PLOT
"The Friendless Game", the wonderous deadly game for all ages! (Not Recommended For Bullies..) Valerie, A Junior Student, moves to town with her family with one goal in mind for her new high school; Popularity. An expert in making "friends", Valerie treats this like any other school day, soon finding out it isn't exactly.. The nicest approach. Valerie didn't see it coming when an anonymous killer kidnaps her and several acquaintances from just an innocent party! The Friendless Game.. isn't the kind of game they expected, especially with Valerie. Three Situations. Three situations VALERIE has to answer correctly, them regarding her past. But there's a problem... Valerie has a reputation she doesn't want to let go of. Even if that means someone has to die.

AUDITIONING REQUIREMENTS
* AGE - You must be over the age of 15 in order to audition. If you are under this guideline at the moment but will meet it soon, (3-6 months) it is an exception.
* DISCORD REQUIRED - When auditioning, please link your DISCORD below! This will be the production's main source of communication.
* EMOTION & EXPRESSION - I will be looking out for this especially, a good take on emotion makes a great impact on the character! If the character is specifically listed to have a monotone approach, that would be the time to have that kind of voice rather than a casual expression. Personal direction is provided within the audition lines and character description. If you have any concerns about the context, feel free to contact me here.
* LIMIT BACKGROUND NOISE - Little to no background noise in your audition.
* BE RESPONSIBLE - This is pretty self-explanatory. If cast, please oblige to the given deadline. Voice Actors will be given approximately, if not more, 3 WEEKS to turn in lines, with a 5-day extension MAX. If unable to submit lines in both scenarios, please come to me privately and we will set up an appropriate deadline for you.
* MICROPHONE QUALITY - USB and XLR microphones are highly preferred.
* AUDIO FORMAT - Please send your audition/lines through mp3. or wav. format!
* ADDITIONAL - I am free to hear your interpretations of these characters and lines as well! This goes for improv and several takes, but keep it close to what's written already.
You are allowed to audition for more than one character.

Animation
If you're curious about how future episodes will be animated, here are previous works of mine that include a similar style. Each episode will be screenshotted and screen recorded (assisted with green screen) carefully to smoothly sync the character's approach in the story. Special scenes will have layer-to-layer swaying animation to make movement cleaner.

As time goes on, I'm growing more comfortable in contributing my art to my gacha creations (take this casting call as an example!), so using full-color animatic type animation is going to be used from time to time for the future of this project. **THIS IS A LEAD CHARACTER**
Besides being the master of the Zzzs and snores, Connor Morris is the aggravated and judgemental twin brother of Milo. Until the end of his days, he's dedicated to being the protective role model of his small family with their father out of the picture and their mother working two jobs to support the three, just leaving him and Milo. However, he isn't one to forget grudges, he's the one that holds them, and his vengeful spirit will not let the other person live it down. Not with much attention at home and refusing to share his free time with people outside of his family, he much rather keeps to himself and strives to do his own thing until someone messes up.
Age: 17
Voice Range: Mid-Low .North American accent . .Otherwise, this is an open-book audition.

**THIS IS A LEAD CHARACTER**
Morgan Wells is the cool and collected angel that everyone wants, but doesn't deserve. Morgan is too good for this world, compassionate and considerate for others, even if they don't do the same. Holding the hands of fallen friends, even if she can't muster to hold her own. The warm-personality, self driven, and kind friend that you would wonder how they got this far in life despite their struggles, and in all honesty, Morgan doesn't know herself. She comes from a line of actors, actors who couldn't bother acting like the parents Morgan deserved since she was young. Despite the struggles she faced in her youth, it never stopped her from trying to make a name for herself, by being the best person she can be that everyone around her wouldn't dare trying the same. Morgan's a star in her own way, running top track, a highly participating theater kid, a helpful hand backstage, or being your friend. She's not the type to overlook your misery, she wouldn't let you suffer alone, she won't give up on you despite it all, even during this twisted game of death. This girl's presence is her entire purpose. Without that, she might just convince herself that there's nothing else for her. That she's nothing. Nothing at all. And she sure hopes it doesn't start that way after "The Friendless Game".

**THIS IS A SUPPORTING CHARACTER**
A widowed man of one child, David Winston is often an isolated and grungy motorcycle guy kind of dad. And far worse than his daughter (Aubrey), his temper rages off the walls and back. Halfway down the road of giving up, he has little hope for the people responsible for his daughter's safety and is only willing to bring his own matters to the table. His opinions of serious consequences always come off as negative and dismissed, even for the worst. His rage towards the world is brought as his journey goes of finding the whereabouts of Aubrey.

