The Card Tells Cartel Show Bible

The Card Tells Cartel Show Bible

Project Overview

Magic has always been the world's most powerful force. Back when magic was unregulated, the planet was an endless warfare and bloodshed. To bring order, the Magic law and policing forces were created, ruling to protect magic bearers and regular folk alike.

These laws have stood the test of time, meaning these magic laws are fair, right?

Meet Jacque and Gorsmic, two Graduates from Succiduous School of Wizards and Witches, who end up broke, jobless, and unwanted by the mainstream Wizarding guilds, turn to Mr.Ranygazo. Mr.Ranygazo the Magical Cons-man, deals with illegal enchanted contraptions that always have unpredictable and wacky results.

It's up to Jacque and Gorsmic to deliver these unstable, insane, and questionably legal magical contraptions to all sorts of customers. But each delivery comes with its chaos, whether it's the buyer or the item, or their own (mostly Jacque’s) incompetence.

The show is a PG-14 comedy that isn't afraid to explore topics such as: good and bad aren't black and white, guilt, and questioning society.

Jacque is the man with the plan of the two. All his thoughts hang out in his head for 0.00002 seconds before he believes it is a good idea. He’s very extroverted, coming off as a bit too outgoing.

All of his magic skills tie back down to his huge imagination, which is why his best class was Potions because of how easy it is to be creative with Potions to problem solve.

He always was a misfit being a jackalope, having a mother who's a rabbit and a father who's a deer. So he did not have any friends outside of Gorsmic.

Gorsmic is the more cautious of the two. He is also quick to trust people, which is shown when he is tricked into the lifestyle by Jacque, and over time, he finds out, they get in trouble with another illegal shop and asks Mr. Raygazo for protection. Now knowing fully that what they do can end them in big trouble with international wizarding law, he is very quick to stop any haywire customers. He is also somewhat socially awkward, not always knowing the right thing to say, especially around Klara, whom he is quick to have feelings for.

Though he is very protective of who he cares about because he feels as if almost nobody cares about him and has slight abandonment issues, which translates into the type of spell he's best at doing, which is defensive magic.

Very mysterious but very zany character because he mostly keeps his personal life out of his business, Ranygazo’s Enchanted Thingamajigs. He’s very understanding and cares about his employees, though sometimes their well-being can be put aside to make an extra dollar. Something that would be in the show is him struggling with his schizophrenia and how he tries to drown it out using medication.

They're quite known to stare deep into your soul through the tinted lens of their mask. Plaguie's Speciality is in Biological magic, leading them to keep a room in the shop full of severed body parts and keep a head alive as a pet.
