The Banished Realm
Project Overview
Hey everybody Swonic here and this is my new series called The Banished Realm. As much as I would love to work on this series I am only one man and there is only so much I can do on my own which is why I need help assembling a team. I need comic artists to help me draw out the comic, preferably in a cute anime artstyle, similar to Pokemon) and writers to help me write and evolve the story, plot, lore and character arcs. If your interested DM me and we'll talk about your role in my team
A long time ago, in an age of fantasy and magic, humans and magical creatures lived alongside each other. Unfortunately many species of magical creatures prey on humans. Vampires, Sirens, Wendigos. Humanity eventually got sick of magical creatures so they created a new spell, a spell that banished magical creatures into another dimension. Humanity banished all magical creatures into this other realm which has later been called The Banished Realm, magical creatures have later been forgotten over the centuries and have faded into myth.
The magical creatures in the Banished Realm later colonised the realm and created their own civilisation. Some magical creatures hated the humans because to them they were banished for being different, they want to go back to Earth and wage a race war with humanity for revenge. While other magical creatures don't hate humans, they understood that they were afraid for their lives and were just defending themselves, they want to go back to Earth and re-establish friendly relations with the humans and live amongst them once again.
Meet Arthur Westfield, a teenage boy who has somehow isekai'd into the Banished Realm. Watch as he attends the Guardsman Academy to learn about magic and one day return home. All while having to deal with the hatred of the magical creatures, accusing him and making him responsible for the actions of his race.
This is an unpaid passion project BTW.
