Ability: Earth Armour
Weapon: Hammer

Personality: Friendly, protective, supportive, determined, dependable, hardworking, stubborn, and extremely driven. Kazuki naturally puts other people before himself and feels responsible for keeping everyone safe. He has a strong protective instinct and can push himself far beyond his limits if someone he cares about is in danger.
Height: 6’3”
Birthday: 8/8
Nationality: Japanese
Background:
Kazuki grew up under the expectations of his mother, Shiji Hayashi, the current Number 1 Legend. Watching her protect people inspired him to become a Legend himself, but it also gave him a fear of failing the people who rely on him. He became extremely dedicated to training and often pushes himself too hard because he believes being strong means being able to protect everyone. His Earth Armour allows him to create powerful protective armour from surrounding earth and stone, making him one of Class Zero’s strongest pure combat fighters.
Kazuki has known Nagi Haruto since Grade 3 of elementary school, and the two eventually fell in love during their first year of middle school. Their long friendship is a huge part of Kazuki’s life, and Nagi is one of the few people who can tell when Kazuki is pushing himself too far.
During the war, Kazuki’s biggest lesson is that protecting everyone does not mean carrying everything alone. He has to learn that letting other people help him isn’t weakness.
Tone of voice: Warm, confident, energetic, reassuring, and protective. Can become very firm when someone is in danger.
Accent: Japanese
Voice type: Medium-low male voice; warm and steady, with a strong protective presence. Becomes louder and more intense during battle scenes.

Ability: Ice Creation
Weapon: Katana
Pronouns: He/Him
Personality: Reserved, logical, observant, intelligent, calm, dry, dependable, and quietly caring. Nagi tends to think through situations before acting and rarely panics. He has a very dry, deadpan sense of humor and can casually say something brutally blunt without even realizing how funny it is. Despite his reserved personality, he deeply cares about the people around him and is especially protective of Kazuki.
Height: 5’8”
Birthday: 16/8
Nationality: Japanese
Background:
Nagi used to act before thinking, and one of his impulsive decisions resulted in someone getting hurt. Since then, he became extremely careful and analytical, believing that thinking everything through will prevent him from making another mistake. He eventually became one of Class Zero’s most strategic members.
Nagi has known Kazuki Hayashi since Grade 3 of elementary school, and the two fell in love during their first year of middle school. Their relationship developed from years of friendship, making Kazuki one of the people Nagi trusts most.
During the war, Nagi pushes himself far beyond his normal limits by creating enormous amounts of ice to protect his teammates and control the battlefield. His biggest struggle is realizing that he doesn’t always have to make the perfect decision or handle everything himself. He has to learn when to stop and allow others to help him.
Tone of voice: Calm, quiet, controlled, and slightly dry. Rarely raises his voice unless the situation is genuinely serious.
Accent: Japanese
Voice type: Medium-low male voice; smooth, calm, and slightly monotone, with a subtle deadpan quality.
Love interest: Kazuki Hayashi
(Standing beside Ren) hey Kurogawa, you okay? You looked upset.

(Putting a hand on Kazuki’s shoulder) you’ve always been a good friend, Kazuki
Name: Akira Fujimoto
Age: 15
Ability: Fire Manipulation
Weapon: Chain Blade
Pronouns: She/Her
Personality: Passionate, stubborn, dramatic, determined, fiery, expressive, courageous, and fiercely competitive with herself. Akira puts her whole heart into everything she does and absolutely refuses to let one failure define her. She can be incredibly intense when she’s motivated, but that intensity comes from genuinely caring about what she does.
Height: 5’7”
Birthday: 19/4
Nationality: Japanese
Background:
Akira once suffered a major defeat in a tournament that she had worked extremely hard for. Rather than allowing that loss to define her, she decided that one defeat would never determine her future as a Legend. She became even more passionate about training and improving herself.
Her Fire Manipulation reflects her personality perfectly: powerful, energetic, and difficult to contain when her emotions run high. However, her stubbornness can cause her to push herself too far instead of recognizing when she needs to step back.
