The Ones Who Stayed is a high-energy original musical dramedy about friendship, internet fame, and learning what success really means in the digital age.
The story follows aspiring streamer ErikaBandita, a passionate but struggling content creator broadcasting to almost nobody while dreaming of making it big online. Alongside her upbeat best friend MissyNeko, she takes a desperate gamble on an expensive streaming “masterclass” hosted by controversial influencer Lavali — a manipulative internet celebrity who teaches aspiring streamers that success comes from toxicity, controversy, and selling yourself for clicks.
Instead, Erika finds unexpected connection with fellow students MooseOnTheLoose, a carefree streamer who values community over clout, and GGImBetter, an arrogant but talented gamer obsessed with proving himself. What begins as an awkward online meeting quickly evolves into genuine friendship as the four start streaming together, turning chaotic gaming sessions, ridiculous challenges, and natural chemistry into viral success.
As their channels explode in popularity, sponsorships roll in and their audiences skyrocket. But fame comes with a darker side. Hate comments, pressure to stay relevant, falling view counts, and the constant demand to perform begin wearing the group down — especially Erika, whose self-worth becomes tangled in numbers, validation, and public opinion.
When a wave of online harassment pushes Erika to disappear from streaming altogether, her friends rally around her. Together, they confront the toxic culture surrounding internet fame and rediscover why they started streaming in the first place: laughter, creativity, and genuine human connection.
