Project Overview
Kyethia’s Backstory Needs Your Help! – Come help a friend in need.
For those unfamiliar with The Lucky Die, it is a D&D actual play podcast set in a magical fantasy style world and the story is set around three convicted criminals who are trying to prevent the apocalypse in which their gods are getting murdered. The game play is edited with all music composed in house, and many in world character’s dialogue replaced with voice actors.
Our beloved Patrons have funded us to produce a series of scripted audio dramas set within the world of Bikron, focusing on important NPCs and their backstories.
We’re looking for fresh voices to bring our new characters to life in a story all about a fan favorite non player character - a sister following the deathbed wishes of her sister, in roder to save the world.

Requirements:
Reliable, clear sounding microphone. 1-2 takes of each line. Please feel free to improvise a little.
Audition Due: October 31st 2022 (Audition deadline moved due to overwhelming, unexpected, interest).
Other: Unless specified, characters will not be reoccuring. Actors are welcome to audition for more than one role. We’re conscious about representation, so regardless of colour, disability, gender or orientation, feel comfortable to apply for any role you feel comfortable portraying - this is a fantasy world where who you are is the most important thing. Character Description:
Drow rogue from Diskora, he is someone hiding illegally in another country. He is a smuggler, moving goods and travelers from one continent to the other. He is friendly, observant, and has a strong sense of right and wrong.
Role Requirements:

(beat, to HUALING)
You know Kyethia makes the most incredible gruel - with cinnamon and ginger - breakfast has never been the same!Line 2: Zeethi, she seems all right, just focused on the mission of guarding our party. The other one… Nibbles. Not sure about him.
Character Description:
Hualing is a gnome, who is from the other continent. Hualing has been travelling around and now its time to go home. They’re excitable, happy and looking forward to returning home. A little clumsy.

Character Description:
Gnome Magic User. A criminal who is fleeing to Diskora. This asshat will clearly use whatever they have to to get where they want to go. Nibbles will throw everyone and anyone under the bus.

Character Description:
She is a tiefling who had an ancient entity sharing her existence. This being was recently parted from her, but unfortunately the process will lead to Demara’s death..
Role Requirements:
USA accent, or close enough to it
There is a lot of exhaustion, coughing and death for Demara
(speak as if having a vision)
Oh sister… so many could die… everything could end… apocalypse... (shallow breathing, very upset) ...you have to help… you can help the elf…. the being within him can… the being is part of stopping the apocalypse…(calms) there is so much to do… the elf… he will… he will be important to you… he is a prince… third in line to the throne… it is vital… you must find him…(small laugh that turns into a cough, DEMARA sips, then smiles)

Character Description:
They are an elderly healer of Illmayter, whom is a god. Someone kind and caring.
(gently)
I am afraid so, my lady. Whatever the separation did to her, the damage cannot be healed by mortal hands.Speaking plainly, my child, Demara does not have time, for unless Ilmayter himself smiles upon your sister, then she will not see another sunrise.
Character Description:
Goliath barmaid. They are friendly, can take a joke and is very teasing. They are aggressive when needed.
Role Requirements:
There’s a bit of shouting involved.

Character Description:
A very typical barfly. They’re quite drunk. Old, Young, rich, poor, entirely up to you. Someone who would be in the world’s worst dive bar.

Character Description:
Goblin Fighter, a fierce and angry person who is there to protect the group as they travel a dangerous path. They’re a part of a resistance movement and are targeted by the government. They’re always happy to fight, if it’s needed, and can make the hard decisions. Also enjoys lighthearted teasing.

Character Description:
A drow bounty hunter, a leader of a group of ruffians who are tasked with capturing members of the Assembly. Generally a despicable person, but they are authoritative and to the point.