During the war, Akira’s determination becomes both her greatest strength and one of her biggest weaknesses. She refuses to give up even when the situation becomes overwhelming, forcing her to learn that perseverance doesn’t mean ignoring her own limits.
Tone of voice: Energetic, passionate, expressive, and confident. Often gets louder when excited, angry, or determined.
Accent: Japanese
Voice type: Medium-high female voice; bright, powerful, expressive, and capable of switching quickly between dramatic intensity and genuine warmth.
Love interest: None
(Grinning confidently) I hope none of you expect me to easy on you just because we’re classmates!

Name: Ron Asakura
Age: 16
Ability: Sound Manipulation
Weapon: Bow
Pronouns: He/Him
Personality: Creative, sarcastic, observant, witty, laid-back, perceptive, playful, and surprisingly thoughtful. Ron notices tiny details that other people overlook and often uses humor to keep situations from becoming too tense. He can be incredibly unserious with his friends, but when something genuinely matters, his joking stops immediately.
Height: 5’10”
Birthday: 3/1
Nationality: British-Japanese
Background:
Ron was born in Britain to a British mother and Japanese father. Although he inherited his father’s Japanese appearance and was given a Japanese name, he grew up surrounded by his mother’s British culture, which gave him a distinctly British accent and a habit of using British slang.
He speaks Japanese fluently but still sounds noticeably British while speaking it, which sometimes catches people off guard. His family is also known for their ridiculous mother-son banter, with Ron and his mum constantly having petty arguments while his Japanese father struggles to understand half the British expressions they use.
Ron developed his Sound ability alongside his talent for observation. He learned that listening carefully could tell him things that simply talking never could, making him an excellent analyst during missions. His ability allows him to manipulate sound, but environments with little or no sound can severely limit him.
Tone of voice: Casual, sarcastic, witty, and relaxed. Usually sounds like he’s one second away from making a sarcastic comment. Becomes noticeably more serious and controlled when someone is in danger.
Accent: Strong British accent
Voice type: Medium male voice; smooth, slightly raspy, naturally sarcastic, with a relaxed British delivery.
Love interest: None
(Completely unimpressed) “Are you actually serious right now? Because that might be the stupidest thing I’ve heard all week.”
(Annoyed, but clearly used to this) “Oh, for fuck’s sake. You absolute muppet, what were you thinking?”
(Observant / Serious) “Wait. Stop. Something’s wrong. Look at the ground, those footprints weren’t there before.”
Name: Kaito Shimizu
Age: 15
Ability: Water Generation
Weapon: Tachi Blade
Pronouns: He/Him
Personality: Chill, relaxed, humorous, friendly, easygoing, dependable, and calm under pressure. Kaito usually keeps situations from becoming too tense and prefers to stay level-headed rather than panic. He’s the type to make a casual joke in the middle of chaos while still quietly looking out for everyone around him.
Height: 5’9”
Birthday: 3/11
Nationality: Japanese
Background:
Kaito’s ability allows him to generate water, rather than simply manipulate water that already exists. The more he sweats, the more water he is able to produce. The water he generates is completely new water and isn’t recycled sweat.
His ability makes him extremely useful for both combat and survival, but generating large amounts of water requires physical energy. Kaito can drink the water he creates, but he cannot generate food, calories, or nutrients.
Kaito’s calm personality is something he relies on heavily. He believes that staying composed helps everyone around him stay calm too. During the war, however, he becomes separated from Nozomi, Itsuki, and Yuna and ends up isolated on the opposite side of Japan for the entire conflict.
Being completely alone for the war pushes his usual calmness to its limits. After the war ends, Kaito remains missing for a week until Koi’s technology detects his life signal. His experience forces him to confront something he normally avoids: he doesn’t always have to handle everything by himself.
Tone of voice: Relaxed, casual, warm, and slightly playful. Usually sounds completely unbothered, but becomes quieter and more serious when genuinely frightened or emotional.
Accent: Japanese
Voice type: Medium male voice; smooth, relaxed, slightly husky, with an easygoing delivery.
