Unsound Minds: The Clarevine Epoch Trailer

Unsound Minds: The Clarevine Epoch Trailer

Project Overview

Reminiscent 64 is a studio working on a video game called "Unsound Minds: The Clarevine Epoch" that we intend to take to Kickstarter to finish. We are at the point where we need to create a trailer. We have decided that one of the game's characters, God, will have a speaking role in the trailer.

If you are chosen, then you will get to do a few lines for the trailer. In the event that we later decide to have voice acting for the entire game or for sequels, we will likely contact you to try and have you reprise your role.

You are welcome to look at our Twitter, Tumblr, and Reddit if you so desire or if you just have questions!

  • Unsound Minds: The Clarevine Epoch Visual Novel Project is Live!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the project page for the visual novel itself is live! You can find the casting call page at https://www.castingcall.club/projects/unsound-minds-the-clarevine-epoch-visual-novel Good luck with your auditions, everyone!
  • A Decision Has Been Made

First, I want to thank everyone who auditioned. A lot of you had good takes. A few of you I found to be really good but just didn't sound like God to me. So, because of that plus the fact that I didn't expect 80+ people to audition, I'm going to open a new project in the coming days with voice roles for every character in the full game and I'm going to have fully voicing the game be a stretch goal in the Kickstarter. Because there's going to be a lot of lines for each character, I'm going to need to figure out what a good price to list would be without scaring everyone off, but once I've figured that out, you should see the project show up in the coming days. I urge all of you to try for a role there if you so desire. Now, as for the role of God, a lot of you fit. But, in the end it came down to a choice between Luis Bermudez, Sam English VA, Zack Smith, Voices of John, and Rudy Abel. It was hard to pick between you all because you all fit pretty well in my mind! But, in the end, I went with Sam English VA. He just fit too well! Luis, Zack, John, and Rudy, thank you for auditioning, and I hope you all audition for a part in the full game. Your voices are too good waste!
  • The Deadline is Just About up.

Now that auditions are just about over, I'm going to take a day or 3 to go over all the auditions again and decide on a voice. You should hear about a decision from me on that third day. Once again, thank you everyone for auditioning!
  • Made What the Payment Amount Means Less Vague.

I changed the job description wording to make it more obvious that I meant $175 period and not per word, or per anything. Be sure to re-read the job description! If you're not okay with it, now's your chance to back out!

NOTE: It's $175 period to voice the lines for the trailer. Not per hour, not per minute, not per anything.

God is He who created the universe and formed mankind. In Unsound Minds, God is capable of taking on any form. But the form he usually takes is that of Jesus Christ. As Jesus Christ, He normally wears an all-blue suit with a blank white card in His breast pocket.

Since He has been around since the beginning of time in this universe, He has committed to memory the knowledge of all cultures and history itself. However, due to the immense amount of knowledge He must retain, He has developed a rather peculiar sense of humor and a rather fond affinity for ancient man-made technologies like the LaserDisc or Nintendo Entertainment System.

For ages upon ages, God has also been using much of His power keeping The Great Horror sealed in The Dreamlands. This prolonged period of constant use of His power has taken a toll on Him. As of the beginning of The Clarevine Epoch, God is at the end of His line, and His power is soon to fade.

Not even the Creator is as perfect as the Bible claims.

  • Hate is a poison. Wasted energy that consumes and mangles those caught in its wake.

  • They did have some heft. The light-cards went the other way. What a disaster those things were... The

sound you're hearing is music of old. It was popular way back when.

  • Though not perfect, my seeds have grown into beautiful flowers.

They will weed out Your cancerous existence from all reality.
