Love this! Though I do have a couple notes! Maddelyse is a little lower (not too low) and closed off. So try going a little lower and a bit slower. That is, if you want to. Thank you very much for auditioning!
Will do! 🫡
Voice Actor
A fairly major role. The 'daughter' of Vilad Grimm. After something quite traumatic, she's left love-starved and with broken trust. When Chris enters the hat shop she takes interest in him as he's a human. (Not romantically)
Music to get a feel for her: "La Petit Fille de la mer" by Vangelis, "Baby, mine" from Dumbo, and "Jacob and the stone" from Minari.
(She does have stitches on her mouth but I forgot to add them. 😅 It's not something you need to know to audition for her, but I don't know, I wanted to point it out)
(Watching from behind a stack of hats) A human?
(interrupting Vilad) Enough father. Sir, come outside.
(After Chris mentions a crudely done stitch on her arm, she ignores his comment but it clearly gets a faint reaction) What is a human doing in a place like Grimm's? I don't recall the human residents having access.