Love interest: None
(weak, emotional, finally letting his guard down) “Ron… I thought I was gonna die out here.”
(calling out, trying to stay calm) “NOZOMI! ITSUKI! YUNA! …You guys better answer me. Seriously, this isn’t funny.”
(Slightly teasing) hey Koi~~ wanna train with me
Name: Dai Taguchi
Age: 15
Ability: Plants
Weapon: Whip
Pronouns: He/Him
Personality: Sweet, gentle, protective, caring, patient, thoughtful, soft-spoken, and dependable. Dai naturally looks after other people and has a strong instinct to comfort anyone who is frightened or struggling. He can be cheerful and genuinely happy, but he also carries grief and exhaustion that he doesn’t always show.
Height: 5’2”
Birthday: 6/8
Nationality: Japanese
Background:
Dai grew up in a town where war was a normal part of life. His father, Okero Taguchi, was a soldier who taught Dai about plants and affectionately called him “little sprout.” His mother, Miyako Taguchi, loved gardening and taught him that plants need care and patience to grow.
Both of Dai’s parents died during the war. After losing them, Dai eventually hid inside a bunker, where another frightened girl found him crying and simply stayed beside him. She didn’t need to fix anything—she just stayed. That experience taught Dai how powerful it can be to remain beside someone when they’re scared.
His Plant Manipulation reflects that philosophy. While war is associated with destruction, Dai’s ability allows him to create and control growth. He uses vines, roots, flowers, and other vegetation both offensively and defensively.
Dai’s greatest strength is his ability to stay beside others—but his character arc is learning that he deserves someone to stay beside him, too.
Tone of voice: Soft, warm, gentle, and reassuring. Usually calm and patient, but becomes firm when protecting someone. His voice can become quieter and more emotionally vulnerable when discussing his parents or his past.
Accent: Japanese
Voice type: Medium male voice; warm, gentle, slightly soft, with a comforting quality. Should sound kind without being overly childish.
Love interest: None
(Chuckling) Maybe. But I think fighters need something who reminds them of what their protecting
(quietly, shaken but trying to stay composed) “…It’s happening again. Why does it always have to happen again?”
(Yelling in fear) I know my power doesn’t look as cool as fire or ice! But don’t mistake my kindness for weakness!
Name: Nozomi Kurosawa
Age: 15
Ability: Shield / Barrier Creation
Weapon: None
Pronouns: He/Him
Personality: Responsible, strict, caring, protective, disciplined, dependable, patient, and serious. Nozomi naturally takes charge when things become chaotic and often feels like it’s his responsibility to keep everyone safe. He’s not cold—he genuinely cares about Class Zero—but he can become overly focused on protecting everyone and forget to look after himself.
Height: 6’0”
Birthday: 4/12
Nationality: Japanese
Background:
Nozomi became accustomed to being responsible for others from a young age. His Shield and Barrier Creation ability reinforced that instinct, allowing him to protect teammates by creating defensive barriers around himself, other people, or specific areas.
Although Nozomi is extremely dependable, he struggles with the idea that he cannot prevent every mistake or protect everyone from every danger. His character arc focuses on accepting that sometimes things will go wrong despite his best efforts—and that making a mistake doesn’t make him a failure.
During the war, Nozomi becomes the defensive anchor of his group. He fights alongside Itsuki and Yuna, using his barriers to protect Yuna while Itsuki takes the frontline. The constant pressure of protecting others pushes his ability and his own endurance to their limits.
Tone of voice: Calm, firm, responsible, and reassuring. Usually controlled, but becomes commanding and intense when giving orders during dangerous situations.
Accent: Japanese
Voice type: Medium-low male voice; steady, mature, and authoritative without sounding harsh. His softer moments should reveal how much he genuinely cares about his teammates.
Love interest: None
(Standing in front of the class) good morning everyone! I am Nozomi Kurosawa! Since we will be working together as class zero, I heavily believe we should introduce each other!
(Holding out multiple notebooks) I have created a schedule for training, studying and personal improvement!
(Quickly) hurry Itsuki! The barrier is going to shatter in less than a minute!
