The Mirrorverse
Project Overview
A group of four kids discover a set of keys that let them travel through mirrors into another dimension: The Mirrorverse.
I'm looking for voice actors to cast in an upcoming animated musical project! The music demo playlist can be found here:

(The majority of these songs are sung by Jeremy and Bea, who are already cast, but the song 'Far Far Away' is sung by Alex alone, and 'The Great Unknown' is a group song with Jeremy, Bea, Alex, and Flynn.)
The Mirrorverse is an adventure and slice of life story about two siblings, Jeremy and Bea, who start school in a new town together, moving into their aunt's old house. Their whole year changes when they discover a set of keys that lead to another world. But to their dismay, they discover that their aunt may have been secretly destroying this alternate dimension for her own gain before mysteriously disappearing, leaving the inhabitants stranded in a wasteland and very, very angry.
This is my first time doing a paid project, so please bear with me! I'm looking to cast the main cast first, but everyone who auditions will be considered for future characters and background voices for this first pilot.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a good quality mic.
- Must have a way of contact outside of Casting Call Club, and a working paypal account.
This project is marked as no-budget but you will definitely be paid - I'm still a student, and this is sort of like a thesis project, so I don't have a lot of money, so I don't really have a firm number at the moment, but I will update you as I gather more funds.

Surly, rough, delinquent Alex is currently a junior at Pewter Prep. She's a troublemaker with a sensitive side, and just wants to get by.
(Alex is Asian American, and it is important to me that you be Asian if you apply for this role! This project will constantly be updating, and there are many other characters that will become available as time goes on!)
(Alex walks into the room, exasperated.)
ALEX: Flynn, what are you doing here?
(She shakes her head.)
No, wait. You. Beetle-whatever. What are you doing in here?ALEX: (Groaning) Look. I am one assignment away from failing Ms. Herd's class, and I am not going to spend my summer trapped in this cinderblock prison when I could be doing literally anything else.
(Alex walks over and grabs Bea by the arm.)
ALEX: Let's. Go.
Alex has singing lines in this project - please sing a few bars for your audition!
[Voice type: Alto]
Football player, golden boy, and sweetheart of Pewter Prep. A jock with a heart of gold, who first reaches out to Jeremy as he's struggling through his first day.
(Flynn is African American, and it is really important to me that he be played by an African American actor! If you aren't African American, this is an ongoing project - there are currently some roles and there will be many roles more that will open up in the future!)
(Flynn takes his jacket off and tries to use it to wipe at Jeremy's shirt. Jeremy swats him away, agitated.)
JEREMY: (Stammering) Igh - ugh - just - stop. Please.
FLYNN: Sorry. I'm sorry!
(Laughing awkwardly) It's a good thing I decided to go for iced coffee today.(He bends down and picks up Jeremy's textbooks, and hands them to him sheepishly.)
FLYNN: I'm Flynn. You're new here, right?
FLYNN: No way, you're taking physics and chemistry and biology? In the same semester?
Wow. You're either crazy, or... some sort of super genius.FLYNN: We're alive! Dear, god, we're alive!
[Note: Unlike the other characters, Flynn doesn't have much of a singing part, only doing a few lines in one of the song. He's somewhere around a baritone. However, please do add singing examples to your audition!]
The other half of the dynamic rogue duo, Ivy is one of the creatures of the Mirrorverse. She has an extensive knowledge of the environment, and how to use it to her advantage. She has a very very minor part in this but will become more significant as time goes on!
IVY: Ever since those pits started popping up around the forest all those years ago, most of us carry these around as a precaution. They're called Clockflower.
JEREMY: Look, this is our only way home. We need it.
IVY: Yeah? Well, it's our only way out of home. We need it more.
(The two visibly stiffen at that name. It seems they'd struck a chord.)
IVY: You're related to that monster?
Hailing from the Mirrorverse, Ash is part of a dynamic rogue duo with Ivy. He's quick to anger, doesn't think before he speaks, trips over his words, and is very hotheaded, but can be... begrudgingly humble and softhearted at times. He has a very very minor part in this but will become more significant as time goes on!
ASH: (Poking him in the chest with his finger) You think your so-called lovey-dovey aunt was so lovely and perfect? TAKE A LOOK AROUND. Look at what she's done to this place! Look at everything she's destroyed and tell me she wasn't evil!
ASH: You humans. You're only good for trouble. Ruining everything, wherever you go, just like that last human woman -
(Ash, who had been quietly sitting in the corner, looks up.)
ASH: I still think you're trouble. But... thanks.
(Looking up at the setting sun) We should get going. We'll find some other way out of this place. (Turning to Ivy) Promise.
