The Many Voices of William Tyrester
Project Overview
"The Many Voices of William Tyrester" is a short audiostory (probably about 10 minutes long) of a boy named, of course William Tyrester. William, however, has been diagnosed with psychosis, and has voices in his head. This short audiostory will tell his tale of what his life is like with his friends, his life at school, and his medical help. William commonly has intense mood swings thanks to the voices, and shows the journey of him figuring out just how real these voices are. The story has a bittersweet ending, with William getting better, becoming happier, but still living with the voices.
This project will not have visuals and will not last long. William Tyrester is just a small project for fun that I am making. Takes away some of the stress from college!

Yurot is the voice of judgement.
Yurot is one of the 6 secondary voices in William Tyrester. She's rather heroic, almost like a mentor to Will. This is Will's second favorite voice, second only to Archie. Yurot is like a mother figure to Will, since Will never had a mother during his growing up.
Due to Yurot's personality, like Katy, she needs to sound mature and experienced, but also assured and stern. Imagine a warrior girl in medieval armor. Epitome of strong independent woman.
(Authoritatively) They spurned you, boy! Show them what justice truly is!
(Quizzically) Hmm... how interesting. This result is perfectly balanced. Maybe you should let Pozan settle this one.
(Dutifully) It's my job to protect you William, it's not like Alex or Archie are going to do that, are they?
Xavier is the voice of happiness.
Xavier is one of the 6 secondary voices in William Tyrester. He is the second most childish of the voices, with the first being Zack. He is never seen in any other mood than happy, and is a huge optimist.
Due to Xavier's personality, he has a childish and excited voice. Imagine a child on their way to Disneyland. He needs to sound inviting and friendly.
(Happily) Don't worry Will! We'll get through this! I swear!
(Excitedly) Stop panicking Zack! New people, new opportunities! This could be the opening of a brand new road!
(Caringly) Careful, Will. Things seem hard now, but I promise, they'll get better!
Katy is the voice of memory.
Katy is one of the 6 secondary voices in William Tyrester. She's by far the most human of the voices, having the most normal reactions to things. She is the only voice that is inevitably lost by William when he forgets his true self thanks to Alex and Pozan.
Due to Katy's personality, she needs to sound mature and experienced with her knowledge. She needs to act like she knows everything about Will, mostly because she does. I don't have a reference for this voice.
(Reminiscently) Remember the time... with Stacy... that was fun... if only we could go back...
(Authoritatively) The past is what makes us who we are today! Moving on won't help, we'll only forget what we were, and we'll lose who we are
(Sorrowfully) It's been fun... goodbye.
William Tyrester is of course the main character. He is the boy in the casting icon (the dark side of him is the voice of Alex incarnate). William has a medium pitch voice, imagine Makoto Naegi from Danganronpa 1. He's very emotional, so make sure you can do a large range of emotion! He speaks relatively slowly and clearly, unless under the influence of another emotion.
(Joyfully) Hi! My name's William! It's nice to meet you! Not many other people talk to me...
(Angrily) Well if you don't care enough then maybe just get out of my life!
(Fearfully) We're trapped here... there's never an escape...
Alex is the voice of rage.
Alex is one of the 3 main voices in William Tyrester. Alex is rude, angry, and commonly quite dark. He is the left side of the profile picture incarnate.
I will be playing Alex, unless someone can pull of the voice better than I feel I can!
Due to Alex's personality, his voice needs to be deep and brooding, almost sort of evil villainy. Not the pantomime type, though. He's very serious and down to Earth, often plain out horrible.
(Snarkily) You know full well there's no way you can get rid of us
(Angrily) I'LL KILL HIM! ARGH!
(A little caring) William, you're not the crazy one here. We're the ones making the decision for you. I'm sorry that you're not in control
Alex is the voice of hope.
Archie is one of the 3 main voices in William Tyrester. Archie is kind, caring, yet often times insecure of his own inability to help.
Due to Archie's personality, his voice needs to be quite light, almost angelic, and trusting. Archie is one of the few positive voices withing William Tyrester, and needs to be shown as the kindest.
(Determined) There's gotta be a way I can help you Will...
(Hopeful) Don't worry guys, nothing can go wrong!
(Sorrowfully) I promise... I'll fix this...
Antonia is the voice of logic.
Antonia is one of the 3 main voices in William Tyrester. Antonia is intelligent and, of course, logical. Very down to Earth, almost emotionless. She calls herself "the one who thinks."
Due to Antonia's personality, her voice needs to be medium pitch, cold, and distant. She almost always speaks monotonously. Imagine a secretary, but one who is incredibly used to her job. She sees herself as a professional.
(Emotionless) You aren't thinking rationally. Get a hold of yourself, Archie.
(Quizzically) Now why could that possibly be happening?
(Angrily) Alex, can you shut up for one minute? Unlike you I'm the only one in this damn place who thinks.
Pozan is the voice of chaos.
Pozan is one of the 6 secondary voices in William Tyrester. Pozan is psychotic however also dimwitted. He considers the most chaotic option the best one. This is the voice William fears the most
Due to Pozan's personality, his voice needs to be high pitch, voice breaky, and fast. He sounds permanently delighted, even when he's not. He sounds like a higher pitch version of the Psychos from Borderlands.
(Madly) Everything's gonna go to hell!
(Laughing) Let's just kill everyone here, what could possibly go wrong?
(Frustrated) A few knives to their throats and all our problems would be solved, but nooooo let's do things the normal way.
Zack is the voice of fear.
Zack is one of the 6 secondary voices in William Tyrester. Zack is the most childlike of the voices, and obviously also the most frightened. He is the only voice with an age but that's because I have a specific idea
Due to Zack's personality, his voice needs to be childish, fast, and whimpery. If you want a picture, imagine a child who's scared of the monster under the bed.
(Fearfully, like teeth chattering) Oh god! He's gonna get us all killed! Again!
(Frightened, but pretending to laugh) Oh yeah I'm... haha... fine... just... loving life, you know?
(In terror) No! Please don't kill us! We're only childr-- we're only a child!
Priscilla is the voice of control.
Priscilla is one of the 6 secondary voices in William Tyrester. She's basically the self-crowned queen. She is very egotistical and rude, yet considers herself very nice and fair. She gets angry and the tiniest things, however.
Due to Priscilla's personality, she has a very high pitched and posh voice, hence the English accent tag. She needs to appear as above everyone else.
(Royally) Oh darling, don't worry, things will all be under control soon!
(Royally) Of course everything always works out for us! We're basically the king and queen of this school, aren't we?
(Angrily) You think that's leadership qualities? Stupid boy, Stupid!
