Project Overview

High school can be a drag—especially when you’re stuck in classes you can’t stand. Looking for an easy escape, our protagonist.. YOU! (Yes - You!) stumbles upon the only club with an open spot: The Cooking Club.

What starts as a simple excuse to ditch class quickly turns into something far more delicious. Between chopping, stirring, and whisking up new dishes, unexpected sparks begin to fly. Will you master the recipe for love, or will things boil over? With a cast of charming clubmates, secret ingredients of romance, and just a pinch of chaos, The Cooking Club is serving up a story that’s equal parts heart-warming and hilarious. So grab your apron—because in this kitchen, love is always on the menu!

- Daisy – The Childhood Friend

Sweet, reliable, and always there to lend a helping hand, Daisy has been by your side for as long as you can remember. She may not be the best cook, but she makes up for it with enthusiasm (and a few questionable culinary experiments). Could there be more than just friendship simmering between you two?

- Isabella – The Shut-Off Cook

A master in the kitchen but cold as ice, Isabella keeps her heart locked up tighter than a pressure cooker. She prefers working alone and doesn’t take kindly to distractions—especially you. But if you’re patient enough, you might just be the one to melt her frozen exterior and taste the warmth beneath.

- Evelyn – The Outgoing Club President

The heart and soul of The Cooking Club, Evelyn is as bold as the flavors she creates. Always energetic and ready to push you out of your comfort zone, she believes that cooking (and love) should be done with passion. Can you keep up with her fiery pace, or will you get burned?

- Akemi – The Short-Fused One

Small but mighty, Akemi’s temper is as explosive as an overheated pot. She’s quick to snap but even quicker to blush when flustered. Beneath her sharp tongue lies a heart that’s waiting for someone who can handle the heat. Are you up for the challenge?

As we ignite the ovens and prep our biggest dish yet—The Cooking Club—we need your support to make this visual novel as flavourful as possible! From sizzling character art to a story that simmers with romance, every ingredient counts in crafting the perfect experience. Note for anyone applying via Casting Calls: This project has a current ideal release date between Mid 2026 and Early 2027.. therefore we won't be making any instant decisions with picking VA's! We will be looking for some people to come in as the initial "Beta Version" voices for the trailers and so fourth which we may contact you about (instead of being a main role and such) - more roles will slowly be uploaded over time and updates will come in due haste.

In her mid-30s, she’s the kind of woman who makes everyone feel like they’re family the moment they step into her home. With a voice that’s soft yet full of warmth, she exudes an air of calm and understanding, always there with a kind word or a homemade treat.)

    • Teacher #1 (Mr.Harris) (Mr. Harris is a no-nonsense, middle-aged teacher who has been through it all. In his late 40s, his patience is worn thin by years of dealing with rebellious students and their antics. His voice often carries a tone of tired exasperation.)

    • Main Character's Mom (Susan) (Susan is the epitome of the caring, reliable mother. In her early 40s, she balances a nurturing presence with the strength to support her family through thick and thin. Her voice is soothing and warm, always offering comfort or advice whenever the main character is in doubt or need of guidance.)

    • Main Character’s Dad (David) (David is the steady presence in the main character’s life, balancing his role as a father with a deep sense of responsibility. In his mid-40s, he carries an air of wisdom and patience that has earned him respect from everyone who meets him. His voice is deep and calming, with a warmth that can put anyone at ease. David is the type of father who believes in letting his child find their own way but is always ready to lend a hand or offer advice when needed.)

    • Sarah (The Rival) (Sarah is from a rival school, and the main character doesn’t meet her until a local cooking tournament, where they find themselves in direct competition. At 17, she’s already a force to be reckoned with in the culinary world. Her voice is sharp and confident, exuding a natural arrogance that makes her seem untouchable. Sarah’s been trained in a prestigious culinary program and has a reputation for being incredibly skilled in the kitchen. She’s not one to back down from a challenge and is always looking for ways to outdo others, especially when it comes to cooking.)
