The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Project Overview
This project is an experimental idea our team came up with for our own next original project, those who are casted will have the chance to be recasted immediately once we begin producing our next big release. The final product will be a ROMHack, and the actors will be accordingly credited.
Voice Actor
The princess, what else do you need to know? Well, This is a lead role.
She and I aren’t as different as she thought. I really do understand why she needed our Triforce.
Yet, after all we've seen, do we not share the same wish?
Such power is only to be wielded by a young man of a pure heart. I see him standing right before me!
Voice Actor
The other princess, this one’s a lot colder and mature, she would kill a baby to see her land go back to its glory days. A very important lead role.
Welcome to Lorule. My name is Princess Hilda, and I have failed you in every way.
As the Princess of Lorule, it is my duty to save my kingdom. So I mean it with the best of intentions when I say... I must have your Triforce of Courage!
My Lorule may remind you of your own home. But, in fact, our kingdoms are as different as night and day. Worlds apart, as they say.
Voice Actor
The hero’s counterpart. Silly on the outside, a coward in the inside, brave mind. Lead role.
Forgive me, Your Highness. I'm a coward at heart. There was no way that I had the courage to stand up to you and Yuga. But I was smart enough to go to Hyrule. I knew they'd have a hero who could help me.
It's a real treasure, despite how it looks... and smells.
I’m a traveling merchant... I found you all alone and brought you here.
Voice Actor
The main villain. An evil sorcerer who deceives Princess Hilda. Lead role
A fiend? How easily you stoop to petty insults. My name is Yuga. And I have come here seeking nothing less than... perfection.
Any volunteers to be my next great work of art? A bloodkin ritual is necessary for our sacred goal!
You’ve arrived just in time! A splendid collection, don’t you think? All Seven Sages, and Zelda herself… But even they pale in comparison to my NEXT artful creation. ME! I will use the Sages to reach the one who shall help me attain true beauty. I mean, of course… GANON! Behold! The Triforce of Power! Join with me! Let us destroy all ugliness in this world or any other. We shall be TRULY superior!"
Voice Actor
Priest’s daughter who’s a nun at the shrine. descendant of the seven sages, Seres a chill young woman. Side character
Oh, hello, Link. Did you come to see my father? Or maybe you're here to see Captain...?
Thank you, Link. I'm sorry to have caused you so much trouble. Yuga... He turned me into a painting and brought me here. But I felt your presence the whole time. Your courage gave me strength. Now, as a Sage, I will do everything I can to help you save Hyrule.
Please! Someone! What is this pale freak doing? Don’t get near me! [Scream]
Voice Actor
Sahasrahla’s trainee. He thinks he’s a genius. Side character.
Oh, please, must everyone make such a massive fuss over a simple task? Honestly, it is completely exhausting being the only one around here with an ounce of true talent. Master Sahasrahla constantly worries, but he fails to realize that a prodigy of my unparalleled caliber has absolutely everything under control. Did you see the fluid grace of my wand work just now? Perfection! Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the local bards are already writing sonnets about my sheer brilliance. A true genius simply cannot hide his light from the world, you know!
Stand back, foul aberrations of the dark! You face Asfala, the premier disciple of the legendary Sahasrahla, and the true vanguard of Hyrule’s destiny! Do you honestly believe your crude, shadowed malice can pierce the brilliant armor of my lineage? Look upon my blade and despair! Even if the sky itself should fracture and the earth crumble beneath my feet, my name shall echo through eternity as the hero who shattered your reign. You are nothing but fleeting dust before the storm of my technique! Brace yourselves, for I shall paint this battlefield with the glorious colors of your absolute defeat!
Wait, who did you say you were looking for? Link? That quiet little blacksmith’s boy who wanders around looking entirely lost? Ha! You must be joking. I highly doubt he could tell a magical artifact from a common frying pan. If Hyrule is truly waiting on him to save the day, we are in serious trouble. No, no, leave the heavy lifting to a real professional. Watch closely, and you might actually learn a thing or two about how a true hero comports himself. Try not to blink, or you'll miss the greatness!
Voice Actor
The Zora Queen. She cares for her folks and usually gets in trouble. Side character
Oh, you needn't bow so low! While I hold the crown, I prefer to meet my friends as equals. The bond between the Zoras and the surface world is something I cherish deeply. My heart swells with joy whenever I see travelers appreciating the gifts of our rivers. To rule is not to sit high above on a throne, but to nurture and protect the fragile life around us. If you ever find yourself weary from your long journeys, know that our waters will always be here to wash away your exhaustion.
I used to spend my mornings swimming through the river before I ever had a crown to worry about. My mother would call for me from the palace steps, and I would pretend not to hear her until she threatened to come after me herself. I suppose some things never change. Even now, I sometimes find myself slipping away from the palace just to sit by the water and listen to it. The river has always been the one place where I never had to be a queen. I could simply be myself.