Name: Itsuki Mori
Age: 15
Ability: Wolf
Weapon: Claws
Pronouns: She/Her
Personality:
Wild, fierce, honest, energetic, instinctive, protective, reckless, confident, and extremely loyal. Itsuki tends to act on instinct rather than overthink situations. She is straightforward and rarely hides what she is feeling. Once she considers someone part of her “pack,” she becomes fiercely protective of them and will put herself in danger without hesitation.
Height: 5’6”
Birthday: 9/3
Nationality: Japanese
Background:
Itsuki was born into a family where everyone possesses the Wolf ability. Members of her family can gradually develop their ability from basic wolf traits into more advanced forms, eventually gaining the ability to fully transform into a wolf.
Itsuki grew up learning to trust her instincts and rely on her heightened senses. However, her impulsive nature often causes her to rush into dangerous situations before thinking things through.
During the war, Itsuki reaches a major breakthrough in her ability while trying to protect Yuna. She unlocks her full wolf transformation for the first time. Even after suffering severe injuries, she refuses to back down and continues fighting to protect her friends.
Her character arc focuses on learning that being brave does not always mean charging forward alone. Her instincts are one of her greatest strengths, but she eventually learns to combine them with strategy and trust in her teammates.
Tone of Voice:
Energetic, blunt, confident, expressive, and slightly rough. Usually speaks quickly and naturally, especially when excited or angry. Her voice becomes noticeably more serious and focused when someone she cares about is in danger.
Accent:
Japanese
Voice Type:
Medium female voice with a youthful, energetic quality. Can switch from playful and lively to fierce and commanding during combat.

Name: Hinosha Yadako
Age: 15
Ability: Squirrel
Weapon: None
Pronouns: He/Him
Personality:
Energetic, hyperactive, curious, chaotic, friendly, talkative, unpredictable, playful, easily distracted, and surprisingly brave. Hinosha constantly moves, climbs, fidgets, or looks around for something interesting. He talks extremely quickly when excited and has a habit of interrupting himself because his brain has already moved onto another thought.
Despite his chaotic personality, Hinosha is extremely perceptive and has excellent hearing. He notices things other people completely miss and can sometimes react before anyone else realizes something is happening.
He is also very affectionate and loyal toward his friends, especially Haru. When someone he cares about is in danger, his usual silliness can disappear almost instantly.
Height: 4’9”
Birthday: 14/10
Nationality: Japanese
Background:
Hinosha grew up in a neglected, garbage-filled town where his parents worked as janitors for a nearby morgue. He developed a fascination with anatomy and was curious about visiting the morgue himself.
While travelling there, he was kidnapped, but managed to escape using his squirrel-like agility. Afterward, he became afraid of staying in one place for too long and moved between different places, always believing that constantly moving would keep him safe.
Eventually, Hinosha joins the Academy and becomes part of Class Zero. His hyperactivity and unpredictability make him difficult for enemies to anticipate.
During the war, this becomes especially important against an enemy capable of predicting actions with 99.9% accuracy. Hinosha’s spontaneous and unpredictable behavior creates the tiny margin the enemy cannot account for.
His character arc focuses on learning that he doesn’t always have to keep moving to be safe. Class Zero gradually becomes a place where he can finally stay.
Ability Details:
Hinosha possesses physical traits associated with squirrels, including heightened hearing, exceptional agility, fast reflexes, climbing ability, and a large fluffy tail. His small size makes him difficult to catch and allows him to move through spaces larger opponents cannot.
His biggest weakness is water. When his fur becomes soaked, it becomes heavy and slows him down significantly. Extremely loud environments can also overwhelm his sensitive hearing.
Tone of Voice:
Very energetic, fast-paced, expressive, and excitable. He often sounds like he’s halfway through his next sentence before finishing the current one. When genuinely frightened or serious, his voice becomes noticeably quieter and more focused.
Accent:
Japanese
Voice Type:
High-to-medium male voice with a youthful, bright, energetic quality. Fast delivery, lots of expressive reactions, and a naturally excitable tone.
Love Interest:
Haru Minamoto
