Christmas was supposed to bring people together…
In the winter of 1984, Frosthaven was preparing for its biggest Christmas yet. The town was filled with decorations, music, advertisements and the familiar promise that this really would be the happiest season of the year.
But something was wrong.
“Ancient” VHS tapes begin to surface from Frosthaven’s businesses, homes and Christmas events. At first, they appear harmless…festive advertisements, children’s programmes, company training tapes and recordings of Christmas celebrations.
Then the tapes begin to change.
Frequent overlapping of video. People disappear from recordings. Familiar faces appear where they shouldn’t. The same faces that keep on to continue stretching after the music has ended. And certain people seem to remember events that never happened.
At the centre of it all is Frosthaven‘s Winterland Lodge, a Christmas project that was supposed to bring the magic of the season back to life.
Edward Dickens and his business partner Jacob McCarthy were determined to make Frosthaven work once again. But as the project begins to unravel, their partnership takes a darker turn.
The more tapes that are uncovered, the more it becomes clear that Frosthaven wasn’t simply a Christmas attraction.
Something was waiting inside it.
And whatever happened that Christmas was never meant to be remembered.
’Tis the season to be jolly.
So why is everyone smiling

Voice Actor
You’re a mean one… Mr. Polar Grinch…
Grimmel The Polar Bear hated Christmas, the whole Christmas season! Oh please don’t ask why no one quite knows the reason!
It could be perhaps his shoes were too tight.
It could be that his head wasn’t screwed on right.
But I think the most likely reason of all, may have been that his heart was two sizes too small. :(
Grimmel is the (quote on quote) “villain” of the gang. He can be nice but that would only be a Christmas Miracle that occurred once a year. Another thing, he is MASSIVE around 10’2 in height! Sheesh!!
COMMITTED ROLE. If you are not committed you will be recasted

Jim Carrey’s Iconic voice is the main inspiration, with a polar bear twist.
There is a goofy video from a few years back on how to do the voice. Here is the link lmao: https://youtu.be/32PHuac5QJc?si=tpPZCBaTlmlcWJwp

Tinsel The Lynx is the most festive lynx in the world! She has quite an “ADHD” over the top personality who really has a hyper fixation on the Christmas Season.
she doesn’t really have a character for inspiration however think early 70s-80s Teenager Cheerleader Energy.

Nick Frost was one of the first people who was involved in the Frosthaven Project back in the 70s, he was heavily influenced by his girlfriend “Rudy Redford” (NOT WIFE) to help with the project because he liked the season himself and enjoyed seeing her happy. Nick is one of those guys who you can say is really good at a bit of everything; Craftsmanship, Engineering, you name it he can do it.
Voice inspiration: Very nice and chilled back dude who doesn’t really have any enemies and is there for the vibes
He also has a fatherhood side to him too as he knows hoe to look after children along with being busy with his work

Girlfriend of Nick Frost. Mother of two, very festive all your round. She was Nick’s inspiration for the character Tinsel the Lynx. She is Christmas 24/7 and seriously addicted.
voice inspiration: She has an 70s/80s mother tone to her like the warm voice from a Christmas song at the time.

Well I dunno how this could be done. Would be pretty sick if two identical twins actually voice the characters lmao.
Oscar and Max Kampton are both identical twins with a clear brotherly rivalry. Oscar is the smart, charismatic golden child loved by everyone whereas Max is the troubled son who tried just as hard as max to get recognition but at the end of the day fails :(.
Voice Inspiration: Tragic Characters, need to show that they have issues with eachother however can get along. Although Oscar is charismatic he can be tormenting and manipulating. Both sound exactly the same. Very well known American voice.
COMMITTED ROLE. NO COMMITMENT = NO ROLE