The waters... they are growing so terribly cold. I can feel the gentle pull of the current, drawing my spirit away from the domain I have loved so dearly. Do not weep for me, my sweet Zoras. A river must eventually reach the vast, endless sea, and my time to flow onward has come. Hold fast to one another, keep our sacred streams pure, and never let the darkness muddy the beauty of your hearts. My love will linger in every drop of rain that falls upon Hyrule, watching over you always.
Voice Actor
The old wise woman who also helps link in his journey. Side character
You speak of the legendary blade as if it were a mere toy for adventure. Let me tell you of the day the Hero of Legend drew the Master Sword from its pedestal in the Lost Woods. It was not a moment of grand celebration, but one of heavy sorrow. The castle had fallen, Princess Zelda had been captured, and the weight of an entire world fell upon a single boy’s shoulders. That blade does not choose just anyone; it demands a spirit of pure courage, tempered by sacrifice. When you look upon history, do not just see the triumph at the end. See the grit, the wounds, and the unyielding resolve it took to pull Hyrule back from the brink of total annihilation.
Step closer, Link. The eyes of the castle are everywhere, but this ancient passage remains known only to the Royal Family and those sworn to their shadow. This path will lead you straight past the guard towers and out into Hyrule Field undetected. It is dangerous, damp, and crawling with things that hate the light, but it is your only clear shot.
You've grown stronger since the day you first stumbled into the sanctuary, I'll give you that. But swordplay alone will not break Yuga's twisted art. To rescue the Sages, you must understand that our power isn't just something to be found, no, it must be awakened through your own resolve.
Voice Actor
Young boy, nature lover, hell even Snow White chewed. Link’s friend, he’s a great kid who goes missing. Side character
Shh... Link, look over here! Look what I found hiding in the tall grass! It’s a tiny little baby bird, and it isn't even scared of me! I think it knows we're best friends. Watch this, if I whistle like this [Whistle] it flaps its little wings! Do you think Princess Zelda has birds like this at the castle? I bet she does.
Hello? Is... is anybody out there? Link? I thought I heard someone playing a really pretty song deep in the trees, but now everything has gone completely quiet. The woods look a lot bigger and darker than they do when we play here during the day. Mom? Dad?
Hey, Link... when you go back to Hyrule, can you do me a really big favor? Can you stop by the blacksmith shop and tell my mom and dad that I'm okay? They must be crying so much because I went missing. Tell them that I'm being a very brave boy, and that I'm helping the legendary hero save the world! I have to stay here in the Sacred Realm with the other Sages to hold the light open for you, but as soon as you win, I'm running straight home to give them the biggest hug ever.
Voice Actor
The strong man who lives near Death Mountain. Tough in the outside, sweet in the inside. Side character
Now that is what I call a hard day's work! There is absolutely nothing better for the soul than the ring of a pickaxe hitting a fresh vein of ore deep in the mountains!
Hold it right there, you pale freak! I don't know what kind of twisted business you've got going on in Hyrule Castle, but you walked into the wrong mountains if you're looking for an easy target! You think that fancy little paintbrush of yours intimidates me? Bwahaha! I’ve cracked rocks tougher than you with my bare hands! Come on then, step up! Let’s see if your magic can stand against the raw strength of a true mountain man! I won't let you take another step toward my cabin!
Well, sitting around shivering over a dream isn't gonna get the ore mined! If those old shadows are actually crawling back up into our world, I need to make sure my arms are stronger than they've ever been. My ancestor gave everything he had to buy us this peace, and there's no way I'm letting some pale weirdo with a paintbrush ruin that legacy. Link is gonna need a lot more than just those Power Gloves I gave him if things are about to get this crazy. Time to stoke the cabin forge, clear my head, and get to work.
Voice Actor
The witch’s granddaughter. This young girl her broom. Side character.
Oh, great, look who it is. Hey, Link! Don't just stand there by the door coughing from the fumes, get over here and hand me that jar of Hinox tooth powder. No, the blue jar on the top shelf, not the green one! If you touch the green one, we’re both going to end up turned into frogs for a week.
Look at the ground... it's tearing apart. The mountains are crumbling into giant pits of nothingness, and the sunlight is dimming. It's all decaying right in front of my eyes.
No, no, no, the air is getting way too thick! Stop stalling, come on! My broom is down, I'm crashing! [Scream]. Stay back, Yuga! Don't you dare point that brush at me, I'll turn you into a- [scream]
Voice Actor
The very hero. Unfortunately, Link has no spoken dialogue, so he will be the game’s narrator, for example, when the player stops to read a letter, sign or manuscript, it will be voiced as an inner dialogue. He’s the main character but-
This story has been passed down from generation to generation.
Then, the hero with the blade of evil’s bane defeated the big villain and everyone lived happily ever after.

Voice Actor
The final form Yuga takes, Side character. We need someone who can make a demonic, creepy voice.
You thought I was playing YOUR game? I am doing my OWN thing.
I will shape this decaying world to my image!
Two beautiful pantings, don’t know which is prettier, but I do know which has what I want!
