Project Overview

'The Archon' follows Christopher Boaz, a man finding himself in the strange world of Hiraeth when going to work one day. On his journey to find a way out of the dangerous realm and reunite with his wife, Melody, he meets a couple notable characters. A strange, dandily dressed creature known only as Dr. Fender, and a young doll named Maddelyse. And another watching him from the shadows, The Archon.

  • Pics and Roles

    I've added drawings (made by yours truly! 🤭) to most of the characters and a new role! I would also like to remind anyone who has auditioned or is going to audition that I allow resubmitting! This will generally help your chances at getting cast, and try out different things for various characters!

    And one last thing. If you get cast, it is required that you join my discord server, as that's where most of the production will be taking place.

    If you're not cast, you can still join, the more the merrier!

A fairly minor role. Vilad is the designated hatter of Hiraeth, living in a musty, cluttered hat shop. Where he lives with his 'daughter' Maddelyse. He, like Fender, is a creature of Hiraeth. But instead of an eager-to-please tone and a helpful attitude, he's quite devoid of emotion. He's not exactly monotone, just sounding sort of uncanny, like he's imitating a human. He has a more calm and smooth way of talking.

Music to get a feel for him: Main theme of Alice: Madness Returns, and 'Madness' from Alice: Madness Returns.

A fairly major role. The 'daughter' of Vilad Grimm. After something quite traumatic, she's left love-starved and with broken trust. When Chris enters the hat shop she takes interest in him as he's a human. (Not romantically)

Music to get a feel for her: "La Petit Fille de la mer" by Vangelis, "Baby, mine" from Dumbo, and "Jacob and the stone" from Minari.

(She does have stitches on her mouth but I forgot to add them. 😅 It's not something you need to know to audition for her, but I don't know, I wanted to point it out)

Major role. The strange and eccentric friend of Genevieve. He's quite invasive, both physically and emotionally, but at the same time, he has a devilish charm to him. He takes quite the interest in Chris, curiously inspecting his features and mannerisms. He can seem creepy at times, but still maintains his charming nature. Try to aim for a more sleezy, smooth tone of voice.

Voice claim: Cowslip from Watership Down.
