Val Serano - Skyrim Mod - Additional Role
Project Overview
"Val Serano. Thief. Pirate. Liar. And your new best friend. Whether you both survive the experience remains to be seen."
This project is an original Skyrim custom follower mod. Most roles have been cast previously; this audition is for a supporting character named Ravani.
Val is an unreliable narrator who will lie by omission to the player shortly after their first meeting. Over the course of his personal storyline, the player will uncover the truth behind the lies and evaluate what it means for their friendship. Spanning multiple quests and new locations, the player will experience Val's personal storyline, friendship arc, quest-aware commentary and dialogue, and an optional romance.
Please submit audition files representative of your best audio quality. Even though it is not directly applicable to Ravani, the overall project contains mild swearing, mature themes, and a romantic component, so voice actors must be 18+.
This is a paid role in the "suggested/high" tier from http://www.voiceactingclub.com/rates/. The lesser cost of hourly or per line rates will be used. This is a fully self-funded passion project that is ready to record as soon as role is cast, and I am prioritizing good quality audio and acting performance.
Line 0 Context: Ravani has just been caught red-handed attempting to pick Val's pocket. He's asked her what she thinks she's doing, and she reflexively lies attepting to blame another trouble-maker kid in the city. She is defensive and worried, but she's also got some spunk.
Line 1 Context: After a brief conversation with Val, it's apparent that Ravani has nowhere to go. He has just asked her if she'd like to come with him and the player or stay on the streets. She's immediately taken a liking to Val. As kids do, she switches to a cheerful, stream-of-consciousness way of talking when she's happy and feeling comfortable with someone.
Line 2 Context: After being adopted by Val and the player, Ravani is attempting to persuade him to teach her how to pick pockets better. Val does have a criminal past, which Ravani has correctly picked up on. When questioned what she plans to do if taught how to improve her stealing, Ravani tells a carefully worded lie by omission - something she's also learned from her adopted dad, who praises her.

Ravani is a 10 to 12 year old Dunmer girl (aka dark elf). She is a scrappy orphan living on the streets of Windhelm, and is adopted by the lead character in the mod (Val) and the player if they choose to marry. She has several scenes intertacting with both Val and the player. The role has about 50 unique lines with potential for more.
