if desired. This is a fully self-funded passion project that is ready to record, and I am prioritizing good quality audio and acting performance.

Fathis is a 30-year-old Dunmer (Dark Elf) pirate and the younger half-brother of the lead character, Val Serano. He is initially at odds with his brother and dies in a roadside confrontation where he is discovered by the player. He is later resurrected by malevolent, supernatural forces (Daedric Prince Molag Bal) and also appears in ghostly and monster-influenced, distorted flashbacks in a dungeon sequence. Over the course of the story, he is rescued and reconciles with Val. Seeking American or British Isles accents but open to others. The role has about 90 unique lines with plans for additional story content next year.
Line 1 context: The player discovers a mortally wounded Fathis on the side of the road while searching for clues to locate Val. Fathis is unable to answer most of the players questions as his time is running out. He provides a small clue then dies.
Line 2 context: A disguised monster is masquerading as Fathis in a memory sequence where Val, with the player's help, must confront and correct the past mistakes that destroyed his relationship with his brother. I will add effects in post to provide the monster component, so this line should be delivered as if Fathis himself were speaking. It is an emotional confrontation where things first turn sour and Fathis feels both his brother and father are against him.
Line 3: In a ghostly memory scene, it's revealed that Fathis had been ensnared by a cursed amulet. He was forced to send souls to the demon (Molag Bal) behind the curse, and eventually the demon demanded the soul of his brother. Fathis rebelled and was punished harshly for it. Once again, I will add the effects in post, so this line should be delivered as if Fathis himself were speaking.
