Project Overview
About Us: PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING TO AUDITION!!!
Thank you so much for considering being a part of the Travel Trials Team. We appreciate your interest in wanting to join our passion project. We are looking for fresh and familiar faces to be on our voice cast. Travel Trials: Greek Gallivant is an upcoming show by Sincere, as well as our growing staff.
Travel Trials is a scripted animated reality show, following 18 contestants and 3 staff members as they travel through Greece, from the crystal blue beaches of Mykonos to the ancient ruins of Athens. There are 21 planned episodes of Travel Trials, with a bonus reunion episode. Our season will feature heartfelt, powerful, character arcs, classic reality TV drama, a hint of romance, high stakes challenges and strategy plays, and a whodunnit mystery with a thrilling conclusion! All of the characters play pivotal roles in the story. Travel Trials is truly anyone’s game to win.
We are so proud to announce that we are currently looking for talented voice actors to be a part of our show. All character breakdowns will be presented in our Character Guide and Voice Lines tab. BIPOC VA’s and trans/nonbinary VA’s are especially encouraged to audition! We welcome auditions from all experience levels, whether you’re a seasoned pro or this is your first VA audition, we look forward to hearing from you!
Casting:
June 14th will be the final day to audition. Depending on auditions, we might do callbacks for all roles, or cast some roles based on initial auditions and do callbacks for other roles. We will reach out via email/Discord to provide more information on next steps after June 15th.
Compensation:
At the moment, we are currently running as a volunteer nonprofit passion project, built off our passion for diverse representation, authentic storytelling, and great reality TV! We are currently an unpaid project, perfect for those who want to get your name out there, have an opportunity to work on a project, or build a voice acting reel. We appreciate anyone who would like to work on our team.
AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS! (Please follow these closely.)
Each character will have three sample lines. Read all three lines and please record up to 2 takes of each line in an AABBCC format. We ask the first take to be read verbatim, and it is encouraged (but not required) to add improv to the second take!
No slates, please!
We welcome auditions from all experience levels, whether you’re a seasoned pro or this is your first VA audition - BIPOC VA’s and trans VA’s are especially encouraged to audition!
Please choose a maximum of five characters to read audition lines for. You may still be considered for characters you didn’t audition for if we liked your auditions in general, so don’t worry about missing out.

If you can sing we would love to hear it! Two characters - Reynaldo and Maya - are required to sing. Please include 30 seconds of you singing a song of your choice at the end of your audition if you would like to be considered for these characters, or if you just feel like sharing your singing voice with us!
REQUIREMENTS
All actors must be 18+ by the time auditions close, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Voice Actors must have a clear microphone setup. Doesn’t even have to be professional as long as you have a clear sound and no background interference. But professional setups are always encouraged!
All Actors must have a Discord account or be willing to make one. Most of our communication is on our staff server so it is required to be a part of our team.
This is a volunteer project, but we all want the project to be the very best it can be! Actors should provide a timely delivery of lines, keep a professional relationship, be willing to take feedback, and have a strong sense of communication.
Have respect for the staff and fellow voice actors, and maintain an inclusive atmosphere for all identities.
Display proper conduct when representing the show online and engaging with the fanbase.
Do NOT participate in or promote the leaking of any official TT content before public release. (This is grounds for immediate termination.)

Voice Description: Commanding, confident, and calculated. Her voice should convey years of experience and determination, with a no-nonsense attitude that cuts through any fluff.

Angel is a little insecure since she’s newer to a lead role, but her confidence grows throughout the season.
Traits: Quietly passionate, level headed, compassionate and kind but stands her ground, with a good sense of humor
Interactions: Angel is a compassionate host who cares about her contestants beyond the show. Her interactions with Cyrus - whether Cyrus is offloading work onto her or they’re watching contestant interactions with popcorn in hand - provide comedic value to the show, but they also develop a mentor-mentee relationship over the course of the show. Angel is also friends with the cameraman, Holden, who has a small crush on her.
Voice Description: Her voice is warm, sweet and steady, with a soothing tone that can contrast with her lead host's ‘just here for the check’ energy and bring clarity to even the most chaotic moments, but the VA should also be able to be comedic when the situation calls for it.“Welcome, Travelers!