Voice Range: Mid-Low . . David has a slight gruff or said rasp inside his voice.
"(raving with rage; hopeless) Do you know how hard it is to walk down these streets and only hear the excruciating pity among those stupid, empty faces you see each morning? When you have to manifest every single miserable day knowing your child is out there lost and forgotten by the hands of who knows what?! *response; quiet, pissed* .. Then you would have a general clue on why I don't want my daughter to end up like her blasted mother."
"(disgusted; serious) I knew that Stone kid was nothing but trouble."
"(dismissive; negative calm) Oh give it a break already. You can save the celebration when we see skin and bones in a casket."
**THIS IS A SUPPORTING CHARACTER**

Roselyn Trevors is the chill, careless, full of gossip, and goofball of an older sister who's dedicated her life to making sure she and her baby sister (Tamara) escape the intoxicated figures she refuses to address as "Mom and Dad". Coming from a household of addicts, she's proud to come as far as bringing herself and Tamara to America, where the both of them can start over with their lives. Happily single and pursuing her dream career as a freelancer, Roselyn only wishes the same for her sister and everyone else, but battles her own war of inner worlds and enclosed thoughts without having the need to ask for help, an old habit that followed her home since childhood. Though Roselyn may seem like she's never there (physically or emotionally), working full-time and always out and about with friends and traveling all around the world, she's still there to say "Too hell with it, everything will be alright.", whether you like it or not.

"Oh please, I wouldn't do that to you. The crime of my life is this stinkin' kitchen itself. *exhales* Good luck, sis."
"(baffled; serious) You can't be serious. You don't remember the infuriating toxins the old man had in the bathroom? None of that? Goodness me, maybe I am turning out like them after all. Downright mad. (*response*) (chuckling, shrugging) Oh don't get so emotional, you know I'm jokin'. You have fun now."
"(comforting; having an one and one talk) Nice try. I've watched your silly shows with you each and every day just to pretend we're the heroes bringing our reflections justice. I know you can help those kids just like you helped me. They won't see it now, but they will. . eventually. I promise."
**THIS IS A SUPPORTING CHARACTER**
Detective Davis, or better yet, Derrick Davis, is the best techy savvy, second-hand man in the field. Derrick, just like Harvey (LEAD DETECTIVE), is dedicated to his work in the force and his work ethic isn't meant to be toyed around with. And like Tamara, he can take and even crack a good joke during the case. Being mixed with the two, his eyes are set on the same goal and is often in the middle of the two puppy-snipping bickerings. Smart with circuits and persistent with the job, he is sure to be reckoned a good colleague on the go. Derrick is built on motivation and gut instinct and will do anything to prevent tomfoolery from and outside of the media. As much as he wishes to log off of life, he cannot.

"(leading the plan; in the moment) Stay in a group, and be careful. Tamara, hand me that pipe. (*Tamara tosses the pipe over, clenching the pipe tightly in his hand, bashing the vent open. As the vent lid falls to his feet, he smiles and looks everyone in the eye with determination.*) Alright. Whos' first?"
"(confronting; reassuring, concerned) ..You say it's your fault when it's not. You can't keep beating yourself up over those kids. Aren't you tired of it?"
These contain a variety of characters, therefore, I am looking for a VARIETY of actors! I'm looking for a lot of diversity for these auditions, so if you want to do an American or another accent, go for it, if you want to use a voice you haven't had the chance to use yet, ABSOLUTELY DO IT! Whether it be younger allusions, background characters, strict parents, television actors, reporters, or teachers. I'm looking for a few applicants to replicate my editing style. "The Friendless Game" is under strict conditions for animation, including attention-to-detail animation from facial expressions, lip sync, and a character's body language through screenshots and screen recordings from Gacha Club. The animation style will NOT be drastically changed from this style to Live2D or any other animation programs, as I have not trained myself to learn that skill. Those accepted will be trained by me to replicate my style to keep the flow consistent throughout the episodes.
I am unsure of casting this position, as I come from a background of doing this solo, but as time goes, I can't assure a well-paced production like I intended. I ask you to look at my past animation work and then submit your best work in a similar style. I am not expecting identical perfection! Remember, I will be demonstrating the process! - What apps/programs do you use? (EX: Kinemaster, Capcut, etc)
- Is there a watermark in your videos from said app/program?
- What is your experience in this field? (EX: How long have you been editing/animating? Have you worked on other projects?-- Being your own projects? Or other teams? If you apply to any of these, please list them.) This will not affect your application's acceptance.
- Are you willing to listen to criticism if something needs to be modified or changed?
- When are you available? (EX: 2-3 days a week? Only weekends? Every other day?) This will help me narrow down the scenes among the members.
- How long does it take you to animate/edit a 1-minute scene? Please be honest. This will not affect your application's acceptance. :)
- What scene length are you comfortable animating? (EX: 45 seconds or less,1-minute or more, over 2 minutes, etc) And how scenes many are you confident in being assigned? (EX: Shorter scenes may be assigned.)
- Are you comfortable sending your submissions through Google Drive? The reason behind this is that "The Friendless Game"'s production and communication is strictly on DISCORD. A MB limit may compress the quality of the video or fail to send it entirely. I recommend creating a business email!
DEADLINES for Animators depend on the length of your scene. None of you are machines, and I will not treat you like such. Scenes, by standard, are typically due 3 weeks, if not more, a month after assigned, but you are free to message me PRIVATELY about extensions if needed, said extensions will be determined from there on.
You are expected to follow along with the script and storyboards provided for the scene.
DO NOTE THAT IF YOUR STYLE DOESN'T LOOK SIMILAR TO MINE, AND YOU'RE UNABLE TO REPLICATE SAID STYLE- There will be special scenes where that animation style may suit! Thank you for your time!
