Project Overview
Hello there. I am Daneyboy98, a fellow voice actor just like you.
Welcome to the Pokémon: One of a Kind [Audio Reading] casting call.
We are in need of urgent recasting of a previously cast role, along with some extra roles that weren't listed in the previous casting call.
STORY DESCRIPTION
What started as an ordinary adventure became a life-changing experience for Louis Serrano. After gaining an unusual ability, he and his new friends, Taki and her Totodile set off on an expedition to find pieces of a sacred artifact belonging to a secret tribe in the Johto Region. It's a race against time.
PROJECT INFO
This project is being used to create an audiobook/audio reading of the fanfiction "Pokémon: One of a Kind".
At the beginning of this casting call, there will be a small number of roles to audition for. But overtime, more roles will be added.
This audiobook/audio reading, when completed, will be published on YouTube OR Audible for everyone's viewing/listening pleasure.
REQUIREMENTS
- Deadlines are typically 1-2 weeks from when we send out the Script.
- Your Microphone MUST be clear of background noise and echo. Please record your Audition with the Microphone you will be using.
- If you are auditioning for the role of a Pokémon, try to have the Pokémon noises sound close to the ones in the anime.
- When recording the audition lines, PLEASE be in the moment. This project lives or dies on the actor's ability to convincingly emote the character's given. Put yourself in their shoes and feel.

Louis (Lou-ISS) Serrano is the main protagonist of Pokémon: One of a Kind. At the age of ten, he decided against being a Pokemon trainer. At the age of thirteen, he grew tired of being left behind and proceeded on a new adventure. One day, after saving Taki's Pokemon, Louis is invited to her home in the forest. After drinking a special kind of tea, Louis gains the ability to talk to Pokemon. With this ability, he and Taki are on a quest to recollect pieces of a sacred artifact.

(casual) Well, there's one thing my Mom has taught me. And that is to 'expect the unexpected'.
