Hinosha Yadako

Name: Hinosha Yadako
Age: 15
Ability: Squirrel
Weapon: None
Pronouns: He/Him

Personality:
Energetic, hyperactive, curious, chaotic, friendly, talkative, unpredictable, playful, easily distracted, and surprisingly brave. Hinosha constantly moves, climbs, fidgets, or looks around for something interesting. He talks extremely quickly when excited and has a habit of interrupting himself because his brain has already moved onto another thought.

Despite his chaotic personality, Hinosha is extremely perceptive and has excellent hearing. He notices things other people completely miss and can sometimes react before anyone else realizes something is happening.

He is also very affectionate and loyal toward his friends, especially Haru. When someone he cares about is in danger, his usual silliness can disappear almost instantly.

Height: 4’9”
Birthday: 14/10
Nationality: Japanese

Background:
Hinosha grew up in a neglected, garbage-filled town where his parents worked as janitors for a nearby morgue. He developed a fascination with anatomy and was curious about visiting the morgue himself.

While travelling there, he was kidnapped, but managed to escape using his squirrel-like agility. Afterward, he became afraid of staying in one place for too long and moved between different places, always believing that constantly moving would keep him safe.

Eventually, Hinosha joins the Academy and becomes part of Class Zero. His hyperactivity and unpredictability make him difficult for enemies to anticipate.

During the war, this becomes especially important against an enemy capable of predicting actions with 99.9% accuracy. Hinosha’s spontaneous and unpredictable behavior creates the tiny margin the enemy cannot account for.

His character arc focuses on learning that he doesn’t always have to keep moving to be safe. Class Zero gradually becomes a place where he can finally stay.

Ability Details:
Hinosha possesses physical traits associated with squirrels, including heightened hearing, exceptional agility, fast reflexes, climbing ability, and a large fluffy tail. His small size makes him difficult to catch and allows him to move through spaces larger opponents cannot.

His biggest weakness is water. When his fur becomes soaked, it becomes heavy and slows him down significantly. Extremely loud environments can also overwhelm his sensitive hearing.

Tone of Voice:
Very energetic, fast-paced, expressive, and excitable. He often sounds like he’s halfway through his next sentence before finishing the current one. When genuinely frightened or serious, his voice becomes noticeably quieter and more focused.

Accent:
Japanese

Voice Type:
High-to-medium male voice with a youthful, bright, energetic quality. Fast delivery, lots of expressive reactions, and a naturally excitable tone.

Haru Minamoto
